Tequila mockingbird
Vu N.

This review is for the bar program. Good cocktails is hard to find in this town. This place does it right. They are quick drinks are amazing. Service is on point. Their frozen drinks are refreshing. But today. I got the tequila mockingbird. Balanced. Pretty. Refreshing. Excellent stop if your into cocktails

This makes my second time at P&K and this time, I was very underwhelmed. Our server, Benjamin, was awesome! The Peachy Keet was strong but amazing! However, I ordered the PK Paneed Chicken just like before and it was kinda bland. Would I return, of course, maybe i'll try something different if so. Of course the establishment is well clean and nice as always.

When I say Petit & Keet is the best dining experience in Little Rock, I mean that. This place delivers on every level--food, service, ambiance, and that "this is a special night" kind of energy. We came here for my spouse's birthday, fresh off a stay at The Burgundy Hotel, and we dressed up nice because we knew this was the spot. And from start to finish, it was everything we wanted. The food was NEXT level. Every plate was beautifully presented and actually tasted as good as it looked. The ribeye was perfectly cooked, the brussels sprouts had that crisp-but-not-burnt balance, and the sauces? Whew. That compound butter on the steak? A moment. Everything was seasoned to perfection--no bland bites here. But what really made this night was the atmosphere. Elegant but not stuffy, upscale but still welcoming. You could tell the staff cared about making the experience feel special. The service was top-tier--attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely warm. They knew their menu and made sure we were taken care of the whole night. Petit & Keet isn't just a restaurant, it's a whole experience. If you want a high-end meal that actually delivers on taste, this is where you go. Five stars, no question.

My steak au poivre- very good, and well presented

Absolutely incredible dinner tonight here! Came with my parents, as we are in town to visit family before the coming holiday week, and we absolutely loved our meal. Began with a bottle of the Chablis; available by the glass, but with three of us, we decided it was just better to indulge with a bottle- it was the Chartron et Trebuchet Chablis though- a thorough review of that wine is available elsewhere, but suffice to say it was delicious, and an excellent part of their menu. We started with the shareable appetizers of the baked goat cheese and crispy Brussel sprouts. Upon overhearing us state that my father would be the only one to enjoy the sprouts, our server, Carman, asked if he would prefer a side size of the Brussels, which we greatly appreciated. The baked goat cheese was fantastic- I would have appreciated the tomatoes to be blistered, mostly because the one that was made it much, much easier to not have it roll off my crustini since it was slightly softer- the ones that were fresher were a bit more difficult. Mom and I ate most of it, and the fresh pesto on top was wonderful, though the shaved roasted slices of garlic may have been better if incorportated in to the pesto, as that flavor did enhance the cheese well. Dad liked the Brussels, he said that the salty-sweet with the honey balsamic glaze and the course salt very much elevated the dish. We did end up ordering some of the parker house rolls as well, since mom and I wanted a bit more bread for the goat cheese, but we were all impressed with the lavender honey butter on top of them. I may have to admit to eating the top of one as my dessert because it was so good. Dad got the Lamb shank, and it was so tender he ended up using just his fork to enjoy his meal. Mom got the Coq au Vin, which she thoroughly enjoyed, but didn't; say much about it, since she was too busy eating! I got the steak au poivre, medium rare, which was perfectly cooked- I would have preferred less pepper on the vegetables, as a nice compliment to the brandy peppercorn cream, but it was still wonderful- I just ended up not really eating the vegetables since it was a bit of an overwhelming amount of pepper. It was a chilly night in late fall when we visited, so the comfort food level of the warm entree was delightful. The ecletic but casual decor, especially the small additions of older books around the restaurant enhanced that cozy but fun atmosphere as well. Be aware though, parking is sometimes difficult to get- be courteous to others and not take up more than one spot (thanks, sports car driver that wasn't even an overly nice sports car...) or utilize the valet. Or, some of the other nearby businesses are not open past 5, so those may be an option as well. Definitely one I will visit again, as the seasonality of the menu means there's more to constantly enjoy.

6oz Sirloin and sides

Food and service was amazing as usual and the valet parking was awesome for people that needed it tonight in the rain! My Elijah Craig Old Fashioned was impeccable as was my wife's espresso martini. Thanks for another fabulous night!

