    Curry Kimchi Schnitzel
    Tori L.

Tried this place for the first time today and absolutely loved it! The menu can seem like a large range of food items but it's all so so good. There are a lot of Asian fusion items, Thai food, and classic diner items. I got the meatloaf and mashed potatoes - it came out hot and so so delicious. My boyfriend got the Curry Kimchi Schnitzel and that was also superrr good! We worried that it might be heavy but it was perfect. It was also such a large portion! We also ordered the calamari for an appetizer and it was delicious and perfectly cooked! Highly recommend giving this place a try! The service was friendly and fantastic and the food is to die for!

Rating a 3.5 for now. Cool spot for a quick date night or one or two girlfriends night out for drinks. Atmosphere/Service: Okay art and cool atmosphere. No loud music so you can talk to and hear your guest. Some of the seating is family style and some individual which is cool. Drinks are amazing and staff is attentive so which made it great service! Food: Menu concept has a variety of food items. It has more Asian flare but also has a few items from other food cultures. Not quite a home run with all. The Appetizers we selected were good. I like the spin on the desconstructed crab Rangoon. It was really tasty and adding the cheese on top gave it a unique taste. The chicken wings were perfectly fried but sauce is required to develop taste. Which is fine if they were going for Korean Type fried wings. Dipping sauces were okay, chile lime is refreshing but not made for fried wings. Gochujang sauce was good and sweet chili heat were fine-Flavors were just as good as a store bought bottle. I was excited to try the crab fried rice but I found it to be dry and the flavor bland. It needed more vibrant veggies. The veggies were cut tiny so the flavors didn't come through like the roasted corn inside or the scallions. I couldn't taste they were in the rice. The "blue crab" was almost invisible. However if you use the sweet chili sauce on the rice it gives it a punch! Portion sizes were large-some too large. And usually that's a sign the food is probably not that great. Chicken Kimchi Stacker-The kimchi on the chicken sandwich was great but couldn't completely deliver enough flavor for the double fried bland chicken. It needed a special sauce to give it a kick. As for the entrees, we wrapped them up for take home. I added more scallions and rice vinegar and a touch of lite soy sauce to the fried rice. And I would probably go back to try other items. I would definitely return for the bar, and great Rangoon dip! Overall, No explosion or burst of flavors but it is well prepared and well presented food with a great staff.

Rex's absolutely delivered on their Indian-Thai fusion concept. The Pad Kra Pao was delightful, packing a perfectly balanced spicy kick while the meat and vegetables were cooked beautifully -- fresh, vibrant, and full of flavor. We also tried the tikka masala schnitzel, which was a generous portion and just as delicious as it was creative. The sauce had rich depth, bold spice, and paired surprisingly well with the crisp schnitzel. Also, the cocktail menu didn't disappoint -- inventive, well-balanced, and a perfect complement to the meal.

The Food was a 10 the service was a 10 and the atmosphere 10 we will definitely be going back

Rex's has become our favorite local restaurant. Staff is great and the place is hopping. The food is wonderful. The crab Rangoon dip is a must have.

The food is incredible. Tikka Masala Schnitzel was delicious. The sauce was extremely flavorful and the schnitzel was perfectly crisp. The crab rangoon dip and calamari are a must try! Then when you thought it could not get better the Thai tea cheesecake was probably the best dessert I've ever had. The staff was so nice and attentive to our large party. It's such a cute space with a funky vibe. If I'm ever back to Little Rock I will be back.

The diner is curated with decor, but is an open box. There is no room for privacy here! At times it can be noisy and busy feeling. The food tastes delicious! Service is personal and focused.

Found out this new business is here, wanted to give it a try. We were seated quickly, service was fast and great. Ambience of this place was very calming. I tried the Turkey pad kra pow, very unique flavor but tastes amazing none the less! Crab Rangoon dip was amazing as well and the chips were definitely cooked fresh! 10/10 will eat here again.

I don't say this lightly--it was an absolute delight and privilege to dine at Southern Tail…read moreBrewing. The atmosphere is great; the space was huge with indoor and outdoor seating, with a kind of vibe that is perfect for an evening out with friends. We made a last-minute reservation for a group of 22 (yikes!) at 6:30pm on a Thursday, and they happily accommodated us. We were seated in a private back room with plenty of space, and the décor was absolutely adorable (peep the photos!). I strategically sat next to friends who were willing to split appetizers, entrées, and dessert, which gave me the perfect opportunity to sample a few of their signature dishes. We started with the Beer Cheese & Pretzel and the Brussels & Bacon, and both were fantastic. The Brussels were the standout, wonderfully charred with a smoky flavor, while the maple bacon added just the right amount of sweetness to balance everything. For our entrées, we shared the STB Craft Burger and the Chicago Hot Dog. Choosing a favorite was nearly impossible, but the hot dog ultimately won me over. The toasted poppy seed bun was chef's kiss, and the combination of pickled vegetables and relish made every bite pop with flavor. But friends ... do yourself a favor and order the brownie à la mode (or, strategically place yourself between friends that like to share because we also got the honey vanilla sundae. ). I'm not being dramatic when I say it's the best brownie I've ever had. It wasn't dense, yet it wasn't cakey either--it existed in that beautiful, perfect, magical space between the two. Warm, rich, perfectly textured, and paired with ice cream... "otherworldly" is the only word that comes to mind. I'm only visiting from out of state, but I would gladly return to Little Rock just for another meal here. An incredible dining experience from start to finish.

What really sets this place apart, though, is the customer service. I have alpha-gal syndrome, which can make dining out challenging, but the staff here went above and beyond to make sure my meal was prepared safely. They were knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely cared about getting everything right. That level of effort and awareness means a lot. I ordered the shrimp po'boy, and it was fantastic--fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Experiences like this are rare, and it's the reason I keep coming back. I highly recommend this brewery to anyone looking for great food, excellent beer, and truly exceptional service!
