Was disappointed this time on the pies I got (peach & blackberry ). The crust was way too greasy but the blackberry filling was good . Probably didn't have the oil hot enough because that usually makes it greasier . Maybe a different cook made the pies. We were on our way to Texarkana and stopped for a snack. They have burgers & fries, but we came in for fried pies. So many flavors to choose from! You have to be patient bc they take about 10 minutes to be made to order. Our pie flavors: blackberry, apricot, chocolate, & pina colada. The fruit fillings contained lots of fruit and the chocolate had a nice flavor. The bathrooms aren't great & could use a bit of an update, but that's understandable. One little bit of advice I will give you is watch your mouth if you are eating them as soon as you get them, as the filling can still be red hot even if the crust doesn't feel that hot. The burger was nothing special. I was asked what I wanted on it and it was not made correctly. Specifically the cashier quoted back "no tomatoes" and there were tomato's on it. Also, to the owner, please modify your card reader presets by removing the suggested tip option. How are you gonna ask for a tip before the order is even processed? If I paid cash would you ask me to give a tip up front? I won't ever stop here again unless the owner confirms they changed that practice.