This is very nice restaurant. The food quality is amazing. I ordered Salmon which was miso-marinated, braised driftwood farm mushrooms, cauliflower purée l, broccoli, scallion soubise with chive oil. Food presentation was great. Overall enjoyed the experience.

My recent visit to Petit & Keet in Little Rock, AR, was absolutely fabulous. From the moment I walked in, this spot was eclectic and casual which perfectly mirrors the personalities of its founders, Louis Petit and Jim Keet. Meeting Louis Petit was an unexpected highlight. His infectious personality and positive outlook were immediately evident. So cute with his Belgian accent and a knack for making every guest feel special. My meal began with the sushi-grade tuna tartare, a dish that was as visually stunning as it was delicious. The freshness of the tuna was amazing. Next, I had the grilled Caesar salad, a creative twist on a classic The smoky flavor from the grill surprised me. It was great. The pièce de résistance was the red snapper. Cooked to perfection, it melted in my mouth like butter. Petit & Keet is a must-visit destination in Little Rock. Stop in and tell Louis I said Hello!

Lamb shank
Kristyn R.

The front of house staff was great. Our waiter was a little overwhelmed and we didn't get much attention, but another waiter stepped in to try and help. We got the tuna tartare as an appetizer. It was really good. I got salmon with mushrooms and kale. The salmon and mushrooms were good. The kale was too salty and the sauce was not good. My boyfriend got the lamb shank and it wasn't seasoned well and was just bland. We were really disappointed in our experience. The staff was really nice, but for a place that was supposed to be amazing... it was just disappointing. We probably won't be back.

Bland and overpriced. Great service and a nice drink selection but not worth what they're asking. Just go to Arthur's.

Plastic dishes, the mule cup - there's definitely better options. The silverware is okay. It's like midway between affordable and nice - pick a lane. So... my only complaint is the plates. Just go already.

We had a 2 or 3 glasses of wine ($5 each on happy hour, which is great) and a couple beers ($6 on hh) so it is not like we were drinking water and wasting her time. We ordered the Arugula salad for 2 ($13), which had cannellini beans on it. I loved the dressing, it was delicious & nicely dressed. However, several pieces of the arugula was brown and old or wilted. Size of the salad was perfect for 2. We shared the Sarah Meadows pie ($26). It was just ok. Our overall take was that the bartender could have made our experience a little more enjoyable, the pizzas are one size (huge) and expensive. I wish we could order a smaller pie since it is only 2 of us. We will not be going back.

When ordering, we clearly stated that we do not eat bacon due to religious reasons. Despite this, one of the girls salad's arrived with bacon. The server apologized and said it would be corrected, but while the rest of the group received their food and began eating, my friend and I were left waiting. After about 15 more minutes, he replacement salad arrived -- only for us to unfortunately find a bacon bit in it again. At that point, we asked to speak with a manager. Sara came over and apologized, then asked if we had been drinking and offered shots or desserts for the table. We appreciated the gesture and opted for desserts. However, her response was shocking -- she told us not to "take advantage of the business." That comment completely changed the tone of the evening. We were taken aback, declined everything, and just wanted to finish up and leave. When we later asked her why she felt we were taking advantage, she responded rudely, saying she had already apologized and didn't know what else to say. The situation was mishandled from start to finish -- from ignoring a clearly stated dietary restriction (which is not just a preference, but a religious requirement), to poor service recovery, and finally, unprofessional and dismissive behavior from management. Unfortunately, this experience left us feeling uncomfortable and disrespected. I would not recommend this place based on how this situation was handled.

To accompany our happy hour wines my son and I ordered two of his favorite things: Mixed Mediterranean Olives ($5.50) and a Spanish cheese ($9). Perhaps I've spent too long in the Bay Area or perhaps they do things differently in Arkansas but the mountainous bowl of olives that arrived at our table sparked utter joy. This wasn't 5, 10, or even 15 olives; I think it might've been a whole jar's worth. It was not only amusing, but an utter delight. One hundred percent chance of a return visit for the olives alone. We followed with the Spanish cheese and more wine but there was no getting beyond the olives. That's what we'd be talking about. Forever. By the Glass has a good happy hour ($5/glass for selected wine) which pertains only to the wines. It's a low-key, comfortable, unpretentious spot that's received recognition as the best bar, the best wine bar, the best trendy bar, and the best happy hour bar from a variety of publications.
