The grilled cheese here is so delicious! We got the chicken and French onion soup. The French onion came with a side to dip it into also. One thing I wanted to point out is that they should consider having umbrellas on their outside patio. It's really hot outside and we had a dog so we got the food to go. read more

I'll give it a 2 because I can't complain about the staff. We ordered the skirt steak and the spicy beef sandwich. Whatever that sauce was that they drizzled over the steak wasn't necessary at all. The salad dressing was an abomination to all salad dressings. We will probably go back and try the cheese and bread portion of the menu and hopefully be able to update my post. read more

I was pleasantly surprised by BCW! The ambiance was great and it's super cute inside, service was good and the food was delicious! If I had one complaint it was that my Paloma was very strong and didn't really taste like a Paloma. But I saw other people mention the cheesy potatoes and had to give them a try and I'm so glad I did. They were truly fantastic and it comes with a rather large portion. My grilled cheese was one of the best I've ever had. The combination of hot honey, Brie, and prosciutto will get me on any day, but this far exceeded my expectations. The bread was delicious and perfectly grilled. If I was a local this would totally be my go-to spot!! read more

Consistently a wonderful experience. The food is fresh and creatively prepared; we had happy hour potatoes in a delicious fondue and now we crave it. The service is always considerate and friendly, and we enjoy the airy, high ceiling space. A true LR fave. read more

Was passing through town for work and decided to stop in for an early dinner. I was one of the few people eating, so the service was great and the food was steaming hot! The atmosphere is great and would be perfect to meet up with girlfriends. I was looking to sit outside in the nice weather, but unfortunately they would not accommodate. The crispy potatoes were fantastic - props to another reviewer on here that convinced me to order! The grilled cheese was great too, but in my opinion could've used a prosciutto or turkey to cut the creaminess of the brie. read more

I finally got a chance to try this place and I was not disappointed at all. I walked in and the staff was friendly and welcoming. I sat at the bar as I went by myself. The bartender was very nice and thorough in explaining the menus and the place so that i could have a great first experience. I looked over the menu and picked out the Spicy beef grilled cheese with arugula salad and the french onion soup. All three items were very delicious. I cleared the plate and bowl like I had never had a meal before lol. The place had a decent amount of people, but not too crowded. I would recommend going early or reserving a table to make it easier during later hours. I will definitely be returning to this place to try more of their food. If you want great food and drinks I recommend you check this place out. read more

5 star experience at BCW (Bread Cheese Wine)! Walked by this place and met the owner, Nathan. Super friendly guy! Decor and Ambiance: I love the different art pieces and the attention to detail. Nathan had the art curated for his vision of the restaurant. He was intentional about the designs and who created the pieces (friends, etc). The BCW logo is fun too! You can totally see this restaurant in a place like LA (I'm visiting from LA). Drinks: the cocktails are so fun! Very instagramable! We got the wine flight (Nathan's). All the wines were so good - discovered some that I haven't tried before. Staff: as friendly as Nathan! There were many staff members around - they are great to talk to and are attentive to whether you are ready to order or want the check I would come back if I'm back in Little Rock - would love to try the food (I was tempted to order many plates, but we were short on time). Definitely recommend BCW! read more

Great food! Great atmosphere! Great location! Great staff! Great wine & cocktails!! I ordered the kale caesar with chicken and the flavors were great! Delicious homemade croutons & dressing tasted homemade as well. I'm an avid kale eater so the only reason they lost a star was because the kale in the salad didn't seem to be massaged at all so it became a little bit of a jaw workout (if you know, you know!) Overall I will definitely be back to try more on the menu and bring more people with me! read more

Had a great dinner at BCW last night. Cheese fondue was amazing. I had the duck and it was cooked perfectly (not dry or overcooked). My date had the pork belly entree and said it was a little hard and that he probably wouldn't order it again. Service was great and we will be back! read more

