Based on a couple reviews we stopped for a late lunch. The salsa and chips were so good. The chips were still hot and the salsa was just spicy enough. I had the taco salad with beef. My husband ordered off the lunch menu, Cast iron Steak Ranchero. Both were very good. I asked him if he would order it again and he said "YES!" (That's high praise)! The service was excellent. The ice tea was very good. No negatives! The decor is your typical Mexican. We will definitely drive the 25 miles to dine again! read more

The customer service at this restaurant was absolutely horrible. My partner, an African American woman, went in simply to pick up an order and was met with rudeness, dismissive behavior, and a complete lack of professionalism. Three different servers refused to assist her and did so in Spanish, choosing to dismiss her rather than help. Instead of offering basic customer service, they ignored her and made it clear they would not serve her. At one point, she was told that no chicken was being served, which was both confusing and offensive given the context. What should have been a quick and simple pickup turned into an uncomfortable and degrading experience. No customer should ever feel ignored, disrespected, or singled out. This experience was unacceptable, and we will not be returning. Management needs to seriously address how customers are treated. read more

I stopped in here just on a whim. The food was awesome! I had the guacamole and the Ranchero Special under the Nachos Mexicanos section on the menu. Taste was amazing and the servers were attentive. I will be returning again!! I will say like the other reviews it looks unassuming on the outside, and there are not a whole lot of windows but that's not a real issue. read more

Their taco salad is the best ever. I'd drive in from anywhere just to get it and some of their tortillas. Their chips, salsa and cheese dip are soooo good. Sometimes I'd even just do a to go order of just the chips and cheese dip. Always good, fast, CLEAN and the staff have always been super sweet and helpful. I have been coming here for a couple months regularly. Nothing has happened until yesterday. I ordered takeout and I came to pick it up. Nothing was wrong with the food but I had a very disrespectful and disappointing experience with two of the workers. The guy that greeted me when I walked in guided me towards the cash register where a lady was standing. When I walked over there he said to her in Spanish "She is here for the tacos, she is such a torta", she giggled and shook her head yes agreeing with what he said. This was all said in Spanish. I understand Spanish very well so I was absolutely shocked when he said that, assuming I wouldn't understand. In the moment I did not say anything because I was embarrassed and I didn't want to make a scene in front of all the people sitting there. After I payed I left and looked up the word he used, the regular translation to Spanish means cake yet in Mexican slang it means basically a fatass. I never felt this disrespected in a restaurant. This was truly the worst experience I have ever encountered with a waiter. The worst part of it all was how effortlessly they did it. Believe me if they did that to me they probably do it all the time to other people. Won't be coming back, and neither is my family and friends. I'll make sure of that. read more

Ok when we pulled up to this place, honestly, our expectations were not high. It's pretty small and dated, but clean and well kept. You know what they say about not judging a book by its cover?! Seems like a small place on the outside, but there's plenty of room inside and it gets very busy in the evening! They have a lot to choose from and personally I think their quesadillas are incredibly delicious. I don't like beans, so when I order I ask for no beans and without asking, they double up on the rice which is awesome. I've also had their Al Pastor tacos which are great! The complimentary chips and salsa are delicious and went well with the queso and chorizo appetizers. They freshly cook the tortillas as well and they were fantastic. This place has great Mexican food. Go to nachos on a month-to-month basis sometimes 2 to 3 times a month. When tried to have them fix the price of the item they just argued. This could just be the issue that alot do not understand English. We had ordered Nacho's before when we were in town through Bite Squad and the food came so fresh and delicious that we decided that we needed to go in-person next time we were in town. The in-person visit definitely did not disappoint. We went on a weekday night and the place wasn't too packed but it was busy. We were promptly seated and as we looked over the menu, complementary chips and salsa were served, as well as our drink orders. After some deliberation, Enchiladas (served with rice and beans on the side) and the "Nacho's Special" Fajitas (served with rice and beans, pico de gallo, sour cream, guacamole, and 3 flour tortillas). After a short wait, the food came steaming hot and delicious. We ended up eating our fill and having enough food for leftovers the next day. The wait staff came by frequently to make sure our drinks were topped off and to make sure we had everything we needed to have an enjoyable meal including asking if we needed extra napkins, chips, and tortillas for the fajitas. Watch your bill at the end of your meal. They tried to sneak $2.91 for water (not bottled water). I looked on the menu and they don't charge for water, only bottled water. They charge 76 cents for an admin fee (for credit card). I ordered the carnitas and they skimped on the meat. I live in Mexico so I know a few tacky restaurants that will charge people or tourists every little thing and try to see if they can get away with it.
