This was our first time here. We decided to have lunch over here since we skipped breakfast. The restaurant was very welcoming when we came inside. The hostesses at the door were sweet and cheerful when they welcomed us and it was great. We quickly were seated over in the bar area. Within moments our waitress welcomed us. I believe her name was Jax? I'm sorry it wasn't on the receipt. Anyway she was great. So friendly and helpful. We got the buffalo chicken street tacos and the catfish street tacos and they were both amazing. The catfish was cooked perfectly and was so delicious. The restaurant has a great vibe to it. Very casual, kind of a sports bar but not hardcore sports bar. Feels more like a brew pub that has sports on tv than anything else. We would come back here again. I will be honest, this place has an awesome menu. We will be back again. But the Mac n cheese is not good lol. Just don't order the Mac n cheese. As a meal baked it is very dry and not saucy. As a side item it is cheesy but bland, no seasoning. Everything else was delicious! The portions are huge. My fiancé got the bbq nachos (without any veggies lol) and the prob size is massive as you see. Pretty huge. I ordered spicy shrimp tacos and not pictured a side of close slaw that I put on top of them. Definitely recommend combining the coke slaw with the shrimp tacos, I feel like it should come on them but they come pretty plain as is. Together was so good and I will order this again. The server was nice. The place is decent size and they get really busy so it's a popular spot. Just know if you come at a a busy time you will probably have a wait. My family and I stopped in here after visiting my sister in college. This was my first time being to this restaurant but my family had been here once before. Total time here: 1 hour 4 min Time when Queso arrived: 25 min Time when main courses arrived: 12 min after the Queso (37 min into the visit) Number of times we were checked on: 11 times The wait time is the reason this place gets a 4 star from me. If they weren't so attentive it would be 3 stars, but everything was good besides the time. I ordered the chicken quesadillas with water. There were so many! I couldn't eat them all but I highly recommend them. They have a little kick to them and go really good with the salsa. Picky eaters might not like them because they're kinda "spicy" but if that does not bother you then you'll love them. 5/5 for the chicken quesadillas! The waitstaff was very considerate and thinking ahead by asking us if we needed small plates for the Queso we ordered before it got to our table. He even explained that they were understaffed tonight and apologized for our long wait times for food. 5/5 for being so awesome The music inside was upbeat pop/EDM and almost felt like it was rushing you. I'm not sure if this was to make people get out quickly or for the waitstaff to move quickly - which was a comment my family made. Hello! I hope all is well. Last night we were at your establishment and it was the worst experience ever!! It was my sister's birthday and we were all out celebrating that. We had a table of 18-20! 1. We had to wait over an hour to be seated. I know you don't do reservations but we did have our name in the list for a table at 8!. I understand that most of our party had to be there before we can be seated! However we had over that amount, we told them and we still had to wait. (There wasn't NO sense of urgency) We were told that they were waiting on a table to leave. (When I left this table was still seated!!! And from what I was told they had issues with their food as well!) 2. After waiting 30 more minutes. I went and advised the hostess that I had found us a table and could they combine them so we can have enough room! She said yes! 3. Once we were seated, it was just problem after problem with the food and drinks! We sent so many entrees back due to being cold, wrong, and the chicken for the chicken and waffle was over cooked! (Burnt) They advised that they would recook the chicken and waffles! And the waitress started handed out tickets! Everyone didn't have their entrees! How do you hand someone a ticket and they don't have their food!? We did have some asking for their tickets because they were over it and ready to go! And to be honest I'm not sure if they ever got the chicken and waffle because I just couldn't take anymore! I left! This is not the Brick and Forge that I know. And this made me say "I don't think I will EVER come back' and everyone at the table agreed. I drove from Little Rock for this when I could've went some where else! And not wasted my time. My first time in Arkansas and I managed to make my way towards Conway to meet with a family member from the area. She said this restaurant was her favorite spot in Conway so we decided to eat here for lunch. Upon entrance, I immediately felt welcomed by the staff due to how kind they were. The place seemed to already be kind busy even with them opening up just 15 minutes before. After some consideration, I decided to start with their BBQ nachos as an appetizers. Everything on the nachos was delicious, except the chips were similar to wonton strips which meant they just kinda broke easily. They serve brunch on weekends so I opted for a Sunrise Burger. The burger came with just about every topping including an egg, bacon, and hash brown which tasted delicious. The home fries the meal came with were also delicious. All in all, I'm glad to have tried this place as it was a wonderful experience. The kindness of the staff and quality food were a great start to the day. I understand why this was my family member's favorite place to try and hope others will enjoy it too. read more
