Brunch was amazing. I got the cuban sandwich with sweet potato fries. The sweet potato fries come with a honey butter that enhance the sweetness. Being from Miami, the cuban sandwich here is not 100% authentic but it's pretty close and DELICIOUS. My partner really enjoyed his breakfast bowl. The restaurant is also well decorated and has great vibes. We had Randall as our server and he was really attentive and knowledgable about the menu. The managers also se very hands-on. Just had dinner at Marty's for the first time. Here are some things we liked: Very clean and nice decor. Cloth napkins (very important to my husband). The staff were very friendly and attentive. Fast service. Food: We had the glassed salmon. It was delicious but came with a side of peppers and onions as the vegetables. Would be better with asparagus or broccoli but wasn't an option to choose. Had the shrimp scampi. Shrimp was really good but the noodles were a little dry. Turkey Reuben it was delicious. Things I didn't like: There are no healthy options like grilled chicken or sweet potato's. Overall a good local place to eat. read more

Stopped here for lunch on a whim and was very impressed! Walking in you would think it's fancy, very cute lobby. Waitress was very friendly and attentive. And the food... everything was so delicious! We had cheese curds to start which comes with a yummy avocado crema. Then I ordered the adult grilled cheese with sweet potato waffle fries and wow!! Both were some of the best I had. Let me start out by saying that this place is still new in the scheme of things but not so new that hey shouldn't be addressing some issues. First things first. The owner(s) have sunk some serious dough into atmosphere. It is the best thing about the place. Restrooms alone are high dollar and pure class. For my first visit, I ordered pork chop with mashed potatoes topped with red eye gravy, and grilled veggies. My cohort had the smashed burger. And we shared the fried mushroom ap. I'll get to service, but start at the appetizer . It was horrible. Overcooked so much that the batter was a very dark brown and very hard. Inside serving temp was close to the same as the surface of the sun. No flavor except for the runny ranch-like sauce. 2 out of ten. Pork chop was thin and the "bone in" bone was about the size of a dime. First bite had grilled taste- the rest was very salty. A pork chop you might see at a diner for $8.99. Not $18. The mashed potatoes were covered in a red eye gravy that I seriously thought had gone bad. Very weird, tangy taste. Strong and dominant taste and not in a good way. Scraped it off and there was zero seasoning on the mash. Veggies were the star of this dish although heavy on the onions. That tells you cheapskate kitchen. And note kitchen- outer onion skin was in the medley. The kind with veins. Don't use those. Pork chop and mash, three out of ten, veggies 7. Dining companion had smashed burger and loved it. 8.5 out of 10. With no drinks and no dessert, this bill was $60+ with tip. Easy $100 per couple. Atmosphere is what made this place-- time for the kitchen to do its part. Oh, and waitress needs some training. Place was mostly empty and we ate pretty fast. She didn't do a stop to ask if we enjoyed the dishes, and left the ticket while we were eating because, she said, "it's about to get busy." That's Waffle House where they do that-- not the service you expect at these prices. read more

My mom recommended this place to me, so I came for brunch with some friends on Sunday. I ordered the Amerkana. It was good. I could've done without the chipotle in the biscuit. I wish there was an option to order a biscuit without the heat. The eggs and bacon tasted good, the breakfast potatoes were alright. I also ordered the brownie that came with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Great dessert. I was a little let down that there aren't any lunch items on the brunch menu. It's more like breakfast with brunch hours. I was more in the mood for a lunch item that day rather than a beakfast one. 1 of my friends said the same. That's really my only criticism. I like that they take reservations; it was really easy to do on open table. Our waitress name was Audrey, same as mine; which was cool. She was nice and checked on us often. I had lunch with friends this week at Marty's Place. Drake was our server. Drake was very helpful, attentive, gracious and thorough. Marty's is an upscale dining establishment with a wonderful ambiance at an affordable price point. I have eaten there several times, and the food and service are second to none. My favorites are they're Wednesday special pot roast and their Thursday special meatloaf is my absolute favorite. I chose the BLT this day and it was delicious with plenty of thick cut bacon and a good size portion. If you haven't tried Marty's Place you don't know what you're missing. The service was awful. I have never experienced anything like this in my life. The waiter wasted two drinks on a person in my party. Everyone order was either wrong or just totally mixed up. The assistant manger was very rude stated well im just trying to get you fed to a member at my table as if she was some type of puppy or such. Our first time here and we loved it! Very clean, great service. Highly recommend the cheese curds appetizer. I had the pork chops with red eye gravy and mashed pots and house veggies and it was all tasty. The pork chops were grilled perfectly and I was surprised how good the veggies were! My guest ordered the adult grilled cheese, and they really liked it. I however ordered the southwest philly, which I am assuming is their interpretation of philly cheesesteak. But, it seemed they repurpose their roast beef (Wednesday special) into cheesesteak meat. So the cheesesteak has a slow cooked pot roasty flavor instead of a grilled tasted, like a normal cheesesteak. The portion size was adequate, and they know how to properly cook crispy fries. We had the fried chicken with mashed poatoes, smash burger, buffalo wings, cheesburger egg rolls, and banana chesecake. The place is very upscale, clean, polite staff, very clean bathrooms, no complaints at all! If i had to find something to say bad about this place id say the burger did not come with enough fries at $12. But i mean it was a fresh delicious meal and i would not and did not complain. The waitress (suzanne) kept our drinks full 100% of the time, was very cheery, and knowledgable about the menu and drinks!
