The blonde who waitresses/works the bar is terrible. I literally cringe when I walk in and see her there...and I contemplate leaving...and then always end up regretting my choice to stay. She is THE RUDEST person I have ever met in my life. Otherwise I love this place. Lots of people feel this way. Get rid of her and your business will thrive! read more

No doubt the hippest place for small bites and drinks in the area. Anyone can enjoy themselves here at this wine and craft beer bar. The warm, fun and friendly staff is not short on personality. Made to order plates prepared fresh...nothing is prefabricated in this place. Secondly, if there's anything you want to you know about the beer ...ask. "Beer is the new wine" and there's much to learn and explore right here on Main Street in Goshen. Who knew? read more

Great intimate venue for casual date night. Highlights: Fairly priced wine list with good breadth of selection Incredible tacos (I had steak and short ribs) Great meat and cheese selection sourced from local farms. Service was excellent and friendly (no issues from what I read in other reviews) All and all a great dinner I will be back. read more

Let's start with the positive. The burger was great and the chicken wings were above average. The tacos on the other hand were flavorless and I didnt get the tacos I ordered but there was no way to convey that because the service was absolutely terrible. The waitresses very apparently did not care about waiting on us and was very difficult to get ahold of as she sat at the bar looking at some book. Overall I would not recommend this places. read more

We happened to be shopping at woodbury for the day, and after a day of shopping we were quick parched and quite hungry. A friend from the area had once recommended craft 47, knowing we are fans of craft beer. The ambiance is quite nice, a lot of wood and well appointed. They had a decent offering of craft beers, we sampled several and found good ones. The waitress was very polite and overall catered to our needs. The menu was interesting, they offer a plethora of small plate bar food options, such as tacos, sliders and some mid-size options such as flat breads. We asked for and ultimately ordered what our waitress recommended as the most popular options, and unfortunately the majority of the food was subpar. The flatbread needed serious seasoning, or even just some salt. The same can be said of the meatball slider, which just simply lacked any real flavor. We had ordered truffle fries and those were tasty. So much so that we used the salty fries to add flavor to the items we ordered. One of saving grace was the desert, we had a berry tart that was scrumptious. Overall, I'm not sure what the other options are in the area, so I can't compare, but it's certainly not worth heading up here as a destination. But if you are local, it would imagine it's a good option to have a brew. read more

Great food and craft beer selection. I definitely recommend this place. Great brunch on the weekends though service tends to be a bit slow when they are busy. Food is reasonably priced and of great quality. Draft beer is priced on the high side for this locale. $10 for some higher-end, 12oz drafts is high even compared to NYC or Westchester craft beer bars. Beer prices are not published, so it's always a mystery until you get your tab. read more

Ok the absolute only reason I'm not giving this place 5 stars is because the owner (what's her name) is the absolute worst............. she has -0 personality or customer relations exp. It is a great place to dine and chill out, enjoy delicious tapas, music and have great conversations with the staff when "she" is out of sight. I have literally gone in and left when I see her there. I continue patronizing this place only because of Eddie he is amazing!!!! The blue point oysters that use to be $1 on Wednesday now they have increased. And George who is back thank god...... , George was with Craft from the beginning after his departure I stopped going and then "she" hired Eddie. I know damn well this is her business but she does nothing for the customers who keep her in business. Just saying read more

I wish yelp had 1/2 stars...I would give it 2.5, not that that's a great rating I was excited to go to tapas place in the Hudson Valley but was very disappointed with the restaurant We ordered some clams to start which was the highlight of the meal. We got two sliders, two tacos, a flatbread pizza, and two crab cakes. The sliders had a burnt taste to them, not good. The short rib taco had a nice flavor and was worth ordering. The shrimp mango taco was small and lacked flavor. I know it's tapas but $5 for a small flavorless shrimp taco was not worth it, plus it lacked flavor. The flatbread was undercooked and lacked flavor, it was not worth $9. I don't mind spending the money for good food but the food lacked flavor and creativity. Finally, we had the crab cakes. They had a good texture but they didn't have the correct taste profile. They were served in a chipotle sauce which didn't go well with crab cakes. The service was great and they had plenty of drink choices. We wanted to like this restaurant and I wish I could write a positive review. The good menu options lacked flavor and imagination. Portions were small (I know it's tapas) but make up for the small portions with flavor, which craft 47 didn't. I would not return to this restaurant and would not recommend it to friends. read more

