So I was in Arkansas for a few days visiting family. When I'm outta town I wanna try a restaurant I don't have slat home. And on top of it I was in town for my birthday, so I was really looking for something different. So we came to Cache! The restaurant has a nice vibe to it! Dell was our server and he was on it . Made suggestions, but wasn't pushy. Checked in regularly and was an overall cool dude. Now to the food: Go with the sautéed crab claws! Period!! Very flavorful. Just enough meat to make you want more. And the toasted crustinees added a nice compliment. Also had the crab cakes. I like them a lot but I enjoy crab cakes. But they were meaty and didn't just easily fall apart. The menu was a bit weird I'll say, because most the entrees came with sides, but none of the sides were sides they already had on the menu. For instance I had the New York Strip and it came with a huge baked potato, and Brussels sprouts. But the sides they have on the menu are like greens, Mac and cheese, French fries. So if your entree comes with sides, why would I order an another separate side. But hey that's a business decision. Overall when Im back in Arkansas I would check it out again. read more

Hey Fam, if you are lookin for a good dinner experience... do NOT go here!!! First off let me tell you the staff were terribly rude, it took out waiter 23 minutes just to ask us what we wanted to drink (yes fam I timed it as usual) and when the guy finally showed up he was extremely short with us and didn't even ask if we wanted appetizers! (Which we didn't but that's not the point) Well anyways fam, this place is not family friendly either, the wine bottles on the wall are basically encouraging my kids to drink! Where is the Playplace at? Anywho, my husband ordered a rare 18 oz steak (per usual) and if y'all have read any of my previous reviews you KNOW my husband highly values his steak quality..... Let me tell you..... This ABOMINATION of a restaurant gave my husband a.. well...done....steak...I think he may have gone into cardiac arrest when he cut that steak because he actually gagged at the sight of it, that is a feat NO ONE has ever done. We paid and left right there and that night was the only time I had every even considered a dine and dash (don't worry I paid Im not a criminal) but the bill came out to a whopping $142.64! My wife and I were there celebrating our 10th anniversary. It wasn't a busy night, which was nice, because it was quiet and we got really good service from Justin. For an appetizer we shared the pork belly. This is a good sized sharing portion which was very nice, because many restaurants give you only small portions for an appetizer. My wife had the Seabass for dinner, and I had the short rib. Everything was amazing! I can't say enough about how good it was. It was "eyes roll back in your head" good! For dessert we couldn't decide, because we were really full. So we shared the crème brûlée. Everything about that was delicious too, the whipped cream and berries were a nice touch. I was genuinely impressed by the freshness of the seafood--everything tasted like it was caught that morning. The crab claws were on the smaller side but obviously fresh. What really stood out was the sauce that came with them--absolutely addicting. We ended up dipping everything in it. The tuna wonton dish, however, didn't quite hit the mark. It sounded great on the menu but felt underwhelming compared to the other standout plates. You can tell they do a lot of side work--the attention to detail and flavor in the accompaniments really elevated the experience. I'll definitely be back to try more! Came for Mother's Day weekend and what a treat. Seriously, a lamb chop dinner being less than a pasta dish ? Not too many places can say that, but it was delicious and melt in your mouth tender. I'd never heard of Olive mashed potatoes before coming here either, but it definitely adds a punch to the bite when you combine it with the meat and sautéed kale...don't even get me started on the kale, omg. I could eat three sides of that alone and be content. I came with my fiancé, fiancé's mother and his sister. His mother also ordered the lamb. His sister got the ribeye & my fiancé got the grilled salmon. No one was dissatisfied. Especially when it came to the drinks. Our server really took care of us, dare I say spoiled us from start to finish. The ambiance of the main level is chic but intimate. There's modern decor throughout, and the side we sat on happened to open up towards the side street so we got to watch the trolley drive through & people watch a bit. Very scenic view and not too noisy. I would just caution those who may have allergies to be aware of that in case you need to sit elsewhere. Cache is a vibe. Cute restaurant located in the heart of downtown Little Rock, my attendance was for a birthday dinner or a sorority sister. Because it's downtown they do offer complimentary valet..a huge plus!! The restaurant is cute, music was playing, r&b and pop hits, I loved that! My only drawback was the temperature, I was freezing! The food was amazing. Only draw back with food, because we had such a large party, they brought out everyone's food at the same time so some had become room temperature. Another issue is that they charge you to swap out the sides.. I had the blackened chicken scampi, the chicken was amazing. I also had the patron flight, recommended by our server Donte..for $20...3 shots, you can't beat that. I also had the lavender french 75..that was really good too. For my 36th birthday, my spouse took me to Cache, and from the moment we pulled up, I could tell this was supposed to give that luxe energy. Complimentary valet? Yes, please! Walking through the doors, the ambiance was eclectic, upscale, and stylish, setting the tone for a special night. And they absolutely treated me like a queen. The staff went all out, making sure I felt celebrated--free dessert, sparklers, the works. It was a lovely surprise and such a thoughtful touch to end the meal. The food tasted really good, especially the buerre blanc sauce on the salmon (chef's kiss). But here's the thing... we just weren't that hungry. No one's fault, but it meant we didn't fully dive in the way we normally would. Best believe we ate our leftovers, though. If I had to pinpoint something that kept this from being a full five-star experience, it's that I wish the food had a bit more creativity. It was yummy, well-executed, and high quality, but it didn't quite wow me in a way that made it feel memorable. Maybe it's just me, but for a place this upscale, I expected a little more of that "I've never had anything like this before" factor. That being said, the service? Absolutely phenomenal. Our waitress was over-the-top excited and helpful--she was talking to everybody like she was hosting the party herself, and honestly? I loved that energy. At the end of the day, Cache delivers on the assignment. I have to say that Cache has ruined me! I absolutely love the beautiful delicious food they present. The service is spectacular! Jo Jo is our favorite. She's helpful, charming and fun. It's a beautiful place to visit too. It is my favorite place to eat in Little Rock. A group of us went Wednesday night. We always order appetizers to share. This place is great! Very stylish interior, seriously so cute inside. Two stories and upstairs is a big bar. Downstairs restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating. Came for brunch and both the host and waiter were very nice. In fact we came in with my baby who needed a diaper change, downside was they did not have a changing table in the bathroom. We left to go change her else where, but when we came back they held the booth for us hoping we would come back. Every bite of food was delicious. Get the Tuna Wontons!! I love how each wonton is the perfect bite with everything on it. I ate them all lol. Also had was the giant, fresh wedge salad. And we also shared the garlic parm truffle fries which were the best I've ever had. Very crispy and flavorful and I could eat the whole bowl of them. Went here for Valentine's day (both of our first times), and I was quite disappointed. Out the gate, it was $150 per person with an automatic 20% gratuity and 7% convenience fee so $400 before drinks, taxes or anything. We had the seared tuna - good. Kind of a miso vibe. It tasted fine, and it was exactly as expected of a seared tuna. Nothing special. Pork belly - delicious but one piece: roughly 1"x1" so incredibly small. Tomato bisque - amazing. Best item of the night. The truffle foam was unnecessary and not that great, but the bisque overtook it's flavor well. We both ordered the filet, and both came out with a good sear. However, we both ordered rare, and it was medium in the center while closer to well on the edges. I asked for mine to be sent back (I didn't order medium), and I was told no. The whipped potatoes were just plane mashed potatoes. Nothing special, and I don't believe they were seasoned in any way. Asparagus was asparagus. The black forest cake was good, but the cherries were an odd addition. Turtle cheesecake was great! All in all, I would not go here again. read more

