Farmer's burger (left) and Classic burger (right) with sweet potatoe fries
    Harris N.

Upon arrival server told us they close the upstairs (best spot in the restaurant) from 2-4pm to clean so she sat us in the most boring part of the restaurant (the side). The food was decent and the server was nice. I would come back if I'm around here. I recommend opening up the whole restaurant though.

Overall 3.25 Stars As we were heading to Branson, we did a layover in Little Rock and were hankering for a burger. After reviewing several burger establishments, I picked Big Orange for their eclectic menu options. Ambiance - 3.5 stars We arrived 1 hr before closing and took about 5 minutes before we seated. The decor is modern with spacious indoor and outdoor seating. Even had a second floor for larger gatherings. There is central open bar with multiple chairs. When busy, I would suggest the outdoor seating area because it will get loud inside. Service 3.75 Stars Our server was pleasant and professional. She made some recommendations and we placed our order. Food: over 3.25 stars - all items are a la carte 1. 4 Stars - Umami bomb a mixed Half (veggies) & Half (Beef) Patty, Havarti Cheese, White American Cheese, Sautéed Mushrooms, Caramelized Onion, Thyme, Arugula, Butter Leaf Lettuce, and Garlic Mayo. This is must order item. The half n half patty was juicy and very flavorful. The melted cheese was a big compliment to the patty and the onions were slightly sweet. Great combination! 2. 2.75 stars Price- The waffle sweet potato fries w mango curry ketchup. This was not a hit due to the limp fries and the curry seasoning. It seems they gave us leftover fries from the basket. And the curry in the mango ketchup was a bit overpowering for the taste buds. 3. 2.75 Stars - Farmer's Burger* Havarti Cheese, Over Easy Farm Egg, Petit Jean Bacon, Butter Leaf Lettuce, Tomato, Red Onion, and Garlic Mayo. Nothing special about the burger. The burger supposed to be medium - med well but the burger was well done. If you prefer a burger with neutral flavors, this would be burger for you. I prefer my burger to have a little bit more flavor so I added the curry mango ketchup to it. It tasted much better. 4. 3.25 Stars Truffle Garlic Herb fries. These were hot, fresh and crunchy. There was slight hint truffle oil but not overwhelming. I prefer these over the sweet potato fries Price: 2.75 stars - each menu item is a la' carte and the burgers prices are more expensive than other places. We spent $45 for two burgers and specialty fries, not including the one beer which was the least expensive thing our ticket. Would I recommend the place...maybe but there are other burger joints I would try when passing through Little Rock again.

Service was good. Burger was only ok. I believe they use a very lean ground beef which sacrifices flavor. I'd prefer a little more flavor in the beef. Maybe they could season the patty's some?

Alright I'm going to start with the good. The best fries I have ever had in my life were at a small resort in Fiji on its own island called Qamea. Big Orange has the closet fries to those! Absolutely phenomenal fries (I'm referencing the truffle ones with the garlic aioli)! Also, the service was great, they were fast despite being a little busy for a Wednesday evening, and they even helped me out with letting me borrow a phone charger. Now for the not great: I've been in Little Rock for 2 weeks now, and being that it is known as Burgertown USA, I've been trying my fair share of top rated burgers. Here I went with The Original and just wasn't impressed. I'd give it a 6/10. It lacked flavor and definitely didn't top my list of burgers in Little Rock. Same for the atmosphere. It seemed a little more mainstream than some of the other, more intimate places on the top rated list. Overall, great spot for fries and some drinks. I enjoyed my cookies and cream milkshake, but not Little Rock's best burger.

Food was great. The atmosphere was laid back and sporty, fun and family friendly. You could tell the ingredients were sourced well as the quality of the food was great. The service was excellent. No bc complaints. This was our second time here and we will be back when in the area.

We stopped here on our way to Gatlinburg TN and I'm sure glad we did! Every part of the burgers I tried were amazing! The buns themselves are so good and light. Patties are full of flavor no matter which one you get and the toppings are house made it locally made for sure. I love all the different combos of flavor you can get here. In the middle of this restaurant is an eye stopping bar. Then you have the upstairs area looking down at the rest of the restaurant . Super cool! Come try them out!

Thai Chop with Chicken and OMG those homemade chips!

We always look forward to a road trip that takes us through Little Rock at meal time. Big Orange is an easy detour because we know the menu to be creative, the people friendly and the vibe to be cheery. We normally settle to the bar and no matter who is behind it it's as if we are regulars. This past Sunday was no exception. Not shown in the photo is my real recommendation, the PB & Dark Chocolate shake. Whew, I'm a vanilla guy but this selection was so good it was gone before I snapped a photo of it. Sorry y'all but my mistake is just good reason for you to get to Big Orange and order the PB & Dark Chocolate shake with a Homemade Chip Bucket for yourself!

Took my boy out for his Birthday Burger while we were in town for a convention. The ambiance was so fun! The lighting and bar set up definitely gives off hip vibes. Happy Hour here would be cool I think. Burgers were big, seasoned well and not overcooked. The bun was classic and toasted inside as it should be. Fries were crispy outside and soft inside. We had chocolate shakes for dessert and our amazing kind waiter Francisco, gave us one on the house, for my kiddo's special day. Will definitely be back when we come through town!

I was unfortunately disappointed tonight (28JAN2024). Big Orange has an excellent range of menu selections and unique flavors. The staff are always friendly and their restaurants are normally well kept. Tonight, we waited for one hour and twenty minutes for three hamburgers and three fries. Our burgers did not come as ordered and we only received two fries. We were told that our order was lost. I'm not sure how that happens. (I used to wait tables at a 4 star private restaurant) The bathroom was gross and this has never been my experience before at Big Orange. Our wait was only ten minutes. They were busy but not too busy. I'm a little dismayed.

