We have had good experiences at several other Cracker Barrel locations but recently went to Ridley Park for lunch. Service was unbelievably slow...waited 10 minutes after my drink for a straw...waited 45 minutes for food delivery...food was too salty. We will continue to visit other locations but plan to never return to Ridley Park. read more

The service was good but not the food. No ma'am. Never had bad French toast until this very day. (And don't even get me started on the eggs and sausage) I had a very nice waitress though very attentive. I will not be returning or recommending a friend. read more

I have never tasted the dinner items but the breakfast is great. The cheap price is the icing on the cake. This is where you go for a traditional American breakfast. The grits are ok. The pancakes are supreme. It is only an 8 minute drive from my place. What else could a girl ask for.....well parking and the wait time could be better. Yet, this is no fault of the restaurant but just speaks to the demand. read more

Every time we go to order from Cracker Barrel there is never any hash brown casserole! I literally used to order from them every Sunday. For the past few months (including today) the hash brown casserole is not available. Not sure if it's an ordering problem or what but it's unfortunate. read more

I stopped into the Cracker Barrel store just to get my wife some blackberry jam and the woman at the counter (Cheyenne) searched high and low only to see that it was sold out. Her effort and kindness was very appreciated. Thank you and have a great day!!! read more

The wait was 45 minutes for a party of ten which wasn't bad on a Sunday at 23:15pm. I had the grilled Haddock and it was delicious

Stopped in for a quick lunch special, had the broccoli cheddar chicken with a side of mac and let me tell you: the food was sublime. My partner had pecan pancakes and those were even better than my whole meal! read more

Was seated at a table and was not waited on. After 10 minutes, went to the hostess and said no server came to take our order. After about 25 minutes and going to the hostess a third time, no server came to the table. Got up and left the restaurant in Ridley Park. I would say I had awful service, but there was no service. I would never recommend this location. read more

Lover the biscuits and the peach tea. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. I wouldn't recommend the French Toast but the pancakes are to die for read more

It's Cracker Barrel what more can u ask for? Went with me my two kids and husband food was good the kids ate a ton and they did however mess up my meal but very quickly and happily fixed it close to home. Waitress was very kind and attentive made sure to check on us every so often. She did have a larger party right next to us who got more attention than me and my family but no big deal cuz everything was good and I was taken care of read more

Hostess and check-out were good, but everything else... 9am on a Sunday and only at 50% capacity but waited 10 mins before asking for a server. Forgotten pancake add-on that when it came 15 mins later was cold (ball of butter on top never melted a drop). Cinnamon pancakes had chocolate chips, sent back, was told I was mistaken, they remade, magically without the chocolate chips. We deserved a visit from the manager with all the issues but I guess the server didn't think it appropriate. We paid the full bill and will never come back. We'll eat at Philly Diner or drive to a different Cracker Barrel if we're really craving. Honestly thought they had opened a short while ago and was giving the benefit of the doubt until the woman at check-out told us they've been open a year. read more

If I could review less than 1, I would. The web site said the wait was 5 minutes. When we arrived, we were told the wait was 15 minutes. We ended up waiting 25 minutes before we were seated. After we ordered, we waited 45 minutes for our food. When it finally arrived, it was wrong. Our patience was then expended so we left. I promise to NEVER set foot in a Cracker Barrel again!!!! read more

Not sure how Cracker Barrel only has 2.5 stars. Obviously this is NOT a gourmet restaurant but the quality of food, the atmosphere and ambiance is good. The wait staff are always very friendly and for the price how could one complain?? read more

We love Cracker barrels but this one does not live up to the reputation. Poor service...SLOW! and not very friendly. In addition we stopped in on Thanksgiving. The advertised Thanksgiving dinner said it came with Pumpkin pie. However, we were told, "We ran out of pie by noon." Not a real good experience read more

Was seated by a person who said they was not our waitress. She took our drink orders . Then another person who was not our waitress took our food order. Then another person who brought out our food still not our waitress. The eggs were given to me cold twice. Finally we see our waitress after waiting 15mins for our check. She gives me the wrong bill. My wife got oatmeal which cost $7for what looked like 3 spoons full. I will never return read more

