Hungry and passing through Little Rock on a roadtrip, we found Frontier Diner on our route. The parking lot was pretty packed and judging from the crowd inside, it looked like the place to be for the locals, but we felt very welcomed. They open early but close in the early afternoon, so make sure you get there before 2pm. Or 1pm on Saturdays! Our breakfast was delicious. The service was fast and friendly. Prices were great. I got a sweet tea, hash browns, bacon, and a biscuit. I left full & happy. There was plenty of parking. We were traveling with a van and had no issues. Came here for the first time not too long ago during brunch time not knowing what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised. Walking in we were greeted like we were family which I thought was really nice and welcoming. Our waitress was friendly and was able to answer my questions and helped me with my order. The reviews are an understatement this food was so delicious, we had bacon eggs pancakes and the all time favorite was the side of biscuits and gravy. This place has been around for a long time. It's hard to see how the prices have changed since 3 years plus...but I guess that's everywhere. Sorry, but our party did not have a good experience on a Monday morning. Not enough servers, coffee not hot, no cream, unable to get the attention of the server, overcharged with cashier not able to figure out how to correct it and worse- everyone in the party had digestive issues throughout the day. This is a staple place so maybe a bad day-- but given everyone got stomach and bathroom issues all day is real cause for concern that something isn't right. read more

They were kinda busy, but my waitress was super friendly and helpful. I got the Hog Wild. I couldn't get enough!!! The ham slice... heaven. Thick and juicy. 08/24/19- Super friendly atmosphere. What I personally ordered was basic for breakfast so I can't say much abt it but it was really good! Reminds me of a place in my town Fort Smith, called Benson's. Have to say I have not been this disappointed in a restaurant in a long time. First off we went for breakfast did not realize they stop serving breakfast at 10:30, so ok no biggy we will do lunch. I ordered a veggie plate, only thing very good was the okra. I have never been one to walk away from Mac and cheese or mashed potatoes but left both barely touched.
