    Breakfast Sampler
    Eve S.

Everything was great. It is a bright, clean, casual diner with a farm-to-table sensibility. $15-$20 a plate, but all the food was quality made and flavorful. The only thing that was not exceptional was the "home fries," which were deep fried instead of grilled and lacked any seasoning or additional ingredients- just cubes and fried. For two people we got out for under $60. My wife had the avocado on toast and, again, everything including the bread felt like it was artisanal. Our server was prompt and polite, checking in on us a few times and asked us about our day. This is our best dining experience over the course of a few days in Little Rock.

Classic chicken and waffles, Breakfast Sampler with biscuit, grits and a side of gravy

My husband and I had a short visited to Little Rock and we stopped here for breakfast. The service was outstanding, the food was great and we loved the atmosphere of the restaurant! We ordered the classic chicken and waffles and the breakfast sampler (with the biscuit and grits option). Everything was delicious and so flavorful! Also love that they locally source their food.

This corner diner is a hit! I was happy to read positive reviews prior to dining. My party of five enjoyed our meal, from chicken and waffles to omelettes. The pancakes were hot and fluffy. The biscuits were mouthwatering delicious, and the drinks were one of a kind. It was exciting to try a different drink, contrary to the usual drinks offered at many restaurants. The music was not too loud, and staff were patient and attentive. The crowd proved that this restaurant can back up its reputation. The location is within walking distance of many local restaurants and the river district. I will return again in the future. Arrive early to secure the best parking space. Also, there is only one shared bathroom in the building.

Great place to pop in for a quick bit of breakfast and lively conversation. It's a small eatery and apparently pretty popular, but the lines move fast and there are several seating areas next to large windows, perfect for people-watching. Parking is available directly across the street for a nominal fee (about $3/hr).

In downtown Little Rock, this is by far the most popular spot. We were staying at the RV park just across the walking bridge, so it was an easy walk. When we arrived around 8 a.m. on a weekday, the place was nearly empty, but it filled up quickly while we were there. If something on a menu mentions rhubarb, I am in. The monthly special was a French toast with rhubarb and strawberry sauce, and it was just as good as it sounds. My husband went for a kind of sampler platter, and the surprise standout on his plate was the cheese grits. Even he said they were delicious, and he normally doesn't care for grits. The bacon here is a star in its own right--just thick enough and perfectly crispy. The only thing I think they could improve on would be the breakfast potatoes, which were a little underwhelming. Service was excellent. Ava took great care of us, and the bathroom was neat and clean. Definitely worth a visit. I REALLY anted to try some of the house-made pastries, but next time that sticky bun is calling my name!!!!...

I will be thinking about this biscuit and jam for a long time! Plus super nice and attentive staff.

Great weekend spot for breakfast or lunch! The cowboy breakfast was excellent! Service needs a little work, our waiter was nowhere to be found for a while which was frustrating but I'm sure he was busy with other orders in the back. Management should definitely hire more staff for weekends.

When we have the time while in Little Rock we always head over to this spot to enjoy a tasty brunch. This time my friend and I each ordered something different so we could split it up and share, which is honestly the best way to do it! I went with the waffle-wich was a breakfast sandwich with the bread as waffles and had syrup and potatoes on the side. It was super tasty. We also did the avocado toast which we enjoyed but I will say I am not the biggest fan of toast/ bread with a bunch of seeds in it which this bread was but it was topped with a ton of avocado which is always a plus. See you next year!

I had a wonderful experience at @ The Corner. I ordered the sweet potato hash, so much flavor, I loved it. I had a side of creamy grits. My sister order chicken and waffles, that she enjoyed. It was a Tuesday so it wasn't super busy. The ambiance is casual, modern diner.

Absolutely love this place. I frequent the establishment on the weekends when I'm in town and I somehow became a regular-- most of the employees have been so hospitable with their greetings and farewells. I do remember once -- just once, they forgot about me (I was sitting in a patio table that wasn't in view from the inside so I understand) and they apologized sincerely and I even got a drink on the house to make up for it! The food is always delicious and the service impeccable. They have seasonal specials making it an exciting aspect of their menu

This place is so good! It's on the corner of Markham and Scott. The view is nice as I was seated by the window. I ordered the Pancake Party of the day: Coconut cream pie pancake as well as the breakfast sampler. When I tell you the grits (from the sampler) were so good, it was so creamy and not too salty. I actually asked for some to go because they were THAT good. I highly recommend this place if you are in the North Little Rock area. There is paid parking across the street and curbside parking a few blocks away. This place is well-worth the visit! 10/10 will come back here again. My waitress was super nice and overall everyone was friendly. Definitely come here if you're in the area looking for a brunch spot.

