So I'm writing this review whilst in the restaurant for the first time. For starters, there are a LOT of families with children this particular Friday. Just so you know. A LOT!! This lets you know it's very "family friendly." Ambiance of the space is nice. I'll say three steps up, above "basic." It's very on "theme" with the "Orange" concept. Albeit my waitress was good, she didn't know WHY the restaurant was called "The Big Orange," or what it meant. That's an "onboarding" oversight. So, apparently they cook to order, as I ordered prior to beginning this review, and it has yet to arrive. I like that. I ordered the "Breakfast Burger." I'm pissed because I didn't tell her, (and she didn't ask), the temperature I wanted it to be. It came well done!! I HATE well done. I'm sure it would have been phenomenal had it been medium rare, the way I love my burgers. Oh well. Lesson learned. read more

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary with a road trip, we stopped in Little Rock and went to Pinnacle Mountain. After the hike we were both pretty hungry and asked around for food suggestions, a gentleman recommended Big Orange. Walked in and was greeted by the host, love the space, very warm and inviting..hints of MCM decor. Our waiter was awesome very friendly and broke down the menu and its offerings to us. I got the Umami burger and truffle fries, I was so sad when that plate was empty...food was great, 10/10 would definitely go back. read more

The big orange has great food, i got the Arkansas sharp cheddar and bacon burger with the onion on the side and sweet potato fried. The burger was amazing, the bun was toasted great and the meat was premium and made well done to my preference. The sweet potato fries were amazing with a perfect crunch and a good amount of salt. The service was great with humble kind servers looking to help us in any way. The ambiance was alright, it could be better but for where it is located and for the good prices on the food ill give it a higher than average rating. Overall im coming back here to try a shake and a salad. 8/10 ambiance could be better. read more

Their burgers and salads are always great. I have tried most of their burgers but Something about their veggie patty that is unique is that, it doesn't want to be a traditional beef patty. Like some "impossible burger" patties. I feel like a lot of vegetarians would love this option as it's so flavorful and it is very filling as well. The Good: My husband liked his burger. The Meh: Nobody offered condiments with his meal, and there were none on the table. I wanted a turkey burger, but they were out of turkey patties. Okay, glad they had enough business to run out. Cool cool cool. What was aggravating is that either they didn't train the server to straight up tell you up front during intros/appetizer collection that they were 86 on turkey patties, they didn't tell FOH to alert at the hostess station... or the server didn't care to share until it was time to order. So instead I got the falafel thing and it was honestly kinda mid. Not winning any awards, but not horrible either. It tasted rushed and I don't personally think the lentils were totally done. The Ick: The cheese dip that we paid $9 for came out tepid. Not warm, not hot - tepid, and was cold in just a few minutes. Def not their best work on that one, tbh. read more

Really good. Wife got pimento cheese burger with half & half patty and we both really liked it. I got Umami burger (half & half patty as it comes) and has the extra mushrooms, onions, and strong Havarti cheese flavor. It was a bit more overpowering and couldn't taste the beef very much. I don't regret ordering it, but if I went back I would order the pimento burger or something else. read more

Nice burger spot in an outdoor mall. For the table we got the State Fair Chili Fries which was actually really good. The whole table liked it. For my burger I got The Reaper but tbh it wasn't anything special. I can definitely handle a lot of spice so maybe that's why this wasn't spicy to me at all so it actually tasted very bland to me. The only flavor I could taste was of the pickled jalapeños. My friend got the White Truffle Pecorino and that was DELICIOUS! I really wish I ordered that because it had great flavor and was different. I highly suggest anyone to try it if they come here. read more

I found this recommendation in a travel article and it did not disappoint. We normally look for turkey burgers and gluten free buns and with this location got the bonus of dairy free milkshakes!! The service was friendly and quick even though they were busy and the food was excellent. My husband had the grouper on the gluten free bun with regular fries. I ended up with the beef hamburger with the garlic truffle fries and the vanilla dairy free milkshake. Everything was yummy and reasonably priced especially for people who have food allergies. We ordered take-out and are extremely disappointed. The salad looked ok but I wasn't given any silverware so I couldn't actually eat it as a whole. I ate the fruit because I could pick it up with my hands but everything else was wasted. My husband got a burger so he was able to eat it without utensils. It was room temperature and, as he described, "edible." We were really excited for the over-priced milk shakes, which are what compelled us to order from Big Orange in the first place. I ordered a vanilla with no whipped cream (I can't have whipped cream) and my husband ordered chocolate peanut butter. We were given two watery, gritty melted ones that weren't even close to the flavors we ordered. Judging by the hardened sludge stuck to the the bottom, I'm assuming they gave us some kind of cookie. Great location and convenient when you are in the area. As far as food is concerned the burgers all taste the same. It's just a variation of the same burger and regardless which you choose they all taste the same. I frequent both locations but each time there's a bad experience, it's here with the same server. She is super slow and barely polite! Today, the food took way too long and I had to search for the waitress. Much later, I inquired about the food and ordered a shake. Only part of the order came out bc they had to remake my turkey burger (it was beef by mistake). The waitress failed to communicate the error and inform me of the delay. Then the shake comes out early. When my food is finally brought to the table, it was made incorrectly. The waitress showed no concern and was passive aggressive about it. I spent 1.5 hours and all I had were fries (sent burger back). The waitress was slow about bringing the check and seemed confused by my payment of choice. (They don't have Apple Pay but can type in your card info manually). She did not want to do that, very passive aggressive. Then gave me a pen that didn't work. The service almost always sucks at the Chenal Little Rock location but the food is great. We LOVE the one in Rogers.

Burger... nirvana. I kid you not. This has to rank in my top five (maybe top three?) of best burgers I've ever had. Juicy, cooked EXACTLY to order (that's not always easy to find), and amazingly tasty. It was pure burger goodness, hard to describe, but impossible to forget. The drinks were creative, seasonal, and perfectly crafted. Their bartender was unassuming, but clearly knew his way around the place. Expertly made libations. The appetizer, the pimento cheese spread, was so good, and the accoutrements were equally delicious. I would have kept eating it, but I had to save room for the burger. Speaking of room... fries are a la carte, but we tried to split the State Fair Fries (or whatever they were called). Mistake. We had no room left. But, we did try them at least, and man... so bad for you... which means they were SO GOOD! The chili was hearty and clearly homemade (I hope), the toppings were delightfully sinful, and the fries alone were perfect. The service was the real winner, though, oddly enough. Our server was prompt and attentive, but without being intrusive. We didn't notice how long the entrees were taking, but the manager came by to personally apologize for the wait. They comped the burgers, which was super nice and totally unnecessary, but very much appreciated. But, we were having such a good time, we might not have even noticed. It was a very nice gesture, though, and it really shows that they care about your visit. This was just a great dining experience. I would definitely stop in again if I'm in the neighborhood! read more
