Me and my wife caught a late lunch here just from a whim. It's a nice old diner set up with parking across the street. We were quickly met at the door and seated right away. The restaurant was fairly clean but did notice a few crumbs on the floor more than likely after effects from a very busy morning. Prices were a bit higher than what we expected especially for breakfast but it proved to be well worth it in taste. We had biscuits and gravy and a sausage egg and cheese biscuit with home fries and a side of gravy all very delicious. We did have a slip on our order but the waitress quickly fixed it and made us very happy. This is on our list of favorite breakfast spots in town for now on! read more

I wanted to like this place because the atmosphere is cool and it's in a great spot downtown, but my experience was just okay. Service was the biggest issue. It really wasn't that busy, but our server was pretty inattentive. We waited longer than we should have for simple things, and it was hard to get their attention. The food was decent, but my biscuit was basically falling apart the whole time, which made it kind of frustrating to eat. The biggest disappointment was the coffee. It honestly tasted like straight cleaning chemicals -- I took one sip and couldn't drink it after that. Not a terrible experience overall, but definitely not great either. Everything was great. It is a bright, clean, casual diner with a farm-to-table sensibility. $15-$20 a plate, but all the food was quality made and flavorful. The only thing that was not exceptional was the "home fries," which were deep fried instead of grilled and lacked any seasoning or additional ingredients- just cubes and fried. For two people we got out for under $60. My wife had the avocado on toast and, again, everything including the bread felt like it was artisanal. Our server was prompt and polite, checking in on us a few times and asked us about our day. This is our best dining experience over the course of a few days in Little Rock. read more

