the last two times I've ordered their signature pizza here, they messed it up. 1st time they "forgot about it" left it in the oven and burnt it. 2nd time they gave my hot pizza to a different customer and gave me the special order pizza that customer ordered with different ingredients. both times they offered to cook me another one while I waited in the drive through but I couldn't wait (no discount offered). decent food but good luck getting what you ordered!! read more

Seat yourself and enjoy friendly service and country-cooking! Steaks and home-fried faves fill the simple menu, with sweet tea and desserts to fill your tummy! I loved my Country-Fried-Steak (same thing as chicken-fried-steak), with green beans and mashed potatoes. Ordered a simple dinner-salad to start me off, but there were also meaty meal-type salads on the menu. My wife enjoyed her loaded baked-potato, and she LOVED the caramel apple-pie dessert! Oh my goodness. The food was amazing and the service outstanding! When we walked in at almost 1pm, the parking lot was full and there wasn't an empty table to be seen. Everything is homemade. We ordered their pizza. It was loaded. Crust was thin and crispy. The homemade chili was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend this restaurant. read more

We were looking for the Western Sizzler but unfortunately they have closed down. It was getting late and we did NOT want fast food as we were traveling to Branson, MO and wanted some home cooked southern supper. My mama spotted this place off the side of the road and DUUUUUDE!!! We were MORE than pleased with the friendly, fast hometown service and the hamburger steak and fresh salad was OUT OF THIS WORLD!!! Do yourself a favor and STOP in for a meal here! Microwave used on mashed potato's and gravy. Hot as heck. Wanted to like it. Server appeared put out and confused.

In town visiting BFF and help with Junkin At The Lake at Greers Ferry, (2nd weekend in Oct 2021). Went to Ropers for steaks. My wife had grilled chicken and veges while I had filet and loaded baker (large). All was very good flavor and taste. Ropers is not a steakhouse but a well rounded restaurant from pizzas (looked and smelled fantastic at the next table). Can't wait for next year's Junkin at Greers Ferry to return to This restaurant. read more

Not much on menu I had the BLT hard to believe you can mess that up the bacon had a old cold grease flavor priced to high also the baked potato was ok but you can do that at home no problem lol I hear there pizza is good but I would be definitely ready to leave if it wasn't my friend had a reg hamburger said it was no better the McDonald's so go at your own risk and enjoy? read more

Tried to call in an order while we were on our way to the restaurant. The lady on the other line took down my order with no issues, then when I said it was for dine in. She said no we don't do that. I asked since when? She said we can't do that unless you pay over the phone. I said I was ok with paying over the phone. Then she said she would have to get her manager because they can't do that. I told her that she just said they could if I paid over the phone, and I didn't mind doing that. Then she start yelling at me that they can't do that and started and rant on why can't do it because customers are terrible and don't pay. I cancelled my order. read more

My wife and I stopped at the Conway Ropers and as soon as we sat down and opened the menu, we got up and left. We have never seen prices as high as this. I'm sure the food is as good as the Ropers in Beebe. I think the high prices are set according to the locations. Conway is much bigger than Beebe. My favorite thing to eat at Ropers is Hamburger Steak, Baked potato and salad. Never fails. My husband's favorite is chicken fried steak mashed potatoes and salad. Our grandson and youngest granddaughter said the grilled cheese was almost as good as GiGi's. read more

Had a bad experience tonight with Ropers in Greenbrier, AR. Love their pizza but tonight they were way off. We walked in and placed a to go order. The waitress kept coming by our table telling us the pizza was almost ready. We ended up waiting an hour for our food and when it finally came, it was cold. It was obvious that the food had been ready for some time, however the waitress never felt the need to bring it to us. I can only guess we upset her somehow with our presence. Even when I told the cashier that the pizza was cold, she just looked at me and said, "that'll be $28.83". I recommend you don't order pizza to go. Call it in or order the special. People who came in after us and who were served before us seemed to be treated better. read more

If you are looking for some legit country cooking, this is definitely the place to go! The fried okra is delicous and you get a huge portion! The onion ring appetizer is really great too, and quite large as well. My boyfriend got a big hamburger that he really enjoyed. Our waitress was really friendly and very quick to refill our drinks. Have been eating here for years. Had good food and the service was good. However, Tuesday, we ordered a pizza (one our favorite items on the menu). Arrived a bit early, expecting to have to wait. We were given a pizza that had, obviously, been around for a while (12 minutes had elapsed). The pizza was Luke warm only, as if it had been sitting out for a while, not fresh from the oven. Condiments we, specifically requested were not included. I understand an off night, but this is inexcusable. I will go elsewhere in the future. read more

Usually their steaks are good. Tonight I ordered a 1/4 lb cheeseburger. Pricey and the meat was nothing more than a frozen patty I could buy in a box at Sams or Walmart. Disappointing coming from a steak restaurant. Equate that burger to Burger King ‍ read more

Ropers is our go to when we want pizza. The best sauce and crust is just perfect. Make it a stop when heading up Hwy 65.

We showed up 20 minutes before closing and the crew still gave us great service. They were all friendly, helpful, courteous. The food was great. Get the loaded chicken if it's available. The kids chicken tender meal came with more than my grandsons could eat. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and will come back. We passed on the dessert because we didn't want to keep the crew any longer than they needed. But we'll be back for the key lime pie. read more