I have enjoy many varieties of their food. They stared out with the many variations of grilled cheese sandwiches. I have not found one I don't like yet. The wait staff and bartender are on top of it. Very helpful when you ask for suggestions ranging from what do they like on the menu, to what is best to pair with a meal. I like the open look of the restaurant. But with this comes the noise level. It is just what you deal with. I guess more a bar feel with this respect. I do wish they would come up with a way to dampen the noise level. They have opened up some seating outside so you can get away from the indoor sounds. Overall, I come back all the time. read more

Traveling from NWA and came here for dinner. A really nice spot, very well done and nice add to SOMA. We had two different grilled cheese sandwiches along with a bowl of French Onion soup and sweet potato chips. Both sandwiches were food, really liked the bread. The chips had great texture but not a lot of flavor. The soup was really missing on flavor as well. We had a couple of cocktails that were good. Service was good as well. I guess you can't really eat out for under $100 anymore but for grilled cheese sandwiches? A good experience read more

Our party of 4 arrived on a rainy Saturday around noon. We learned that the regular menu and a brunch menu were available! Nice surprise. There's a creative cocktail menu, local beers and full wine list available. Bloody Mary's were our choice. The salted spices on the rim were a unique blend that included hint of lemon. We went with brunch and both of us cleaned our plates. Eggs and pancetta were perfectly prepared and the sauces well executed. Our friends shared the Caprese grill cheese and salad and gave it a thumbs up. Yes, we shared an over the top dessert. Bread pudding swimming in a bourbon Carmel sauce. Highly recommend. read more

I do not understand how this place gets such good reviews. I'm downgrading my review from three stars to one. Substandard food--seriously like something at a cut-rate hotel buffet trying to be upscale. And the service is awful. My last visit was the worst. Our server had no other tables--the place was almost empty--but checked on us long after our first drinks were gone--and then took about 20 minutes to bring a second drink. The best part was when she tossed our check and the pens on the table. Awful experience. Love supporting local places, esp on Main, but won't go back. read more

A great addition to the Little Rock food scene. Just good, solid, delicious food and wine/cocktails in a lovely modern atmosphere. The sharables are my personal favorite (potatoes, beets, whipped feta, cheese bread, bread...!) but they specialize in these really fancy grilled cheese sandwiches which are excellent (I tasted everyone at the tables so I had a range - I recommend the classic with tomato soup , the prosciutto or the spicy beef!). They even have a vegan one (not for me but good to know). read more

I take all my out of town guest to BCW!! It's such a fun atmosphere and so so good! They have an excellent wine selection and you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. I especially love to go and order a variety of apps to share as a lighter dinner. The ricotta IS A MUST! Seriously, it's so good with the pickled grapes and toasted bread. Trust me, and order it the next time you go! The crispy potatoes are another must order for the table! read more

Overall, nothing to write home about. Some appetizers were delicious. Their gluten free bread is tragic, which limits all the sandwiches. They should ask who is making City Silo's bread, or partner with Dempsey Bakery for a better tasting option. read more

The food is a perfect 10. I brought an out of town guest and we had salads and split 3 grilled cheeses. They are out of this world. The service was spot on. Unfortunately, we chose to arrive at 8 p.m., had a very nice elegant dinner, and as we were finishing our meals, we were assaulted by loud music at an offensive volume. They call it Last Call, from 9-11 p.m. Woe to us that they started it at 8:45. It was so jarring we couldn't get out of there fast enough. While I would like for the lingering memory to be of those fabulous grilled cheese sandwiches, the assault on my ears and nervous system is what dominated the experience. If you don't want to end up have your experience blasted, make sure to get out by 8:45 or sooner. read more

We were just stopping through Little Rock and found this cute artsy spot on yelp. I loved the ambiance and aesthetic of this place. The potato's were really good, the kale caesar salad was ok, the tomato soup was ok as well. I also got the mushroom grilled cheese and didn't care too much for that. But my friend got the chicken grilled cheese and loved it, it had some type of jam on it which was a pleasant surprise. read more
