First of all, the staff and the atmosphere is great !! We are recently retired and eat out or get take out about 4 nights a week, Colton's is my fav for Chicken fried chicken, their great salads w/ chicken tenders or Fried Catfish dinner and my husband loves a good steak. However, that NEVER happens when he orders one from Colton's. He ordered the 12 oz Ribeye for a second time in a month. ($27.99) Pitiful. NO flavor, tough and not at all like the 'description'. I'm sure we will continue to eat there since it is only a mile from our house BUT steak will not be on his plate. Let me add, the Catfish dinner last night was GREAT. I also enjoy The Turkey Club, Loaded Baked potato soup (I never order soup except at Coltons and it's the Loaded Potato.) their hamburgers are huge and fantastic as well as their Turkey Club or My husbands favorites, the "Loaded" Chicken, the Hawaiian Chicken and the Sirloin Tips. Never any complaints when we order these. We are not giving up on Colton's just would like a tender, flavorful steak. read more

This place is really good I love the midwestern AKA wild West theme in here but the employees do make some mistakes sometimes one time I asked for medium well and they brought me medium rare so I sent it back and they brought it back and it was just a little different but it was consumable the sirloin steak tips are really good that's when I get every time I come here and I really like it here I recommend it just know that the employees might mess up sometimes! And there's some moderate noise in here but if you just ignore it you won't think about it. read more

You might think it's wild west to see some of the decor on the walls and within the restaurant, but it's really just a wild time with great food and fantastic service! This past Sunday, I attended a baseball tournament with my son's team. Afterward, the entire team went out to eat with our team and their families at Colton's steakhouse in Cabot Arkansas. The service was outstanding. I was amazed at the ease with which our waiter seemed to be able to handle a very large group. He was prompt and accurate in all of his work, and he was very courteous when dealing with each of us, kids included! The food was fantastic. My wife and I came in on a Saturday, we walked up to the hostess carrying our Great Grandchild she is 1yr old, we followed the hostess to our table she set the silverware down at a booth and without turning to us and Quickly left , we stood there holding our grandchild with no booster seat well I'm 64 my wife is 60 it's harder for us to feed and take care of this child in a booth , so I moved our silverware to a table across from the booth and walked up to the hostess and asked for a high chair which I saw a family seated at a table with their child with a high chair . When I returned to the table The lead Hostess says to me the next time you come her you need to make sure that you tell us if you move to a table I'm like excuse me but I have a Child and a booth is not the prime seating arrangement for eating . Pissed me off. If you are going to hire children to manage your restaurant without any regard for a paying customer. Nice clean place. Waitstaff was very good and prompt even with it being Valentine's Day. Food was the issue. Myself and another at my table had the 12 oz Ribeye and it was tough with lots of gristle. Let me start with my server.. she was absolutely LOVELY!!! I ordered Sirloin tips Med/rare with steamed veggies and house salad.. my steak was way over cooked and most likely microwaved. Told the server Jericho it was not done right she took the dish and came back a few min later with what I think was the same plate.. Again NOT her fault. When she came back to check in I told her I wasn't going to eat this dish it was over cooked and very salty. She said no problem and said I will take it off.. so far so good.. she came back and said the manager asked for the plate to prove I didn't eat it. Wierd, but ok . She then came back and said the mgr would only take 10.00 off rather than the entire dish. Because my veggies and side salad was eaten. What?? Ok well it is what it is.. NOT ONCE did that manager come to the table she just kept sending the server to do his/her dirty work. ( literally part of managements job not the sweet little teenager just doing her best) I ended up just paying the bill and made sure to leave a nice little note to our server with her tip. Food is delicious and well seasoned. My steak is always cooked perfectly. All side dishes are delicious and my favorite are the loaded mashed and asparagus. I haven't had bad service here ever. People are genuinely kind and sweet. They even let us know if our food is going to be a little longer or what not. Prompt service without being overbearing. We ducked into Colton's for a nice reprieve from the snowstorm that bombarded us on our way to the LR airport. It was just as good as any other Colton's establishment. I enjoyed my trip to Colton's on 29 April 2021 which was the first time I've been to any Colton's. The dinner started with warm, soft bread rolls with a sweet butter. Yummy! I had the smoked sirloin. It came with corn plus two sides. While the sirloin was a little overcooked vs how I ordered it, it was delicious with a rich smoky flavor. The portions were healthy and at a good price though no military discount. The staff was very friendly but not wearing masks. It feels too soon to go without a mask. read more