There are a few Bad reviews which almost stopped me from going here today. Fortunately that did not occur. To be a fairly new location my wife and I where extremely pleased from The Hostesses warm friendly Greeting (Oneisha) to the Excellent Excellent waitressing (Imani).......That young lady was at the top of her game making sure we were good anytime she was near us from the time we sat down to when our Food was delivered. Let me not forget the rest of the staff we encountered, The Perfection of the Food exactly the way we ordered, the other staff who assisted were all GREAT!!!! And lastly the Genuine Managers who I shared my experience with........Good Job guys we will return read more

The service was great but the food was not comparable to other chains. The biscuits were barely cooked, chicken was over cooked and it just seemed the food was made straight out of the freezer and into the fryer. Well... what I can say it's Cracker Barrel- maybe I shouldn't have expected so much. Not a good choice overall. Belly ache for days... read more

Good, not great. Fairly average Cracker Barrel experience, but better than all others I've been to. Food was fresh, service was a little slow. The rolls were like buttered hockey pucks. Overall a very good value as far as price and portions go, just nothing really wowed me or anything. read more

One of the worst experiences I had in a long time. Food took extremely long to come out. When we received the food it was cold. We also witnessed more then 4 other customers that had the same experience. read more

Terrible service and food was cold. Won't be going back to this Cracker Barrel. Dishes were also dirty.

Visited last Friday night & everything was great. Food is relatively cheap & came out pretty fast. My fish was awesome & so was the grits. I typically don't like grits either. The waitress I had was really nice & attentive. Overall, good visit. I'll definitely be coming back. read more

The reason why I gave 1 star is because the food wasn't good, there is hardly any space to move or sit, and finally the place is very loud that I couldn't even hear my own conversation. read more

First time here tonight. Our wait was forty minutes but we knew that going in since it just opened. Our waiter was great!! We knew he was new at his job so no complaints here. He would come over and apologize when the for the delay of the food. But like I said we knew that going tonight that is was going to be packed. The food was great!!! Love the decor of the restaurant. The country store is great!! A lot of great Christmas decorations in there. I would go back again maybe not just yet but definitely go back. Hopefully they will get great business. read more

Got seated in the forgotten section. Michelle noticed that I was there for about 10 minutes and picked up my table even if it was not hers. Glass of soda was never empty after that. Which is my benchmark for good service. Had the iron flatten burger. Still like the their traditional burger better. read more

Very very terrible service. Mangers are completely disrespectful. The mangers gave us a attitude when i asked where the bathroom was and had a smart mouth read more

I give it a 4 Star, but I did not. The reason is because they brought my dinner not long after they brought my salad. Had not much room on table and also only took 2 -3 bites of my salad. It was a house salad. They need to give you more time before they bring out dinner, to eat salad or appetizer. read more

After giving this location two tries, it's not the best or the worst. The cat fish had great flavor; however, it was gritty. The corn muffins were not moist and sweet. If you don't like sweet cornbread, you may like them. The grits were gritty and not smooth. The mac and cheese was good. The turnip greens were seasoned perfectly while tough. The biscuits were worm and soft; however, they had a sour taste, and the fried shrimps tasted good but they were more batter than shrimps. The mashed potatoes with gravy were good but the gravy was a little spicy. When money is tight, this is a good place to go. You may get a second meal or snack from the leftovers. read more

It was a sunny afternoon, i was traveling west to visit some cousins in Colorado. I had been traveling for hours and i was running on nothing but spam and cola. I decided to stop off for some real food. I stroll on into the Barrel with my mind set on what i was gonna get. I finally am seated after about a 30 minute wait. My waiter comes over to take my drink order. I say cola. He then leaves and doesnt come back for about another half hour. Im going mad at this point. I decided okay ill let it go. I order the Sunday special. 2 boneless buttermilk fried chicken pieces. 3 sides consisting of mac and cheese, crispy caramelized apple slices, and corn. I wait about 45 minutes for my food to come out. The service was not it today chief. I scarf down my food because my cousins are expecting me by night fall. I buy some sodas for the road and get back out there. About another half hour down the road my stomach starts turning. Im trying to ignore it. Im not sure i cant. Unfortunately for me not a rest area in sight for the next 6 miles. Its now starting to feel like a civil war going on in my insides. You would think rocy balboa and adonis creed were going 12 rounds inside me. Im sweating and trying to concentrate on the road. Finally I approach the rest area. I full out sprint into the bathroom before it runs down my leg. What a battle. I felt like I squeezed out 5 pounds. Dear lord cracker barrel what have you done to me. I really like this place but todays seating just was at an all time low. Beware eating here. read more

so I decide to drive 25 minutes from Phila to pickup a fried chicken family meal from this location ..I get there to pic up my order and the cashier says ..$75??? then he grabs a manager she says the same thing .,,I remind her that the family meal on there web site is $33.99...(other than the single serving fried chicken platter ..the family meal is the only other fried chicken platter on the menu period end of story I have checked twice since....she wanted to redo the order ..take out pieces of chicken yadayada...we all know how fried food gets when its sat too long and her poor explanation and solution was enough for me to walk out...wasted trip ...this place has no integrity...dont bother going there....if this is how management handles customers can you imagine how they handle the cleanliness of there kitchens or the storage of there food ...no thanks... read more