I feel this place is overpriced for what you receive. I can appreciate they are trying to achieve a fine dining experience but I feel like the food misses the mark. The restaurant itself is very beautiful and servers were kind and attentive. Our server, JoJo, was very nice and regularly checked on us. I think it could be a nice place to have drinks if you're willing to pay the surcharge of being there. The food is just okay. Very limited vegetarian options for entrees. I ordered the scampi pasta and asked if I could get it with no meat. I do appreciate that JoJo offered to add more vegetables to it and noted the price would change to reflect there was no meat in my dish. When my pasta arrived, I felt like it was just okay and like something I could make at home. Outstanding food with friendly and knowledgeable staff. A wonderful craft cocktail program that works beautifully with the food. The candied bacon is sublime. The shrimp cocktail and oysters on the half shell are great starters. We've been here five or six times and food quality and flavor have always been excellent. Great Martini with the option of blue cheese stuffed olives! We started off ordering the meat and cheese board. It came out looking great but only contained 2 meats one of which was pepperoni and 1 cheese which might have been a fried brie. There were lots of other things on the board like grapes, strawberries dried apricots, and pecans. When I order a meat and cheese board I expect more than two meats and one cheese. I do realize the other items complement the flavors of the meat and cheese. The fact that it felt misleading led me to not risk ordering dinner. read more