Two of us went to Colton's, Tuesday, Dec 3, and had an awesome visit. One of us had the gilled mesquite salmon; I had the sirloin tips. For an appetizer we shared the salmon dip (whoa, this was the absolute best salmon, smoked ball). But this review, although the food was the absolute best, is about our server, Hannah! Hannah was amazing, always available when needed, not overbearing, just an incredible server. Pleasant, professional, and sweet! Great attributes about Hannah. They do not serve fresh grilled chicken anymore on the salads anymore. Instead, you get a fake grill-marked clump of solidified chicken goo, and it's gross. You can tell it's microwaved. The waitress was great, tho! read more

We had a group of 4 and had eaten here before back in 2016. This location has a large parking lot and inside is plenty of room to move around. As we waited on our table, we found a place near the old wooden barrel that had peanuts still in the shell. There is something fun about passing time while busting open peanut shells, popping the nuts into your mouth, and then dropping the empty shells on the floor. Our table was ready after about 25 peanut shells. I was impressed by the staff and how much care and concern they showed while taking care of us and the other patrons. Our wait staff were very good even with a full restaurant. Multiple people took care of us and we never had to flag anyone down. The menu has lots of options and we ordered a wide variety in multiple courses. The hot rolls were very good and the honey was very tasty.The diner salads were the perfect size and had a good mix within them. The main courses were timed perfectly and all were satisfied with how they tasted. I absolutely loved my ribeye as it was flavorful, smoked just right and cooked exactly how I ordered it. Service to keep drinks topped was good except one time and extra butter for a potato took a bit long. The desserts were good. The bread pudding I had was almost a bit chewy, but the ice cream made it really good! read more

We had the BEST waitress today at Cabot Coltons! Kelly was super polite- she apologized and said 'excuse my reach' EVERY time she placed a cup or plate on the table! No one does that any more! Cabot Coltons I am in Arkansas visiting my husbands family. His Nana took me out to her favorite spot for a lunch date - I found myself at Colton's. ***this experience is during COVID-19** The hostess was personable and seated us quickly. Our waitress popped over immediately to take our drink orders. The restaurant was moderately busy - we did get there before the church crowd so no wait time. I order the smoked turkey club and it was delicious! It came with a chipotle-like sauce on the side which I drizzled over my turkey. The sandwich is huge! Could definitely be split with someone. I had two people stop me on their way out to ask how the sandwich was because they thought it looked so tasty. If I hadn't been a lunch date I would have snapped a photo! Everyone working was extremely friendly and by the time we were leaving a little after 12 pm there was a 5 minute wait time with a steady stream of customers rolling in. My wife tonight had their catfish plate. For $15.99 you expect something other then frozen fillers that are reheated. It was all breading , very fishy and just not worth that price. If you are going to charge that price then serve fresh fillers breaded. Frozen all breaded ones is $7 bucks at Walmart. Her fries were soggy and the coleslaw was warm. We went with a party of 19 this week and I could not have been more pleased with our experience. First, Caitlyn, our sever gave some of the best service I've ever gotten at a restaurant, much less for a large party. Everything came out at the same time, our food was hot, our drinks stayed filled. I was very impressed. Second, the whole restaurant was decorated for Christmas, which honestly wasn't my thing, but my kids enjoyed it. Third, the food was very good. Lettuce in the salad was wilting, steak was underseasoned and not cooked right, and the blackened salmon had such a fishy taste as if it had been left in the back of the refrigerator for a while. I was visiting Cabot from Maryland to see my grandma. I picked up some takeout from Colton's after seeing good reviews on Google. The reviews weren't wrong! We got a Bloomin Onion, Fried Pickles, Ribs and Catfish, and Hawaiian Chicken. It was all delicious. The meals also came with smashed potatoes, mac and cheese, fried okra, hush puppies, coleslaw, and 4 rolls with butter; all were great. We are extremely happy! read more

We had dinner 8/23/2020 Sunday evening every thing we had was excellent. I had the Blacken Salmon very tasty cooked correctly my Daughter-in law had the bourbon Salmon again excellent. Everything I've ever gotten here, I've loved it. Their lunch menu price level is the same as a fast food joint, but so so much better. Their dinner menu has much to choose from. The steaks are great... but my favorite is their Bourbon Bacon Salmon. Yes, the fish... at a steakhouse, is my favorite. It's that cool. Great healthy sides. Their fillet is awesome.
