The service was horrible, workers were talking about us behind our back and got mad at us when we asked for the ice cream we paid for them gave a group of boys around 15 ice cream cones for free and letting them get however much they want. And everyone they walk beside us they give us weird look. And gives us barely any fry's when we act for more. read more

I'm cooking the burger to well done now on my own stove and I have to put my own vegetables from home to make my food David's way because of them messing up my order it's not David's way it's not well done and they offered to swap it out but it would be an inconvenience to drive from north Little Rock back to Cabot just to swap my meal before my kids recital. So I don't recommend this location. I'm highly disappointed in the service as well because I waited for them to finish a meal that looks like it took no time for them to bring out to me. read more

Wow! This little restaurant is worth the drive! Very delicious! Real meat soft bread! They said it's chaos in the kitchen because they were training in new staff. We could never tell. They were fast, fun and prompt! They run around with free fries while you wait and afterwards a free dish of ice cream. Try your fries with "Dave's sauce". I hope you enjoy as much as we did. We are traveling and decided to try this place. We were happily greeted at the door, we both ordered hamburger steak w/onion&mushrooms and fries. Surprisingly, they bring fries to the table pre-meal as an appetizer. They were good, home cut style fries. The hamburger steak was delicious, great tasting meat. It was absolutely a delight to eat at this restaurant! I was driving through on my way from Texas to Illinois and stopped here for lunch. Upon entering the restaurant, I was greeted with a cooler that contained fresh meat. I went up to the counter and placed my order. I was given a number and piece of red and white checkerboard paper. I was told there was unlimited soda and unlimited fresh fries while I waited. I grabbed my drink and sat down and was immediately greeted by a friendly employee with a large stainless steel bowl that contained fresh fries. I took a bite of the fries and they were absolutely delicious. While I was waiting for my burger to be freshly cooked. I learned that the fries were hand cut everyday. I also learned that the meat is also ground fresh everyday, which I'm sure is a rarity for a burger joint. I received my burger and it was absolutely delicious!! Often times I fly to Illinois to visit friends and family. If I do take the 14 hour road trip in the future, I'm going to have to make sure to stop at David's Burgers for lunch on the way!
