It's been years since I've been to ihop and our visit was picked by my son. Restaurant was clean and staff was very friendly and helpful. The seats in our booth could have been a bit more roomier but I managed. We had chicken and waffles and breakfast samplier with chocolate chips added to my pancake. All was cooked perfect and tasted great. The over all cost was a bit much. Wasn't expecting to pay $50 (including tip) for breakfast but the food was good. Next time we'll have to figure out how to cut down that price like skipping the $3.50 sodas. read more

Well we didn't have to wait to be seat cuz it was super dead in here. We placed our order at 735pm and they brought out my appetizer at 815pm. So far I haven't had the best experience. My food is cold and it don't look good at all. They finally brought my food out at 816pm and my daughter waited until 817pm. A min after mine. Love this place. You can order breakfast any time and my go to is the breakfast sampler. Their coffee is decent and they bring you a thermos to your table. Burgers are also good and they run 6 dollar meal deals daily. Between the one at Carrollton and Douglasville i've really never had a bad meal. Fries and hashbrowns perfect every time. read more

Went here on 24 Feb 2024. Have visited this location before and I really enjoyed myself. Even thought being extremely busy my food was Excellent, the service was fantastic as well as the waiter kept us advised on the time for our food. Terrible! Sat 10 min before a waitress can ti take drink order. The table next to me asked about their food. The waitress had to ask again what they ordered. ANOTHER 10 minutes passed before my table received drinks. Table next to me still had not received their food. I asked how long had they been waiting. They stated an hour. We left IMMEDIATELY! We waited until 11:35 and at that time the large tables food was served and we had been told multiple times that our food should be out shortly. I did not select a star OK it won't let me post without a star review just because I gave them a one star they got a zero cause they don't deserve any at all I can't comment on the food at all because the server never showed up we sat there for 20 minutes she came to the tables around us, looked at us and walked off never once took a drink order because I have a special-needs daughter that was coughing. It's part of her condition. She is not sick at all they would not even take our drink order after 20 minutes we had to get up and leavebecause we didn't have drinks at that point the food on a good day is basic and not worth it but we were trying to have a family day and they were rude. We stopped here because all the area restaurants had a 1 hour wait time- Saturday morning at 10 am. I was able to bling the waitlist at IHOP through this app We waiter about 20 minutes for a table-they have a max occupancy for the new regulations so we had to wait for people to leave. Once seated our drinks were served quickly and our order taken. Kids worked on kid menus while adults visited. Our food was out in less than 15 minutes, all hot and tasty! Everyone got what they wanted and had plenty to eat. Our server was very nice and checked on us just enough to keep drinks filled and bring extra napkins. They are social distancing and doing what they can to keep things clean-there is no flavored syrup at this time, just original. Ketchup, salt, and pepper are in individual portions-no bottles or shakers on the table. All in all we had an excellent experience here with their breakfast menu. read more

We were served by a young girl named kayla H who although polite and friendly was very scatty and couldnt get the order right. I think she might have just started and was still finding her feet so will let her off. The bearded dishwasher was in better spirits though, friendly cheerful and funny. BLUF - Waffle House is right up the street so I suggest going there. Overall the service was terrible. We came during Labor Day. At 0830 they did not have waffle batter made, no creamer for their coffee (2% was offered instead), no water was offered along with no checkups, and the server forgot multiple items on our order albeit they did not charge us for said items. The restaurant was not terribly busy but more and more people were coming in which showed me the service would only get worse. On top of all of that every table around us experienced terrible service. One couple had paid their bill with the manager and the manager did not bring back their change so they just left. We will NOT come back to this IHOP. read more

I have been to this location several times on different days of the week. There are never a ton of people there and it still takes forever and a day to get seated. Sometimes it takes that long to even get /acknowledged/. Which is frustrating. Getting drinks after being seated usually doesn't take that long. But once the order is placed it takes anywhere from thirty to forty five minutes for it to actually come. (Which, is fine. Food takes time to prepare, they have to go orders to fulfill, etc.) But after the food has been given the waitress drops off the check after about fifteen minutes and is obviously ready for us to leave. Visited IHOP today, Christmas Eve 2020 for breakfast. What a pleasant surprise! We were immediately seated by the gentleman that was greeting customers (I did not get his name). Our server Daniele was very pleasant, took excellent care of her customers and we very much enjoyed her serving us. The food was delicious. Everyone working at the restaurant this morning was pleasant and we enjoyed our visit! We will be back! read more

This IHOP does have a bad reputation for slow service, but the omelets and pancakes are really good.

Love this place; probably went here more than any other time in my four years at Hendrix. Great pancakes/omelettes. Moreso, though a great place to go and study, or have a late night conversation w/ friends, or to chow down after a long night of drinking.