I've personally worked my way through most of the menu over time, so I was excited for them to try it. It was around 9am so it was still fairly quiet and calm. Believe me it gets busy!! We started with orange juice and a Sunrise Matcha while we looked over the menu and caught up. The service was excellent (always) attentive, friendly, and relaxed, which made it easy to take our time. My companion ordered the B Street Bowl (potatoes, smoked brisket, onions, and peppers) with the queso served on the side and eggs cooked to order(fried hard). I ordered The Chenal which is their seasoned grilled shrimp with bacon, peppers, and tomatoes over cheesy grits. I added an over-medium egg and a side of hollandaise. Both dishes were delicious and incredibly satisfying. The portions were huge, and we each ended up taking a to-go box home for a mini meal later. It's the kind of brunch spot where you can sip your drink, take your time, and leave very full. Tip: If you order the B Street Bowl, getting the queso on the side lets you control the richness. Everything is amazing here. If you're a newbie, you can't go wrong with a Benedict!

It was lunchtime, and even though I thought I wanted something sweet like French toast the brisket wrap caught my eye, and I decided to give that a try instead. Meanwhile, the nice lady sitting next to me received her bananas, foster pancakes, and I immediately started kicking myself for not going that route. Her bananas were beautifully caramelized with quite a bit of sauce, topping the pancakes, and it looked heavenly. According to her, it was heavenly. Moments later, my brisket wrap arrived with the tiniest little container of a garlic aïoli, which was clearly homemade. The rap itself was jampacked full of succulent, perfectly cooked beef, but when you put a little bit of that aïoli on there, it really stepped its game up and shined! I left completely stuffed in a very happy camper and you will too. Enjoy!

Traveling through a Little Rock for work, my group decided to grab breakfast before flying out. We came in due to the raving reviews from a multitude of online sources and they did not disappoint. I ordered the Root Benny and the blueberry muffin based on the host's recommendation. First cut into my poached egg and I already knew it was the start of a culinary journey. Absolute flavor and texture perfection. The seasonal greens (steamed kale?) paired so well with the greens and the crostini was the perfect vehicle for yolk dipping. The blueberry muffin was small but delicious--exactly what you should expect from a muffin. I wish I would've remembered to order the cookies to go. I suppose I'll have to come back.

One of our friends (and a Little Rock native) recommended Boulevard Bread Company, and we're so grateful that we stopped to check this cute spot out! There are a few Boulevard locations in Little Rock, and while this one wasn't the most convenient to the highway, it was still open for lunch as we were driving through the city around 2:30 PM. I placed our order online from the road, so when we pulled in, our sandwiches were ready and waiting! I'm glad we did order ahead, as they were still pretty busy when we arrived. We grabbed a table and enjoyed our lunch inside the cafe. We split a couple of their signature sandwiches, and our favorite of the two was the pastrami. The rye bread pairs quite nicely with the roast beef. We also shared the turkey sandwich, which was good but not as memorable as the pastrami. I can confidently say that we'd make Boulevard our new go-to road trip stop in Little Rock! From the freshly baked bread and tasty sandwiches to the friendly service, this is a solid spot for lunch.

About 25 minutes later, we checked back in with the hostess, only to find out that the iPad they use to manage the waitlist had died. She apologized, and we were seated shortly afterward. However, it left us wondering how much longer we would have waited had we not checked in ourselves. To make matters more frustrating, we noticed at least one party that arrived after us was seated before we were. Unfortunately, the service didn't improve after we were seated. We sat at our table for about 10 minutes without being greeted by anyone. Several servers walked past, made eye contact with us, and continued on without offering menus, water, or even letting us know someone would be with us shortly. After waiting with no acknowledgment at all, we decided to leave. I understand that busy weekends can lead to delays, and mistakes like technology issues happen. What was most disappointing was the lack of communication and attentiveness throughout our visit. An acknowledgment or update would have gone a long way. We left feeling overlooked and unwelcome, and can't recommend this restaurant based on our experience.

So when I finally got the chance to stop by for an early dinner with a friend, I was excited. Unfortunately, the reality of the experience just didn't live up to the expectations. The two stars are strictly for the vibes--because eating outside under the stars on a warmed patio in the fall? That was beautiful. The atmosphere was exactly what I wanted: cozy, inviting, and perfect for a chill evening. Our server team was friendly, and everyone committed to us having a nice time there--including the cooks. But the food? Completely unseasoned. Everything was cooked well, but there was zero flavor. I mean, none. It felt like whoever made it had all the technique in the world but forgot to add even a pinch of salt. And because I met the cook, I'd venture to guess that's how Red Door told him to cook it. I'm pretty sure he seasons his food at home. For a place I had been waiting so long to try, the lack of flavor was a huge turnoff--especially since this spot ain't cheap. If you're coming for the ambiance, you'll have a great time. Just grab some appetizers and you'll be good to go. But if you're coming for flavorful food that makes you want to come back?
