Love this country setting with family dining experience! Always reminds me of my childhood when I go there.

On 4/10 went to Conway CB for brunch. Ordered breakfast. Wife ordered eggs over medium well. Eggs came under done, so we sent them back. Received back eggs, yokes broken and all cooked together as thin as a tortilla, like the cook was mad and was going to show us. Well, I guess they did. I didn't take it out on the waitress though, left her the usual tip. Should have shown the eggs to the manager but didn't see one in sight. Unpleasant experience. Won't be back soon. read more

Day after Christmas shopping with my mom called for a lunch break and visit to the store. Restaurant was busy, but we were seated right away. Love all the antique decor, interesting to see. Service was great and food was delicious. Didn't realize my meal would come with fries, so I took those home along with some of the hush puppies and biscuits. Lots of food and some great deals in the store on AR Razorback gear. read more

Easy to find just off the highway. Lots of handicap parking as well as regular parking. We were seated immediately. They were able to accommodate us, one in our group just had surgery and required a little more leg room. Our drink order was taken as soon as we sat down and delivered in a very timely manner. Unfortunately, our waitress didn't have a name tag but she was very attentive and polite. Food was delivered hot and cooked perfectly. We were all served at the same time so we were able to enjoy our food together. I had pancakes, scrambled eggs and hashbrown casserole. Pancakes were still hot and did not disappoint. Scrambled eggs were hard cooked as requested and hashbrown casserole was perfectly seasoned. Serving sizes large enough none of us left hungry. We were able to pay through a QR code at the table instead of standing in a long line at the cash register. I would definitely visit again if I lived here. If you ever visit Conway, give them a try. We shared the Camp Fire chicken. It was wrapped in foil with potatoes, carrots and corn on the cob. Very good. $14.49. Samantha waited on us and she was absolutely amazing. She is a keeper. My wife & I came here for lunch. Our server Ian was friendly and helpful. The food actually tasted better than it looked. The roast beef looked dried out with gravy smothered on it, but it was actually moist and tasty. The fish was bland so we could flavor it ourselves. I know people are upset over the logo change, but I think that is just a smokescreen for a tremendous menu change that raised prices tremendously. During a recent visit for breakfast we got "new" menus. Yup, the entree pricrs were higher but they also did something very very sneaky. Now, all but four side dishes are an extra charge! So, unless you are an aficionado of paper thin tomato slices, you will almost certainly have to fork over even more money for some dumplings etc. Cracker Barrel has crossed over into the Definitely Not Worth It category. I gave them another chance and it was the same sorry service. Called in an order to go, and had to get the manager to make my order 50 minutes later. What good is it to call ahead and they don't make you order until you get there. They suck!!!! This particular store just doesn't cut it. Different manager, same results. Visited Cracker Barrel for lunch on New Year's Day with family. Restaurant was packed when we got there around 1:00PM. Put our names on waiting list and within about 15 minutes we were seated! Our server was at our table very shortly after being seated. We ordered very quickly and food arrived in a very reasonable time. Everyone really enjoyed their food and our sever did an excellent job!! We normally eat at local restaurants, but many were closed for the holidays. It was a great experience and we will certainly return!! read more

After driving 12 hrs from Virginia. I stopped at cracker barrel for a good meal. They sat me immediately. Why I gave this place a 1 star is while I was sitting there server just looked at me and said nothing. Same time the server that I would have had was busy. No fault to the server. What made me get up and walk was what I believe to be the manager that looked at me but said nothing to me until I got up and walked out. He chased me down and offered a drink. First thing he did was wrong to not immediately come to the table and just say your server is busy at the moment can I start you off with a drink or appetizer. Ode to the Barrel: Where you know what to expect and you usually aren't disappointed! This location is pretty consistent. I've visited twice and in two visits I most enjoyed the latter. I'm finding that at Cracker Barrels near and far, I have had my best experiences when my server is a vet! I know we've all got to start somewhere, but I've been burned by "rising stars" in the past and I've paid my dues! I'm partial to breakfast with fresh hash brown casserole, and biscuits with strawberry jam at CB! Love it, mean it! My last Cracker Barrel for this road trip was a lunch stop in Conway. I arrived at the end of the brunch rush, so I was told that there was a 15 minute wait that was actually 10. My waitress was prompt and got my order immediately as I was ready when she came by. Sweet tea refilled twice before my food order came out. And lunch was exactly as I ordered it. Grilled catfish (very hot!) with mac & cheese and mac & cheese (hey, I like it so I have two orders of it!) and broccoli with two cornbread loaves that I took with me for the road. Good, tasty home-cookin' food with pleasant, efficient servers. This was pretty much the epitome of a good breakfast place--especially here in the south! I had the steel cut oats with toast, and I shared most of the toast with my son. The oats were nicely done and the fruit mixed in was really good; I didn't even need to add milk. My husband had a platter with hashbrowns, biscuits, and gravy, as it is a requirement to eat gravy with at least one meal a day while in Arkansas. I am probably never going to eat here again. This was always my favorite place when we dined in. Tonight we got food from here delivered by Uber eats. We opened the bag to find no silverware or syrup, that our meal requested us put what we wanted. My chicken had two pieces instead of one I'm assuming that's bc they had been sitting made for some time it was chewy lukewarm, the hash brown tater tots that I guess replaced the casserole were cold and greasy the only thing edible was my potatoes and biscuit. I probably still wouldn't have left such a terrible review but when my daughter found a hair in her pancakes I was livid. I love Cracker Barrel but today I got very disappointed. Went for late lunch (1:15 pm), and the place had few customers. After 45 min waiting for our food we had to stand up to ask what was going on (the waitress didn't show up during that time). Later, the food came COLD. We talked to the manager and she wasn't very friendly at all. I hope they improve their service because I love this food chain. read more

Ordered online and it was horrible. Ordered almost $80 worth of food only to get home and be missing the dozen of biscuits and cobbler. Called the store immediately and returned to have them offer me 2 single servings of cobbler and a slice of cake in place of a $14.99 pan of cobbler. I am okay with mistakes but the manager took the receipt from my son saw I had paid $14.99 and thought he would get away with trying to deceive us. I know what I ordered and how much I paid. We returned the 3 single servings of dessert and got our money back. What a rude and deceptive way to treat customers spending that amount of money. Zero stars would be correct. Two times in the last 3 months I have placed an order by phone and the store tried to RIP me off. Ordered 2 lunches at 2:07 p.m. set pickup at 2{30. Got there at 2{25 went in, got in line and when it was my turn to pay she said it would be $28. .6.50 X 2 is $13 plus 2 cokes should have been $21- $22 dollars.
