The first room was super pretty and they have a bunch of cute cat merchandise at the counter. Check in was super fast, all I needed to do was sign a waiver. I like the area and location as it's conveniently close to both Santa Clara Caltrain Station and the SCU Campus. It was nice and relaxing being able to spend a full hour surrounded by various cats. Some were playful/energetic, while one snuggled up next to me for a nap. I also like how the fast WiFi available (making it a good place to do some work or some gaming on the go). I'll definitely have to come back and check out their "Work from Nabi: 2-hour" visit option sometim

Easily accessible by public transportation, and is a short walk from Ashby BART. I love Middle Eastern Desserts, so when I was invited to a casual gathering here, I was delighted to check out Milyar's offerings. It was verrrryyyyy slowwwwww. I think we all waited 20 minutes-ish as they rolled out our orders. Because I'm a sucker for desserts, here's what I tried: Pistachio milk cake: suuuuper moist Chicken mustan: warm and savory with shredded chicken on the inside Knafeh cheesecake: Cheesecake Factory could never! Knafeh has grown on me since I first tried it, and I enjoyed this in cheesecake form. Pistachio Baklava: a classic! This was nice and big, like a small pie slice, and was soooo good. They also gave our gathering a Dubai chocolate milk cake and two baklavas for free.

There is a photo wall inside & facade along the outside to take pictures with. We only came for counter service. Everything is nicely displayed in cases & a menu is above the counter. During our visit, there was a sign that the donut machine was out of order. Along with sweets & drinks, they sell Sanrio merchandise. There is seating just outside the store. Pop music plays. We didn't get acknowledged or greeted when we entered the space & began to browse. Once we were ready to make our purchase, a staffer approached & was friendly. There was so much cuteness to choose from! We purchased a Pompompurin cookie & a location specific Hello Kitty keychain. Though it felt really hard, the kiddo enjoyed the cookie. The keychain is a nice quality. They only have a cashless payment system & receipts are sent digitally to your phone.

U get to choose a beverage, lemonade, hot tea, or soft drink, they give u a strawberry and mousse to start and then bring our ur drinks and then the tea pastries and sweets. I felt it was a good amt of savory as well as sweet. I enjoyed my experience! It is not a cheap experience tho so would def come for a special occasion.

Parking nearby is horrendous, super busy even on the weekdays before the rush hour so I can't imagine weekends when people are out or other high traffic times. Get ready to make some rounds and pay for parking and be careful since there's very specific signage and times. The cafe itself is cute and cozy. Front area is a gift shop with lots of cat themed gifts and goodies like keychains, stickers, and such, and also some items from local and small artists too, which is neat. The cafe also has community events like movie showings ("The Cat Returns" was one of them which is a great choice) and cat yoga. If you're local, you can also get a time stamp if you are a frequent visitor. Definitely follow their socials for more information. There's reservations online and you can also do walk ins if it's not super busy. You can book for a 55 minute visit or a 30 minute visit. PRO-TIP: There's a discount for students, so if you want to be surrounded by some feline friends while you study or relax, great place to do so. You can hang your coat on the rack and there's a mini shelf area for your shoes. So you gotta walk in with socks! With each visit you can either get a hot cup of tea or a cold can or box drink from their fridge (sparking water, juices, etc.). Very refreshing and you can enjoy it in the cat area too. Sanitize your hands before and after visiting. There's lots of cats hiding around, sleeping, walking around, and some are super friendly and will go into your lap. There's toys you can play with the cats with and there's a wall of adoptable cats. Lots of seats or you can opt to sit on the floor with the cats too. There's relaxing lo-fi music throughout too. Pretty cool that they rescued 2 cats from Qatar and neat that we got to see them. As with all cats, some can be a bit spicy but it's usually just a warning teeth rub. I own cats so there's nothing new. I'm horribly allergic to the cat that specifically lives in my house, but I didn't get an allergy here, meaning that the cats are clean and well taken for. My favorite was a large sleepy orange boy, Ron (permanent non-adoptable resident) that was hanging out next to me the entire time.

I bought a coffee. In the interior cat area there are many cats inside, with many toys to play with. Lots of varieties. We saw one with inly 3 legs but he was so adorable!!! They came in different moods, some were napping and some were ultra hyper. The staff was very nice and it seemed lots of them were getting adopted. There was lots of parking right in front of the restaurant that made getting inside super convenient. There was plenty of room for us to sit at a large table with our babies in high chairs & strollers nearby. Inside the cafe is decorated very nicely. The staff were so kind and welcoming too. I ordered a mocha and the sweet cheese crepes. My mocha was the perfect balance of sweetness and chocolatey! I savored every sip. The real star of the show though, were the crepes. They were perfectly soft but with a slight crisp on the outside just like I like them. The filling was sweet but not overly and was well balanced with the slight bitterness from the berry topping on the crepes. Overall the ambiance, food, and accessibility make this a great spot for brunch! Will definitely be coming back.

A lot of other places were closed so I figured what the heck. I got a Vietnamese breakfast that came with eggs, a fresh loaf of bread, some sausage, and some pate/ butter. No complaints here.
