First time here last night. Place is not as big as downtown hookah location, but I kinda liked it being smaller. The service was great, didn't catch the guys name, but he had a long bread. He was super friendly and he took pride in his job. The hookah price was very decent, so I bought 2! They have non alcoholic drinks available to purchase. They play the usual music videos on several big screen tvs. The vibe is chill, not too crowded, and great service during our time there. The staff made sure our coals were burning right several times. Only con.... I guess it would be the music selection. It wasn't terrible, but maybe a bigger variety would help improve the scene. I loved the fact that this place wasn't overly crowded on a late Saturday night. The place had some good music playing and wasn't too smokey inside. We were quickly seated after ordering two different flavors of hookah. We had a pineapple and a mint one. Both flavors were pretty decent, with the mint one being my favorite one of the night. What makes this place stand out from other hookah places is that they also serve some drinks. They have a few teas and coffee available. The place is laid back, spacious and pretty chill. The decor is a bit different and doesn't seem to really go with the theme/flow of the place. Maybe if it was a bit more modern rather than just some random painting it would be cool. The staff came around to make sure we were doing ok and change our coals here and there but sadly I wasn't able to hear half the things she would say to us. read more

Relaxing and chill environment. Great customer service at any time of day! Great location as well with plenty of parking. This is the best spot to come during the day to enjoy a hookah and get some work/homework done. Highly recommend this place because of the atmosphere and the always spot on hookah! Prices are comparable with any other hookah lounge so you can expect to pay about the same as anywhere else except you'll get excellent customer service as well as excellent hookah while being in a much more relaxed atmosphere. This place sucks, they had no music playing they just had tv playing (I am shauna ray) which made it not appealing for people to even stay. The place is very very small, we fortunately got lucky to get a seat that was decent because people left a table as soon as we arrived. The music is cool but the workers were kind of too laid back for my liking. Overall I'll probably just go back to Xhale Hookah Lounge. read more

The Fire Temple is one of few hang out places in town. If you're not yet 21 and Starbucks is getting to be a tired repetition, then the Fire Temple is a good place to hang. This is the only hookah bar in Turlock providing people a local hang out place, a good alternative to driving to Modesto. People that run Fire Temple are friendly and the music there is off the hook. Mix of international, hip hop, rai, Persian, etc music always keeps the beat moving. The exotic hookah flavors and great tasting teas keep you coming back for more to try other flavors. This place is my go to place to chill at in Turlock.. Since Turlock is surely lacking on downtown scene for young people, it's nice to have a place around here that has a fun night life vibe. Fire Temple has a lot of shisha flavors to choose from and plenty of (non-alcoholic) drinks. The guys are cool for the most part, some of them have a tendency to talk down to you as if you have never smoked hookah in your life. I for one love hookah and I know what flavors I like already, and one dude constantly tries to push the flavors he's trying to get rid of each time I go there and see him. A little annoying but whatever, it's still a good time. They big screen projector is cool and they have all kinds of music playing from Middle Eastern tunes, to Hip-Hop, to Electronic & Techno (although I would love for them to play less techno and more hip hop). read more

The guys working here have a good sense of humor. They're all pretty attentive. The price is okay and the hookah's always good. I wish they'd have something going on in the center of the room instead of all the couch things lined up against the walls with nothing to look at in the middle. My friends and I love the convenience of this place since it is so close to campus. I'd recommend some better music... Great, comfy atmosphere. Owner was especially nice! Stayed open 15min longer so we could get one more hookah fix. Super nice to give us white people some advice on the art of hookah-ing. Sadly there are extremely few places to hang out in Turlock even though it is a college town. This one is probably the best, way better than X-hale. The decor doesn't match the name at all which I find a bit odd. The staff is great and extremely friendly. Although I miss the music they use to play there. It use to be a ton of different genres spanning over different cultures and now it seems to just consist of Lil Wayne. And there is no artist I hate more than him... if you can even call him an artist. But this is the only place to hang out in walking distance of Campus, get it together Turlock. read more

After having the worst experience of my hookah life at XHale, we decided to try Fire Temple and let me say....We never ever went back to XHale. This place had amazing customer service and the price was decent. The music isn't too loud and the hookah is great. The only weird thing about this venue is the center of the room is a large space with nothing in it. The building is poorly utilized in that sense, and the decor is a little off but that's nothing they can't improve on. read more

This is the first and last time I will be here. Don't pay with debit your total will be adjusted and be charged more . They tell you u have a king bowl when u don't. Their hookas have mold. If they could charge u for using toilet paper they would. Numerous times my total was later adjusted and been overcharged 2,3, even 5 dollars. They are thieves and they will steal from you. Just warning you if you want hookah I'd definitely would look for other places if I could give this place 0-5 stars I would but I can't . Hello, well I went to this "hookah" lounge and was it a waste of time, money, and my breath. When first walked we wern't greeted and stood around wondering what to do. Finally a patron told us to go to the back of the place to order first thing the owner says is "Vud you like somting to drinkv" we said no we just want a hookah then he says "vould you like personal pizza" we said no thanks and he got somewhat offended and replied " I'm not asking you for now I am telling you, for next time. Anyways the hookah was advertised for 6.69 but we were charged 15.00 for a hookah. Then the tips for sanitation did not fit the hookah so we had to improvise. Anyways it was the first and last time we will ever go there. Please think twice before taking a group of friends for a night out. read more