This was our go to place until recently, the kitchen help must have changed because the food is now awful. Overcooked ahi tuna, a burnt burger plus a tasteless pizza at our last visit has turned us off. A week prior our meal was fair at best. I realized all restaurants are short staffed, but besides VERY slow service the waitress was incompetent. She brought us appetizers with no plates or silverware, even after requested 2x. We waited 20 minutes for our beer, never got a soda with our meal and we flagged down another waitress to get ketchup. Everyone around us was complaining about waiting over an hour for their food and several had their order come out of the kitchen wrong. read more

Great food, great service. Huge menu of choices. Unusual dishes that cannot be found elsewhere, e.g., ricotta truffle flatbread. Delicious!

Food is disappointing and way overpriced. Got both pork and steak tacos- they were tasteless, grisly and sparse on the meat. The empanada filling was also unseasoned and the outside tasted like it had been fried with Chinese food so the full effect was "lame egg roll". It was also packaged poorly so the empanada was soggy. No one in my house finished their dinner and it's not like the portions are big. read more

Food was terrible, flatbread tasted like the free samples you get at BJs. Waiters took forever to serve us, drinks were ok. The table were they sat us was dirty. Nothing special. read more

Came with a friend for a lunch snack. Ordered a few Singlecut beers, and flat breads from the menu. The menu selection was nice, a good variety of different items. The beer was good, cold and smooth, great flavor. My friend and I enjoyed the flatbreads very much, would order them again. The environment is nice, clean, cool music in the background. Overall out experience was good as far as the food and place. Our only gripe was that the two girls working here have a chip on their shoulders, almost felt like I was bothering them. Their attitudes kinda ruin the atmosphere here, if not for them, I would have rated 5 stars. read more

Review update is to report that menus are larger and much more readable and the ambient sound has been dampened nicely. We have also been back for music and the performers have been unique and talented. Still one of our favorite places to be. As my wife says "I could live here". read more

As small businesses are dying we decided to give this place a try by the good reviews we seen. The food was amazing and I wish a review would separate from the service. The one star is for Karen.s who turned a bottomless mimosa to limited ?! We had 3 !! Because Karen was so behind. I had even finished it as she was refilling my friends and told me it was a waste because that's not how she refills !! Awful !! I will probably never come back to dine in maybe take the food to go, but it was not worth it at all. ! read more

Great local place, I will definitely be back! Fantastic beer selection including your standard delicious microbrews as well as more specialized beers like lambic and sours (mmm!) Cool interior, with nice windows and throwback cool subtly-retro decorations. Good service, good food. I recommend the shrimp tacos, brisket tacos, Cajun penne, and sliders. Fish/mango taco was a little on the bland side, but overall food was solid--on par with what I'd expect at a nice local place in Brooklyn. read more

The beer and wine selection is amazing! The food is leaving me with the need to come back for dinner! Ha! We started with the guac which was made fresh and ahmazing! Then my food hubbie had two tacos in which he proclaimed he could eat 6 of the braised short rib tacos! I had the Chipotle chicken which I'm still savoring the flavor. It was the best flatbread I've ever had! The chipotle drizzle is unforgettable. This place is a foodies haven! read more

Everyone stop!!! don't even think of going here! WARNING!!! The only reason i say that is if they get swamped with people and the food stops being the most delicious thing I've ever tasted we will have a war! Speaking of war let's first discuss the war of flavors that went on in my mouth, i really thought this was going to be a bust i cant even pick a favorite tapas plate they all were my fav and i tried 8 diffrent dishes HIGHLY IMPRESSED! Will be back on the reg for sure. End note this is the first time I've given a review still sitting at the reviewing restaurant's table read more

