The son and I were getting hungry and the large mural for this restaurant caught our eye. We said let's give it a shot! We walked in to a large employee meeting they were having at tables near the registers. This felt strange as only a couple people were actually working and there was a manager talking to the entire staff that this or that can get you fired. Finally someone who was actually working took our order as he darted back and forth from kitchen to register. It's obvious there is no employee lounge but there has to be a better way to conduct meetings and communicate within the staff. We were never given a number or anything so we waited at the registers for quite a while after ordering. We finally saw him bring food to another couple who had been waiting since we walked and figured out, oh we sit and they bring it out. It would not have been hard for the employee to let us know we could sit. There was nothing ultimate about the ultimate chicken sandwich. Didn't even come with tomato and they forgot the lettuce. It was dry and bland. I reached for a napkin and there were none to be found in the dispenser. (I just grabbed a dispenser from another table easy enough) My son's cheeseburger was fine according to him but we both agreed the fries were awful. Barely warm at the start of the meal and cold and stale by the end of it, the shoestring fries were as edible as an actual shoe. Nothing remarkable about the steamed broccoli no seasoning to be found but at least it was in fact, real steamed broccoli, even though it didn't come out until we were halfway through our dinner. 3/4 into the meal a manager named Jasmine came to ask how things were and pleaded for honesty. She was absolutely fantastic and provided top tier customer service as she listened to me and did everything she could to make it right, including treating my son and I to very tasty milkshakes. This woman deserves a raise, I could tell she was sincere and cares about customers and the food. The food tastes ok. The fries were warm. I think the place still smells of donuts. Nothing at all special about the inside ambiance. Don't use the kiosk, as it does not get it correct. No one came to the counter for several minutes. There were only two workers there. The sandwich's were soaked in grill oil. The bread just fell apart. The lady that waited on us apparently does not like her job. We gave it a try but not ever for a second chance. read more

I arrived on 21DEC2025 at the Residence Inn after a long day of traveling. I asked the front desk clerk if he liked Beef-a-Roo and I told him I wanted something close and fast. I had the $5.00 meal deal with roast beef and cheddar cheese, fries, and sweet tea. The service was fast and the manager was very nice. The roast beef was tender and delicious. The fries were thin and crispy. The sweet tea tasted good and tasted fresh, not stale. Best $5 meal that I have ever had! If I am in Little Rock again, I will enjoy another great meal at Beef-a-Roo! read more

The food was fresh & hot. My family all had the $5.55 meal deal. For the price the amount of food you get is definitely better than McDonald's. The chicken strips were juicy and crunchy. The service was fast & prompt. Very friendly workers. The aesthetic of the restaurant is adorable.. I highly recommend eating here for a fresh cheeseburger and fries. My boss and I went to Walmart to pick up some necessities for the week while staying in Little Rock AR for business, and we came across Beef-a-Roo on the way to Walmart, so we decided to try it out for dinner. This did appear to be brand new because we saw boxes of Tshirts on one table that had not been touched by the staff. The place was empty for a Monday night, but it is not unusual. The ambiance was definitely a nice fast food restaurant, but very casual. We went to the kiosk to order our food from the menu , and the staff called our number on the ticket to let us know when it was ready for pick up. I ordered the pork tenderloin with fries. It was actually very good and had excellent flavor. The texture of the bun and pork tenderloin was just perfect. The fries were cooked perfectly and tasted good as well. My boss enjoyed his mushroom swiss burger and fries as well. This was a nice fast food restaurant in Little Rock AR, and I do hope it lasts for a long time. read more

I've always had a good experience here. It tasted better than Arby's and is less expensive. The calories in the beef sandwiches are less, too. The staff is always really friendly and the food I have gotten from here seems to be fresh. I've had experiences via app/drive thru, take out, and eating in. Great place for a roast beef and cheddar! My husband got one of the wraps and couldn't finish in one sitting, they are pretty big! read more

Well first off the pictures are misleading. The burgers look NOTHING like the adds, but whose does now and days. Walking in the ambiance was very non homey feeling. More like a hospital cafeteria. Menu is vast. I landed on the bbq burger that was bland and just mid. Fries are shoe string style. Mid. Also got the cheese curds. They were the reason for my 2 star. They were actually good. Chocolate shake needed more shaking. Had to wait until it melted some to actually drink it. Will not be my go to place. read more

I ordered off the web and signed up for their rewards program which instantly earned me $5 off. A good beginning. We ordered cheeseburger, regular fries, grilled cheese sandwich, loaded baked potato and the peanut butter crispy desert. Negatives first: fries were cold, the only thing in the bag that was and was seasoned fine but ho hum. They have several variations of fries. This one was 4 out of 10. Baked potato was good, but order was incorrect. Instead of loaded potato it was just bacon and cheese. The liquid cheese is slightly better than gas station nacho cheese. Why not actual cheese? The chocolate covered crispy- which is large enough for two- was placed on top of warm food. Chocolate topping was melted. Seriously? Tasted as you would expect. Positives: grilled cheese was very good-- the star of this order. Bread was perfectly grilled and buttered, crunchy and tasty with perfect balance of bread and cheese. Only question: it looked like the they used a large bread slice, cut it in half and served it with the halves pressed together. Looks like you receive half a sandwich. No matter, your kids will love it- and you will too. Burger was cooked well and tasty. Don't let the five oz fool you- it's a good burger. What you have to like about this place is you can go junk and you can go healthy. Looking forward to trying the Mahi sandwich and impressive choices of salads, soups and chili. This was our first time and we will definitely be back. The staff welcomed us and were friendly. They were patient with us and helpful the whole time. The food was hot, fresh, and so good!! We had the turkey avocado wrap, a burger, a mushroom swiss sandwich, cheese curds, and loaded fries. All were perfect. We placed a Togo order on our way out. The dining area, drink station, and restrooms were clean and organized. After the stress of the holidays, it was so nice to be welcomed into a place and treated as kindly as we were. I recently visited thru the drive through and chose Fish instead of Beef! Y'all, they have a Mahi Mahi sandwich that would rival many of the more expensive places in town. I may have to try their beef sandwich someday! I will definitely return for a fish sandwich! read more

This place started in Rockford, IL. They recently expanded beyond northern Illinois. To start, if drive thru, you cannot see menu from passenger seat. God forbid you ask about a menu item. You'll get, what do you mean whats an olive burger? No descriptions and staff is clueless. Fries were inedible as many other reviews state. Turkey dry and crumbly, bacon on sandwich, need a magnifying glass to find. Sweet potato fries were good! This was my first experience with Beef-A-Roo and it was highly recommended by my girlfriend and her mother. My first impression was "holy cow, their menu is big". I didn't look long, I was hungry; I ordered a double bacon cheeseburger, large fries and a Mountain Dew with plans on trying some of my girlfriend's onion rings. At first glance the burger patty gave high hopes, it looked like hand patted ground beef not a thin pre-frozen product. I had two patties and bacon, the bacon however was thin as paper. The beef was really salty, so much so I couldn't finish it. I also didn't receive tomato on my burger because I failed to read the menu that said you have to request tomato. Maybe me adding tomato would have balanced the salt lick of a burger. Oh..the fries, they were thin and dry like eating flavorless twigs. My girlfriend's onion rings tasted like they'd been fried in fish grease. I couldn't help her eat the onion rings so they ended up in the trash. I really wanted to like Beef-A-Roof, maybe I'll try them again sometime.... but I doubt it. read more