Gave this location time to kinda get its act together and was told they cleaned house and replaced some managers. Because when they first opened up it was called by the local residents "The Crappy Barrel." Just saying. When not much improvement food just well its crappy. My guess is the customers for the most part are coming from the hotels nearby and are one and done diners. When I'm twice and done here and wont be back. Just isn't good every other Cracker Barrel is so much better. This location is still " The Crappy Barrel" to me. read more

I normally love Cracker Barrel. But this one kinda sucks. First off why is there a million managers standing around that do absolutely nothing they definitely overhired. Second they didn't put in all the orders for our table so some of us got our meals and the others didn't get theirs until we were finished eating. Took us a bit to get silverware as well. We asked for coffee several times and didn't get it until the 5th time we asked. Another trip here we went at 9 and could here servers complaining that we came in so late when they don't even close until 10. I guess they just hire anyone that comes in for an interview. read more

I'll give them 1 stars because although our server Diane was nice enough she was very new and not experienced at all. I frequent the area a lot as I usually stop by the Wendy's next door on my way home from work in Center City(lol, I take 291 to avoid 95 traffic) and was super excited to see a Cracker Barrel coming. I had only been to Cracker Barrel once in jersey and it was so good! Tonight my sister and I decided to have a little dinner date and went to the new Cracker Barrel. The place was packed and to be expected on a Friday night for a new restaurant the wait time was about 25 minutes for 2. We get seated and greeted by the server about 5 minutes later. As mentioned above she was nice but new... we got our drink orders pretty quick as did our neighbors that was seated next to us around the same time. We noticed there food came out a good 15-20 minutes before ours as well. When our orders came we had no utensils or napkins and one of my sisters sides were missing so we had to wait another 5 minutes to flag down a waitress to get that and what do you know!! The food is now cold. I didn't complain, I tried to be understanding as we had a new server and it's busy I get it but I wasn't pleased at all. None the less the food we ordered tasted alright and even placed a Togo order for the Friday fish special. Now this is where poor Diane's tip disappeared. I ordered the fish special with pinto beans and Mac and cheese and a family side of fried okra, my sister orders the same but had fried okra and Mac and cheese for the sides. Our orders came, we checked the bags and I saw I had 3 side containers! I got excited because I love fried okra so I thought the family size that I ordered was really family size! But that wasn't the case, they only put the Mac and cheese in the to go container with the fish and two side containers had okra one was the pinto beans. I was okay well, whatever. But my sister had one side and no side containers. We flagged down Diane and said we were missing a side. My sister literally had one okra on her platter. Diane walked away and came back with some other lady that asked if she could check our bags to make sure we had everything. I was taken aback because if I say I'm missing a side to go at red lobster or Olive Garden they apologize and give me my side. But I complied because I mean it's just food and we didn't have a reason to lie! my sister didn't get her side so look, this is my order. So the lady is so caught up saying one side is mine and the other is my sisters that the server had to come back and reiterate that I asked for a family size side and Diane asked her about it. So at this point 2 servers at the table looking in our bags and I felt they should've just brought out the damn okra! Now what Diane did was just put one side on my bill because as a new server she rang me up the way she knew especially since she asked the trainer or whoever she was about the family size side and she didn't tell her how to ring me up. We couldn't leave until she changed my check to add another 2.79 for my "family size" okra and even had the nerve to ask for the old slip so she could crumple it up! I felt like as a person of a particular color and size we were made to feel like we were trying to steal food or "get over" on a extra side of 2.79 okra... not a good feeling when we remained pleasant and understanding throughout but the whole time they were acting like we did something wrong when in reality your server wasn't qualified enough in her 3 days of working to be on a busy Friday shift..I won't be back.. Jersey is a little farther but I would rather go there. They didn't check my bags and treat me like I'm trying to deceive to steal food. read more
