Great lunch best salmon in town

Same lunch 2 days in a row. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Best salmon In town.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Great service. Clean restaurant friendly server.

    Close up of dead beatle

We chose the Friday Fish Special online for delivery as we had done in the past. [[HIGHLIGHT]]My wife opened her Cole slaw and as she put her fork in it she found a dead black Beatle in it.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Disgusting. I sent a photo to Crackerbarrel corporate. Used to be a fan for years. No more. Beware. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The quality control has taken a back seat.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Sad. No more Crackerbarrel for us. To many other restaurants to choose from.

Cracker Barrel standard is there. You know exactly what you will get for your money. Good service. Although, Saturday lunch time, it was a long line, we were seated earlier then we were told. A Manager brought me a cup of coffee that I asked for while we were waiting. Ambiance is standard for the Cracker Barrel chain restaurants. Everyone in our party of five loved their breakfast order

20 min wait on a Monday at 12:45pm for a table for 1 person! Many empty tables in the restaurant. Learn how to properly staff!

Normally that's enough to make me reconsider brunch, but after eating here, I'd happily do it again. We were seated outside on an incredibly hot day, and our server--lovingly known as "Slacker"--absolutely earned a shoutout. He somehow managed to keep our table of indecisive food-sharers organized, never let our water glasses get empty, and made the whole experience feel relaxed instead of rushed. The only disappointment? They had already run out of gravy, which meant no biscuits and gravy for us. (My heart still hasn't fully recovered.) Instead, we leaned into sharing everything else. The fried green tomatoes absolutely lived up to the hype, the OG Bennie was fantastic, the avocado toast was fresh and flavorful, and because apparently self-control wasn't invited to brunch, we finished with the white chocolate bread pudding pancakes for "dessert." No regrets. Great food, fantastic service, and a perfect stop while exploring downtown Franklin. Just do yourself one favor... Get there early if biscuits and gravy are calling your name.

Diced potatoes had very little seasoning, and were room temp. Bacon was room temp/clearly cooked a few hours prior. Pancakes were okay. Maybe we arrived late/mid-morning, after everything was cooked/just seemed to miss the mark.

I walked in, glanced at the menu for approximately 2.7 seconds, and knew exactly what destiny had in store for me: the Salted Queen Caramel Latte. (Yes ma'am. Royalty in a cup.) I placed my order with a young lady who was polite, friendly, and engaging, the kind of person who makes you feel like you've been coming there for years, even if you just figured out where to stand. Five-star customer service before the caffeine even hit. Seating options? Oh, they've got you covered. You can sit outside upstairs and pretend you're in a Hallmark movie, or stay inside where it's cool and comfortable. We chose inside. The high-top table had USB ports and electrical plugs, which is a classy move. Nothing says "we care" like letting people charge their phone while they charge their soul. And yes, there's WiFi if you feel the need to actually work instead of just looking productive. Then I heard it, my name called out like I'd just won a prize. I stepped forward... and met my Salted Queen Caramel Latte. Wow. It was better than expected. Smooth. Rich. Perfectly balanced. I took one sip and this Old GOAT almost fainted. Which is ironic... because that's exactly where we were. If you live in Franklin and haven't tried The Fainting Goat Coffee, you're missing out. Go meet the Queen. Just be prepared... you might faint.

The warm, inviting vibe immediately drew me in. Since I was dining solo, I was able to grab a seat at the bar, which the hostess kindly pointed out was available. Considering the restaurant was packed and there was a long wait for tables, I was more than happy to skip the wait and settle right in. Behind the bar, the team was hustling, expertly balancing both coffee and cocktail orders while keeping things moving efficiently. I was greeted right away, handed a menu, and after a few minutes decided on an iced lavender latte and the lemon poppyseed waffle. My server offered a few side options, but I had a feeling the waffle would be more than enough. The lavender latte was fantastic, perfectly balanced with just the right amount of lavender syrup. It was flavorful without being overpowering and made for a refreshing start to the meal. Then came the waffle. The presentation alone was impressive; it looked more like a piece of art than a breakfast dish. Naturally, my phone had to eat first. But once I finally took that first bite, I understood what all the hype was about. The lemon flavor was subtle, bright, and refreshing, while the poppy seeds baked into the waffle added both texture and depth. Honestly, it was one of the best waffles I've ever had. Every bite was delicious, and it's a dish I'll be thinking about long after this visit. If you're looking for a standout breakfast in a lively atmosphere, Two Hands is absolutely worth the stop.