I used to come here a lot. Always loved the people who worked here and the food. But i dont know what happened to the staff but they are all extremely rude and inattentive. We were sitting 10 minutes before them asking about drink orders, ect. Then once given everything we had to go to them to ask for another drink. Food is also very subpar (used to be awesome) but now nothing to rave about. My fiancé's burger was literally cut into threes and then shoved on the bun. Also whoever the blonde waitress is.....she sucks. Called out to her several times and was over it we grabbed the check and left. I used to recommend this place....now I'm recommending the opposite. I'll reply here since Yelp doesn't give me the option. 1st off, it wasn't busy. There was us and two other tables for a majority of the time. If it was busy, I would have absolutely understood the subpar service. However when we have to call over to the waitress multiples times yet she is consistently going to the other two tables regularly, there is a problem. Secondly, seeing as you clearly saw this go down, there is a problem with management as well. You should have stepped in and made an effort rather than allow this type of service. Be a man and admit tonight was an issue. Thirdly, I'm well aware of the pandemic as I've been coming here multiple times since the pandemic began and never experienced this type of service. I recommended this place on a daily basis. However after tonight and seeing how management is, I will do the opposite. Fourth, if there was a plating issue, it should have never been sent out. I mean come on that's common sense. Oh and finally, we weren't giving a tip when the waitress rarely checked on us. Be happy we insisted to pay for your awful entree. Now have a wonderful evening. read more

Great atmosphere... Modern American Alehouse style. Servers were attentive and assisted navigating the extensive beer menu and we're quick to keeps our glasses full. I had the sliders, beef with bacon and cheddar. All well cooked and properly proportioned for a light meal but with room to fit a couple beers. Overall a great experience. read more

Over all the experience was "ok" We ordered a bunch of food which was great (truffle fries are amazing) but I ordered a burger cooked medium-rare when I got the burger the outside was cooked to which seemed great, but when I took a bite the inside was pure chopped meat still pink and mushy, so I was rather disappointed in that. Service was very slow, on a Saturday night they deffinatley need more servers on. We got our meals faster than our desserts. read more

Reviews were right! Service was terrible. Rude. Waiter grabbed a menu, since it was our first time there (and apparently figured we couldn't read either), and read the entire menu to us item by item and said they were known for each item! When asked if we could sample a beer they said. "No! That beer is too high". High in alcohol?...high in popularity?....high in cost? high in height????? Not sure. But not accommodating or helpful. And the food was just ok at best. Spend your money elsewhere. read more

The beer selection at Craft 47 is improving constantly. I had a great brown ale last time I was there. I'll be back for more!

Let me begin by saying that I have always been a huge fan of the small, intimate chain of restaurants owned by this business. My husband and I were fortunate enough to spend NYE circa 2019 at the Bullroom, which as was a lovely and thoroughly engaging experience. We happened upon the owners and coincidently were swept into an evening of amazing food, beguiling cocktails, and stimulating conversation. We then decided that New Year's Brunch should be at be spent at their sister restaurant, Craft47. This past week, on our second annual trip for brunch, we arrived at 12pm, anticipating bottomless mimosas as well as the tantalizing and satisfying meal we had anticipated. Having worked as a server and bartender for the better part of a decade, I cautiously approached the restaurant, knowing they had only just opened. When I saw that the chairs were still stacked on the tables I asked the waitress/bartender/owner (Karen) if we could possibly wait inside until she was ready to open... fully prepared to sit quietly at the bar until the kitchen was warmed up, the beer was ready to flow, and we all felt equally prepared to bring on the new year. I was informed to wait outside while she took the chairs down. My husband and I waited outside on the curb for approximately 10 minutes, during which time the chairs were brought down, and our only point of contact to the brunch we were so eagerly anticipating, disappeared into the back of the bar, without any intention to invite us back in. Not wanting to stare or be awkward, we continued to wait on the sidewalk in 35 degree weather, until at 12:15, at which point we decided that we were clearly not wanted as patrons and left the vicinity. We stayed as long because we had been very excited about having brunch at this wonderful establishment that we knew did amazing food and drink. Instead we were met with disdain and rudeness from a family and business that we thought was fun loving and welcoming. I have been very excited for the opening of The Pharmacy and looking forward to a date night out there but I can say now that after the frigid welcome and absolute disgust-ridden experience (we felt as if we were putting them out) we will not return to any business owned by this small conglomerate. read more

