So I haven't been here in years, and honestly was very disappointed. Looks like they remodeled, and the place looks nice, but the vibe was not there. Came in on a Saturday night and it was dead, which is fine... but the music was horrendous. There used to be variety in the music, but they only played Spanish "hip hop", Banda, corridos, and other stuff that isn't really for the masses... on top of that the hookah was horrible. So sad to see what happened to a place that we used to come and have fun. read more

Xhale is one of the best hookah spots I've ever been to. I'm not too big on the new decor though. I think adding the tree and lounge couch seating is cool and soothing but this time, Xhale didn't give me that poppin' club vibe of what it used to be. I loved the pink, purple, blue lights from before and that atmosphere of being like an upscale club. It's not like that anymore. Instead, I feel like I'm in someones living room at their well-kept house. Service is the same, hookah is still delicious and well made, people still show up, etc. Xhale was one of the main places I looked forward to coming to, when I come to Turlock but now it's more like whatever. Amazing experience! We went for my cousins birthday and we loved it! Such a chill and cool environment. No drama just people enjoying the music and smoking hookah. I will definitely come back, so much fun! They had tons of flavors, like 20 different flavors, we got there at 9, when we left at 11:30, the hookah was still going, hitting hard. They come by every like 10 minutes and change the coals to keep the hookah going. I really appreciated that. It's a pretty upscale lounge, dark sexy interior. Every since day 1 of this place being open I have been here every single day. You don't find places like this here in Turlock. You are treated like family here. The costumers come first they do everything in their power to make them happy. They are always up for new ideas to change around the place. If you don't know what flavor to get the staff is there to help you out. Once a month they have a DJ party with a belly dancer feels like a club. The new VIP room looks great it's something you would see at a club. The hours are perfect and the location is great too if your 21 and up your around all the bars and can go have a few drinks then come back. Always with the inside sitting they have outside sitting to and thats perfect for the summer months. We were told we were getting a Vip booth which it wasn't cause we've been here before and there's a private area for vip services we sat in a regular broken booth and paid like $75 dollars since it was"Vip" the servers were ignoring us the whole time and seemed like they were laughing at the fact that they took advantage of the situation ! All I can say is we ended up in cantinas instead lol ! I smoke hookah almost every single day. And this has to be the best hookah lounge I've ever gone to. Their prices are decent, actually pretty cheap to be honest. They usually have deals that go on during the week (10$ Tuesday for example). I belive they just remodeled inside, and it's a great place to go to have a good smoke and be able to relax and unwind. They just got some new outdoor heaters for the weekends when they are usually packed so people can sit outside comfortably no matte the weather. I don't even want to start on the staff because right away, they open their business with open arms and treat everyone as an individual not just a random person. They make everyone feel like their family and at home. Overall, I give this place more than 5 stars but it won't allow me to do that. Great staff, great service, great hookah, amazing atmosphere. The last two times I've gone up to visit the family, I am always stuck wondering what is there to do on the weekends in the 209. Lucky for me, my awesome friends know a few places to hit up on the weekends that seem to be pretty poppin and this happened to be one of them. This place seems to be pretty crowded on the weekend and I can see why. This place has a modern vibe, is comfortable, affordable and is playing some decent music and random music videos on their many tvs. The staff has always been pretty helpful and on top of things. They change your coal and come around to make sure you are doing alright every so often. This hookah lounge has a large variety of tasty and high quality flavors such as peach, gummy bear and even pineapple. They will be happy to combine flavors and even inform you if the flavors won't go well in their opinion. They will also recommend you flavors if you are unable to decide. They do have a large variety of flavors to choose from so you are bound to have no trouble picking out a few. Great place for first timers too. The ice tip which is I believe $3 extra and I highly recommend getting, makes the hookah more smoother and enhances the flavor. Took a first timer here on my second visit and she too now enjoys hookah. On the weekends the place can get busy and they stop allowing people in after all the tables are full. You will most likely see a small line of people standing outside waiting to get in. They close around 2am on Thursdays through Saturdays, 12:30am Monday through Wednesday. No alcohol is served here and I can see why. I would hate to see drunk/sloppy people walking around and breaking one of their hookahs. But being that it is a lounge, I wish they did allow drinks there like at other hookah places I've been too, therefore deducting a star. The place is big and decent for groups of people so bring your friends. For less than $20 you can have a good hour or so of tasty hookah. Mainly street parking to find this place and don't forget to pick up your ID if you used an ice tip (they hold it until you are done). Over all this place has a great atmosphere and will give you one of the best hookah experiences I've had.This place def set the standards high for hookah lounges. I will recommend it to anyone. Can i just say I wish I could put no stars, But I guess one star will do! let me start off by saying we paid $75 to sit in a corner with broken couches and uncomfortable stools that was considered "v.i.p" for being vip or even in general it was the most horrible service ever our hookah was harsh we tried to call the guy who was walking around he completely ignored us I asked for a water and was told to stand up and pay for it " there's a register for a reason" I tried to bring up to the problem to the person in charge, but apparently they couldn't do anything about it. One of the best hookah lounges I've been too. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. They offer tons of different flavors. Also the only hookah lounge I know that offers ice tips. Service is very quick and and constant even when the place is packed. The place was very clean and spacious, they even offer outside seating. The music played is at a good volume not too loud to where you can't here the person next to you. They have event here every so often where they do have a cover charge but conveniently you can pay with cash or card. I came here at 12:15 and requested a hookah right away had to ask for a refund at 1:20. Having to ask at least three times about where the hookah was, including an instance where they said they were just waiting for coals. Apparently coals were abundantly available for others, because they got their hookahs with no problems; while we waited for our coals. We finally gave up at 1:20 and asked for a refund. Apparently they had just dug out some coals from their mine because out came the hookah, but at this point the unmitigated gall and disrespect for clientele was too much. Funny how the hookah was quickly ready when asking for a refund and not during the near hour we sat around waiting while plenty others who came after got theirs. read more

This Hookah Lounge is without a doubt one of the prettiest I've seen. The line to get in is ridiculous, the people there are pompous (including the staff), but the hookah is good. The biggest issue I've had with this place is the night I showed up (before the published closing time) and they decided to close their doors because "it wasn't busy enough". That was silly but I didn't gripe about it. My friend and I stood outside talking and we noticed a few different groups of people approach the lounge. The person who initially told us it was closed let them in and closed the door. This is unprofessional and just flat out rude! I don't care what the circumstances were, there was no reason for it. This is the first hookah lounge I've ever been in so I don't know if my expectations are skewed or not. Nice place with a dark clubby vibe. Hookah tasted very good and there are leather couches to sit on everywhere. I'm not sure if this is typical but it was a very young crowd and I'm assuming that's why they don't serve alcohol which is somewhat of a bummer if you are old enough. At the time we were asking ourselves "what are we doing here without a beer or a glass in our hands?" If you peel off the aluminum foil you will see very minimal shisha is packed. The service is horrible, they tend to have a lot family events and forget about the rest of the clientele. Xhale is our favorite hookah spot. I've been going here since about two months after they opened and it has been consistently good. The owner is a good guy who always ensures we feel appreciated for our business and the workers know us by name and our flavor of choice! We feel like family here and this will always be like home to us! Hookahs are priced fairly at $15 most days. They run specials on Tuesday's they are $10 and thursdays they are $13! Each table has a button you can press to ask for new coals which is extremely convenient. They are open late and provide security at the door on weekends to ensure safety and organization inside.