This corner diner is a hit! I was happy to read positive reviews prior to dining. My party of five enjoyed our meal, from chicken and waffles to omelettes. The pancakes were hot and fluffy. The biscuits were mouthwatering delicious, and the drinks were one of a kind. It was exciting to try a different drink, contrary to the usual drinks offered at many restaurants. The music was not too loud, and staff were patient and attentive. The crowd proved that this restaurant can back up its reputation. The location is within walking distance of many local restaurants and the river district. I will return again in the future. Arrive early to secure the best parking space. In downtown Little Rock, this is by far the most popular spot. We were staying at the RV park just across the walking bridge, so it was an easy walk. When we arrived around 8 a.m. on a weekday, the place was nearly empty, but it filled up quickly while we were there. If something on a menu mentions rhubarb, I am in. The monthly special was a French toast with rhubarb and strawberry sauce, and it was just as good as it sounds. My husband went for a kind of sampler platter, and the surprise standout on his plate was the cheese grits. Even he said they were delicious, and he normally doesn't care for grits. The bacon here is a star in its own right--just thick enough and perfectly crispy. The only thing I think they could improve on would be the breakfast potatoes, which were a little underwhelming. Service was excellent. Ava took great care of us, and the bathroom was neat and clean. Definitely worth a visit. The chicken and batter were trying to overpower one another every bite. (This is coming from the salt queen , according to my husband, who loves and tends to overseason.) When we have the time while in Little Rock we always head over to this spot to enjoy a tasty brunch. This time my friend and I each ordered something different so we could split it up and share, which is honestly the best way to do it! I went with the waffle-wich was a breakfast sandwich with the bread as waffles and had syrup and potatoes on the side. It was super tasty. We also did the avocado toast which we enjoyed but I will say I am not the biggest fan of toast/ bread with a bunch of seeds in it which this bread was but it was topped with a ton of avocado which is always a plus. I frequent the establishment on the weekends when I'm in town and I somehow became a regular-- most of the employees have been so hospitable with their greetings and farewells. This place is so good! It's on the corner of Markham and Scott. The view is nice as I was seated by the window. I ordered the Pancake Party of the day: Coconut cream pie pancake as well as the breakfast sampler. When I tell you the grits (from the sampler) were so good, it was so creamy and not too salty. I actually asked for some to go because they were THAT good. I highly recommend this place if you are in the North Little Rock area. There is paid parking across the street and curbside parking a few blocks away. This place is well-worth the visit! 10/10 will come back here again. While visiting Little Rock for a wedding we decided to visit a local restaurant for breakfast and oh boy I'm glad that ewe did! The food was sooo delicious and seasoned to perfection! I had the vegan garden hash made with mushrooms, kale, sweet potatoes and seasoned potatoes topped with avocado! The waitress made an excellent recommendation of the bread pudding! OMG the chef's kissed with an homemade whipped cream! And it was shareable! Really all of the portions are shareable! My wife and I have eaten grits all over the country, until today our favorite was shrimp and grits that we got out of New Orleans. But I will tell you, these grits are the best grits I have ever eaten. Even if the rest of the breakfast sucked, which it didn't, I would still come back just for these grits. The rest of the breakfast was very good. It is clear all of the breads that we ate. Today were homemade. They were delicious our waitress, Torrance, was super awesome and made sure that my wife had all of the ingredients she needed to drink her cup of coffee. As you can see one of the pictures we included, there was plenty of cinnamon, plenty of almond milk and plenty of Splenda. Torrance was very friendly and very accommodating throughout our meal. And I will also tell you, there is nothing better than a waitress who understands a full cup of coffee makes a happy customer. Torrance is that waitress! Two thumbs up to her. Even though we're only driving through town, we picked this restaurant based on the 50s theme. This is very much a 50s themed diner. Quaint spot with a nice vibe -- feels like a modern diner inspired by movie classics. Bottomless coffee for $3.50 was a plus. The coffee was standard, but I liked the little creamer and sugar dishes. Absolutely amazing! Why is this place not on Diners, drive-ins and dives? The inside has the feel of a modern old school diner. The staff is so friendly and on top of it. Every dish we ordered was fantastic. Pictures included. We ordered the energy bowl with over hard egg, waffle-which, cheeseburger and kids rise and shine, sub a pancake. I absolutely love going to @ the corner for breakfast or brunch. Their weekend chef's menu is enjoyable and I appreciate that it is always changing. I also think their classics are good as well. I've always found everyone who works there to be very kind and attentive. One time I ordered eggs Benedict without meat and one of the managers approached my table and asked if I would like avocado on it instead since I declined meat. I really appreciated the offer and accommodation. I also love the cute diner atmosphere! I love that they kept the outdoor seating to also allow for brunch on the patio. I dined at @The Corner on a Sunday and it was a pleasant experience. It's located on a corner in downtown Little Rock right by the trolley tracks. They have cute red chairs out front and a nice view of downtown. There was no wait when we arrived and we had a window seat. Customer service was prompt and very nice. I appreciate a menu that provides variety. The place is a "bit" cramped by the door area if you are waiting to be seated. The waitress brought us a carafe of water with glasses immediately and allowed us time to review the menu. The food was served in a timely manner and I was surprisingly impressed with the presentation and flavors of everything. I would definitely visit this location again. read more

I was on a road trip with my boyfriend and his brother and we decided to stop in Little Rock for some breakfast. We found this place after simply looking up breakfast spots in the area and decided to give it a shot. My boyfriend and I got a cinnamon roll to start, then I got a breakfast sampler for my main meal. The cinnamon roll was very warm and soft. It was the right amount of sweet and it was just so good. Even though cinnamon rolls are common, more than once I've had them at restaurants and been less than impressed so I'm glad that they were so good here. As for the breakfast sampler, I loovveedd it. I really enjoyed that I had a variety of things between the potatoes, eggs, fruit, and grits. I am one of those that in truth, if I have a savory breakfast such as eggs and potatoes, I like to have something fresh on the side like orange juice, a smoothie, or fruit. Therefore, I was very pleased by the options offered on this plate. Overall, I was extremely satisfied with our visit and would be more than happy to stop by again if I was in the area!