Found this restaurant by chance. Nice menu, loved the "American Tapas" theme with a plentiful selection. Nice wine selection as well, with our go-to selection of a German Riesling. read more

Have to say I'm very disappointed in our experience there Friday night. When we asked about some of the craft beers available, the owner behind the bar snapped at my husband "everything is on the board", which was not true. She was not friendly at all and made us feel like we were bothering her. We will think twice before going back. We actually sought this place out because we are craft beer drinkers and we thought this would be right up our alley. Sad to say the service left much to be desired all around. Reading other reviews, it seems that others have had similar issues. Perhaps the owner should take these reviews into consideration and do something about it. read more

Terrible attitudes. Like truly painful. Worse, when I ordered my sliders medium rare they were cooked into complete submission. I have been hit in the teeth with brass knuckles that were softer than the dark gray meat I was served. They do have a good selection of beer, but they didn't seem like they wanted to talk about it, or offer suggestions. I live a couple of blocks away, and I will not return. read more

Being the foodies we are, we decided to go to a place that we may find a diamond in the rough. We'll this isn't it. With inattentive service being its biggest problem and lackluster fare, there was no Wow factor that could ever get me to return. The poor execution behind the various tacos took away from the semi exciting flavors I anticipated and the cute presentation of the plate, by making them cumbersome to eat. The nouveau cuisine portions and prices only increased my blandness for this place. BTW. I write as I sit in another establishment waiting for my meal, 1/2 hour later. read more

Servers are average & uninterested. Person (very young) who was taking plates away - pathetic. I have had Tapas in quite a few places. This place is average at best. Variety also needs to be better. Tapas adds up because you order so many --- you pay lots of money for VERY AVERAGE tapas and lack of originality. AND SERVICE, MEH! read more

They don't do flights. I had terrible service. We were sat by the bus boy, and it took 15 min for the waitress to show up. It was not busy at all. There was only 1 other table. She finally came over and had an attitude and seemed grumpy. After she took our order, we never saw her again. She had the busboy take care of us from there on out. He had no clue about the food on the menu or the beers. The waitress was just hanging out at the bar. The check came in and recommended a 20% tip. I thought that was funny. 25$ tip and you did nothing. Stop read more

Don't order a steak at this place, by far the most expensive thing on the menu, I ordered it medium it was beyond well done. Also the price on the menu didn't match the price on bill. Food was really good and bar staff including Emily and her sister were great. The owner/owners wife Karen was nasty, rude and condescending. Though we live in Newburgh, my parents as well as some friends (all who live in Goshen) had heard about this new eatery that recently opened up serving tapas and craft beers. Checked it out and was very impressed? The menu is quite extensive with many interesting flavor combinations. Keeping up with the whole tapas idea, most of the items on the menu are 'small plate' based, though in saying that portions are sizable. There is a good sized traditional taco menu-I had the chipotle & beer braised short ribs taco, which was delicious, with a good amount of tender meat and chipotle sauce piled on top of a grilled flour tortilla. Crab cakes (coated with corn flakes cereal and lightly fried) with a roasted tomato & chipotle sauce were outstanding, as were the mussels with roasted tomato & chorizo. If you are in the mood for some cold Italian sliced meats & cheeses, try the sopressata or the manchego cheese (served with some great crusty bread), and there's a nice selection of grilled kabobs (scallops, bacon, and apple was a surprising combination). Tuna tartar is extremely fresh and served with a wonderful cucumber slaw with sesame vinagrette. There is also a small slider menu for those wanting little burgers, and Blue Point oysters are also on the menu for $2 each (Wednesdays is $1 oyster day!). Nice selection of craft beers on tap, and the wine list is extensive as well. Dinner for 4 was $150 including tip, and we all walked away very full. If you are not going to do much drinking at Craft 47, you can order a wide variety of different dishes and walk away quite satisfied and not spend a lot of money. We ordered a whole host of items and just shared everything and it worked out well. Service was decent on this evening, but for some reason they weren't able to take credit cards tonight as they were still getting all their electronic services set up. I can totally see this little spot becoming a trendy place to go to in Goshen, as there's nothing really like it in Orange County. We will be back! read more