Slightly upscale restaurant within walking distance from The Marriott, Double Tree, or Capitol Hotel on President Ave, across from River Market. I was looking particularly for patio dining, and they had both ground level and upstairs patios for outdoor dining. At 7pm on a Monday, it wasn't crowded at all with no wait to be seated on the upstairs patio, and the service was friendly, quick, and responsive. There was a small bar menu with 4-5 bar food offerings, and the normal dinner menu with a handful of apps and entree choices (not super extensive, but a little of something for all palates). I was feeling more snackish than famished (and not looking to dish out $50 for a plate i would only eat a quarter of) so I just ordered the Hummus w/ Pita and a side of Roasted Brussels w/ Pancetta. It was just okay at best, nothing to write home about. The meals that were coming out around me all looked great though. All in all it was a cute little spot, but if I ever find myself back there I'll make sure its for an actual meal or maybe a cocktail or two (the martinis looked good and the patio would be the perfect spot to enjoy one on). read more

Planned an anniversary dinner at my wife's favorite "fine dining" restaurant a month in advance. We arrived and were sat near a very large group. After about 20 minutes the bartender advised us our server was over burdened with the large group and she would take our order. We received our food which was amazing but never really saw anyone again until a desert menu was dropped. We were considering trying the bananas foster to salvage the evening but they didn't come back until we were just ready for the check. Spent 200 on dinner and left feeling like we wasted the money. Then had to tip the valet. I submitted feedback on their website but never heard back. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant under the current management. read more

It is hard to communicate with a person when they are always walking away from the table as they are talking to you. My daughter and I were in town for business, I live in Venice, CA and she is the executive in charge of food at UW in Seattle. She is not only very good chef, she is very picky. We were hoping to taste the bone marrow but after being closed for 2 months, it was not in the menu any longer. Beautiful high-end dinner house with Americana dish undertones. Menu offers a variety of apps and mains which include fish, beef, pork, lamb and chicken. Every single thing we tried was absolutely delicious. I ordered a wedge salad to start with homemade blue cheese dressing that was rich and flavorful topped with tons of bacon and vine ripened tomato and crisp iceberg. Shrimp and Grits was my main, again outstanding. My husband ordered the pork chop which came with fresh asparagus. broccolini and an incredible risotto side dish. We also ordered the truffle fries as a side which were to die for. Beautiful wine list and many craft cocktails to choose from. We arrived late at 9pm and they were gracious and service phenomenal. I visited this restaurant for the first time and it was different than I expected. I thought It was supposed to be upscale because of the prices and the valet parking (complimentary) but it really wasn't. I expected fabulous but it was just fine for me. Casual atmosphere: The hostess didn't offer a formal greeting and didn't even stop her conversation with another staff member to thank us for visiting when we left. The wait staff was REALLY friendly but more casual than expected. The music was current, no instrumentals or adaptations. They don't have a dress code. You can wear sneakers for example. Also they have a seating area next to a big screen TV that was tuned in to a sports channel. It was all fine to me (except the hostess) but all together it made the environment seem less upscale than I expected. The food: Our table ordered candied bacon. This is five bacon strips that are sweet but peppery. Comes with sour pickles and something that looked like onions. I didn't taste that. I'd order it again. We also ordered a crab cake. I love crab cakes but this one was a let down because it was $22 and very breaded. I prefer a lump crab cake. I wouldn't order this again. My friend ordered shrimp and grits. I tried it. The grits were not tender enough for my taste but she LOVED it. Especially the sauce. Entrees were Tuscan chicken, thumbs up all around. Lamb chops; another thumbs up and Salmon which is what I ordered. It was cooked beautifully but it needed more seasoning. The asparagus was cooked perfectly. I'd order it again if it could be blackened. Everyone seemed to like their cocktails. My friend ordered the Daisy Bates and she seemed to like hers the most. The others had one with blueberries and one with pomegranate vodka. The desserts were all absolutely divine. I don't eat bread pudding or creme brûlée but everyone who ordered those LOVED them. They brought us chocolate ale by mistake and it was SO good. We paired dessert with coffee. I drink my coffee black and it was really good, strong cup of coffee. Our group was celebrating something VERY special (the reservationist never even asked) and we were seated next to the kitchen. In the future I'll request a better seat if possible. It wasn't busy. I'd probably visit them again but with lower expectations. Maybe I'd go for a snack and cocktail unless the menu changes. read more
