The only reason we gave 1 star is because we enjoyed the music and that ended abruptly. The employee Jay is unsafe and scary to be around. As my fiancé and I were winding down from our date night we stopped at the hookah club and witnessed the employee yelling demeaning disrespecting a african american woman customer as she was sitting. My fiancé was prepared to be on defense for the lady if needed be. Background checks and serious security is needed to continue business here. The lady held her ground luckily she was with 2 friends or maybe 1 boyfriend but the younger mexican curly hair with hat employee kept pushing cursing and poking start large problems. We would never return here they need to go out of business. We left to avoid ruining our date night which sucks because my fiancé was going to show me his pool table skills before leaving. Fire temple is the best hookah lounge around! Excellent customer service, good music, they have tons of flavors to choose from. Alcohol available for the 21+ and other snacks and non-tobacco flavors for 18+! I don't think we'll go to other places bc of how much we love the workers and the atmosphere here. This was the first Hookah lounge that i've been to in the valley. The age group was from 20s to 30. There were multiple flat screen t.v s showing music videos and the sound system was bumping new school trap, rap and reggaeton music. They have two pool tables and you can order beers at the front counter. We were there on a Wednesday night (night before Thanksgiving). The "servers" were really nice and the atmosphere in the lounge was friendly. This place definitely gets packed on the holidays and weekends. read more

We are originally from LA and just visiting in the area. This place is young and hip. Average age is 25ish and the music is hip hop/ r&b/ top 40s/ edm. We got a hookah and two beers for $22(that's a great price for the quality of the hookah) very friendly staff and clean facility. read more

Wouldn't recommend this place the employees are always to wasted to help the customers extremely unprofessional. Drinking on the clock should be took seriously. This use to be the best place/hookah in town! But along with the service, the music has changed/declined in a major way! Most of the time you cant even have a conversation over the music. Very inconsistent place now, from the mood of the staff to music to maybe or maybe not getting new charcoal, and to top if off the time they close. Been here twice in the past 3 weeks and on my last visit, the service was horrible! Took forever for my hookah to even come to me. The it took over 30 min for the guy working to come to check my coals or replace them. I got an ice tip and lemme tell you guys, DON'T. It got warm within 15 min of receiving it, so when the guy came around checking coals the first time, I asked him if I could have a normal hose instead and he said yeah... 45 min later he came around to check the coals again and I asked him again for a normal hose and he's like oh yeah I forgot. Well duhhh, obvi you forgot. I'll prolly give them another shot soon, but their service needs a huge step up. read more

The best hookah lounge in 209 area. Their hookahs are great and I didn't find it anywhere. The customer service is amazing and they treat you like your own friends. I never felt tired or boring here. Every time we go the hookah sucks! They never pack the bowls right, it always taste like the bowls burning. And they ID every damn time even though they've seen us multiple times before. Never check if people need more charcoal. NOT recommended. Definitely not going they're anymore! read more

My first experience here wasn't the best. The hookahs are very nice the whole ice set up its cool and all but they give too few coals. It's very hard to milk the hookah and keep the heat. The tips don't allow enough air flow. For anyone that is looking to do smoke tricks I recommended smoking at your house. The music was very out dated lil Wayne all night. Not a good choice for a Saturday night. Pricing however is very reasonable. Customer service isn't bad and the owner is a nice guy. This lounge is the best not only in Modesto but the whole bay area! It is cozy, well contructed, nice seating arrangements, nice interior design, billards (pool) play area, well selected music for the lounge (not always to my personal taste but, hey it is a lounge for everyone, not just me). The owner Paul is a great guy. He greets you personally all time (if you have already met) and asks if everything is well and if you need something like a friend. The guys who work and make your hookahs are great guys. Latterell is a great guy. The coals are always changed and flavors last a long time. Come visit this place and you will not regret it. I am not 99.9% sure because nothing is ever 100% especially with human beings:). read more

It was a cool place to chill but the prices are a butt fuck ton of money to spend. $45 for 1 hookah to smoke are you kidding me?! That's ridiculous. Also we didn't get no tongs to adjust our coals and our hookah was packed too tight so we asked the guy and he was being a jackass telling us we're not smoking it right. Horrible service tonight. I ordered my hookah and it took them thirty minutes to bring it my table. My friend had ordered a drink and kept having to remind the girl and guy that she had also purchased a drink but that took them an HOUR!!! Between here and habibi this place is great. We come here pretty often and the service is always great. They often check up on us and make sure everything is okay. They are very accommodating with making sure we are taken care of. Aside from that the environment is chill and the music is a good selection of different varieties. Everytime I go there it's great! The customer service is great, and if something is wrong with your hookah, they'll fix it right away, with no charge! Not too expensive so it's a cool social environment with tons of seating! A few hd tv's will keep you even more entertained while you watch music videos while smoking. Came here on a Thurs. night. The hookah itself wasnt that great compared to surrounding hookah lounges. The hookah took so long to come out my friend and I wondered if the guy forgot about our order. Flavor lasts about an hour, hour and a half tops, there was too much water in the base and smoke output is meh. Also, NO REGULAR COAL SERVICE? Maybe check up on your guests more? The music is sooooo random. Theres no rhyme or reason to what they play. If you come here youll know what i mean. Overall the visit was bleh. The Persian tea is like the Bigalow of Persian teas. Pass on it if youre looking for the strong flavorful type. Also the place is not the most convenient to get to from the parking lot. The place doesnt look like the same as the pictures from 3 years ago which in my opinion is a bummer since it looked better back in the day. The pics from 3 yrs ago actually made me wanna try this place out. Shouldve looked at the updated photos. When I found out about this place I was real excited. The first time I went in, only one person working, but the hookah took literally 30 minutes, but the place was beautiful so ignored that fact. Second time went in, again, one person working, and hookah took way longer than 30 minutes. Told the front desk guy, then he brought it out. After we got the hookah, OH MY GOODNESS, worse hookah EVER. Nothing came out, asked the guy if he could put an extra coal and he was so hesitant that he never came to us! Bad hookah. This seems like a really cool place to hang out because of the decor. My friend and I went down to check the place out and didn't even make it to the door before turning around and leaving. The music was blaring. You could feel the bass from outside. I can understand if it was a nightclub, but I don't go to listen to blaring music. I wanna be able to sit back, relax, talk with my friends and enjoy the night; not have to talk over the music and not be able to hear anyone speak.