Came here with my dad, we're both big burger connoisseurs and specifically burgers are really all he eats. I was excited to try this restaurant because as much as I love a simple cheeseburger every now and then I loveee to try different combinations. The service was pretty standard and to the point. I ordered the white truffle and pecorino burger and my dad ordered the Arkansas bacon and cheddar. We both thought our burgers were really good giving them about an 8. The fries were good as well and a necessary pairing. I also ordered the Lavendar haze cocktail and loved that they have a tasting option of their frozen house cocktail for $5 both were pretty solid. To finish off the meal my dad and I decided to try the milkshakes we got the vanilla and the coffee caramel. I can honestly say after having ice cream all week at multiple dairy bars and burger stands all over Arkansas, the milkshakes fell very flat for us and just really did not taste of any quality. Nonetheless, overall I enjoyed the experience and the food as well as the ambience and will be visiting again!

Got there a little early and our table was ready. Since it was a fixed menu, we only had a few options to choose from. First course I chose duck and pancetta, meatball, and my wife chose the Ahi Crudo. Ahi Crudo - flavors were good, just wish they would have gone with a sashimi cut over the thicker cut of tuna. It had a little chew to it. Duck and Pancetta meatball- probably the best seasoned bite of the evening, almost to the point of being too salty. The meatball was cooked perfectly and had amazing flavor. Second course I chose the lobster bisque, and my wife chose the strawberry and beet salad. Lobster bisque - lobster meat was very tender, and you could taste the good salty water that they boiled it in. The base of the bisque was lacking a depth of flavor. I expected it to be more pronounced lobster flavor in the biscuit itself. It was good. It was just a different flavor than I was expecting. Strawberry / Beet salad - the salad was very good. I liked the cheese that they put on the salad. Luckily I was able to steal a few bites from my wife. Main course I ordered the New York strip, and my wife ordered the lobster risotto. New York Strip - when the steak hit the table, I was very excited. As you can see from the photos, it was cooked perfectly. From the first bite, I could tell the steak was tender, but there was zero flavor. I don't know if the steak was not seasoned at all, or if they were just playing on the drizzle over the top of the mushrooms in the steak to add flavor. But the overall plate was bland and flavor. I had to add table salt, which I almost never do. Lobster risotto- lobster risotto looked amazing. My first bite of risotto that I was able to steal was pretty bland. I tried another bite before my wife finished the entire plate! The second bite was much better had a lot of of the pepper flavor in the risotto. My wife said the lobster was tender and delicious. Dessert! I chose the Tres Leches and my wife chose the chocolate pot de creme. Tres Leches - this cake was probably the overall favorite thing of the evening. You could taste the vanilla and the cream. It was a match made in heaven. The frozen strawberries on top provided a good texture contrast. Chocolate pot de creme- this was an amazing dessert also. The depth of flavor in the chocolate cream was truly remarkable. You could taste the different chocolate. Rich and decadent for the last bite. We chose to add the wine pairing on with the mail. All the ones were pretty good. Nothing earth shattering, but all paired well with the meal. Service felt a little rushed, and I understand that valentines is a big day for the restaurant. We would not be halfway through a glass of wine when the next glass of wine for the next course would show up. It almost felt like our server was trying to push the pace of our dining experience. This review will ultimately get updated. Because I never judge a restaurant based on one experience. So we look forward to our next date night, where we can stop by and try the standard menu.

(We ask every year) Not expecting them to honor it because it's a BIG ASK in food service - they went ABOVE AND BEYOND. We were given champagne and they made a rum cake for us! We were crying with gratitude, the hostesses and wait staff were crying, and it will be an anniversary to remember. The ambiance and decor was edgy and modern. You could actually have a conversation while it not being too quiet or too loud. Oh and the food was fantastic! We ordered crispy rice cabbage salad () a patty melt, Khao Soi, and two cocktails. Unbelievable quality. Even better service! Our waitress, Parker, was knowledgable about everything on the menu, suggested the fries (don't skip those), and very attentive. We will be back.

No loud music so you can talk to and hear your guest. Some of the seating is family style and some individual which is cool. Drinks are amazing and staff is attentive so which made it great service! Food: Menu concept has a variety of food items. It has more Asian flare but also has a few items from other food cultures. Not quite a home run with all. The Appetizers we selected were good. I like the spin on the desconstructed crab Rangoon. It was really tasty and adding the cheese on top gave it a unique taste. The chicken wings were perfectly fried but sauce is required to develop taste. Which is fine if they were going for Korean Type fried wings. Dipping sauces were okay, chile lime is refreshing but not made for fried wings. Gochujang sauce was good and sweet chili heat were fine-Flavors were just as good as a store bought bottle. I was excited to try the crab fried rice but I found it to be dry and the flavor bland. It needed more vibrant veggies. The veggies were cut tiny so the flavors didn't come through like the roasted corn inside or the scallions. I couldn't taste they were in the rice. The "blue crab" was almost invisible. However if you use the sweet chili sauce on the rice it gives it a punch! Portion sizes were large-some too large. And usually that's a sign the food is probably not that great. Chicken Kimchi Stacker-The kimchi on the chicken sandwich was great but couldn't completely deliver enough flavor for the double fried bland chicken. It needed a special sauce to give it a kick. As for the entrees, we wrapped them up for take home. I added more scallions and rice vinegar and a touch of lite soy sauce to the fried rice. And I would probably go back to try other items. I would definitely return for the bar, and great Rangoon dip! Overall, No explosion or burst of flavors but it is well prepared and well presented food with a great staff.
