    Taco Dinner
    Laquanda ..

Coyotes has always been one of my favorite hole in the wall Mexican food places. I usually get the taco dinner and as you can see I couldn't wait before I snapped a picture of my food lol. I enjoyed their steak and pork tacos. Which are both pitched below. I also really enjoy their quesadilla with steak, which is also equally tasty. I'm not a huge fan of being so I usually do double rice but I've always enjoyed their Riece. The service is always quick and kind and it will continue to be my go to spot when I'm in the mood for some tacos.

This is one of my favorite hole in the wall spots and Pilsen. If you're looking for fast and affordable Mexican fair, this is the place. When reviewing business businesses like this, you have to review it for what it is. It's not a fancy place to sit down, it's a place to get decent Mexican food almost at anytime/day or night. I've always had good service here both in the restaurant and with delivery .

We stumbled upon Coyotes when we were looking for tacos at 2 a.m. Lengua, tripa, asada. Just SO simple and good. We came back the next night. If only I lived here!

Food was delicious fresh and just how I asked it to be made ..I ordered 3 steak tacos cilantro and onion shell well done and I appreciated the authentic flavor

Great restaurant that represented the beautiful neighborhood of Pilsen well. The food came out very fast, and was very good quality. I loved the food, and even for a picky eater, it was amazing and affordable. Also, the workers checked in the made sure everything was great.

Can we taco bout how much I can't wait to come back here LOL Late night taco spot with solid service and solid eats! Staff was all very friendly and everything is made fresh! I love that we can sit right by the grill and watch all the magic happen! Sure the awkward eye contact with the cooks can be strange but it's also oh so fun! Stopped by after a late night DJ set at a club and we were mildly hungry. I had the carne asada steak taco, Al pastor, and the lengua. They did NOT skimp on the meat and flavor. My friend got a tostada with nopales and steak and it was MASSIVE! My other friend got the carne en su jugo soup and it was what dreams are made of! Fried onions and fried bacon thats then grilled with steak then put into a big o bowl with broth and avocado!!! Rich and heavenly...absolute comfort in a bowl! Definitely can't wait to go back!

The Green Room Tap recommended Coyote over some of the closer food options, so we took a walk. Small diner type setup, prompt friendly service. The prices on the menu were the first thing that stood out, more expensive than I was expecting. The food quality is the same as most mexican restaurants like this, nothing fancy, basic issue. The quality of the chips and salsa are usually a preview of the food to come.

Came by at 4AM after a show for a quick bite. Free chips and salsa were good . I got a Asada Gordita with a Jarritos - The steak was juicy and fresh, and it came with raw onions/cilantro. The pocket of masa holding everything together was okay. For the price, the portion was fair and the food was decent. I'd come back when looking for a chill late night spot for a snack.

For being open till 4:30, gave me Mexican Waffle House vibes. Was busy at 2-3am and our party of 8 got seated immediately. Most of us got tacos and while in the pricey side for 4.50 each they were pretty good. Came with chips and serve salsa was spicy.

Idk know what this is, but it's not steak

Our server, Jacob, was helpful and his recommendation of the Lyonnaise Potatoes did not disappoint. We had the small whale, an aged ribeye sandwich, and I got the filet mignon with bone marrow butter. The chilled seafood was delicious, especially with the house mustard sauce. My partner said the steak sandwich was the best they ever had. The filet was easily the best steak I've ever had though the dry-aged ribeye at Abrasado in Mendoza, Argentina is a close second. The grand martini was a perfect pairing for the chilled seafood. They threw in a complimentary brownie with ice cream for a bday dessert which was appreciated on multiple levels. We're not affluent and a meal like this was definitely a splurge but I have zero complaints and would 100% come back for a comparable special occasion. Everything was perfect and I'll remember this meal forever. Thanks, Joe's!

It was barely cheesy and was like a alfredo sauce more than cheesy, and the crust on top was lukewarm and stagnant like it had been sitting there. It's the same concept as Boiling Crab or Kickin Crab in California. It is BYOB! So I walked across the street to Target, got some Seltzers and brought them to our table. This is prob the one thing that I love the most. Great service. The seafood boil is pretty good. They give you a bib and gloves to keep you relatively clean. You have to use your hands to eat your food and work for it. Go for the seafood Cajun sauce (garlic, butter, lemon pepper). It was super good flavor. Mild is the way to go. We asked for spicy sauce on the side for an extra dollar. I would skip the preset family meals. Order 1-2 lbs of your favorite seafood. They have prices per lb on the large chalk board. The shrimp, crawfish was cooked well. The crab legs were boiled before cooked, so the shell was soft and easy to cut with scissors. Next time, I'd get the shrimp, crawfish, clams, and mussels. The family feast ($145)- came with king crab, snow crab, option of 2 from shrimp, crawfish, mussels, clams. Also, a scoop of rice, green beans, garlic noodles, and fries. First, the service itself was good, we were seated right away with no reservations, but upon entering the restaurant has a very strong almost mildew like smell. Our server let us know right away that they were short staffed in the kitchen and therefore orders were taking 45 minutes to an hour to come out. Not a problem, we understand and ordered some apps to get us by. The food is why I'm giving it 3 starts. We ordered the calamari, which was soooo overcooked it was tough and chewy, I couldn't even swallow it. We ordered the cajun fries too and they were okay. My partner and I both ordered king crab legs with the house cajun sauce. Let me just say the sauce itself was amazing! Super delicious and tasty, not too salty, very flavorful. But both of our king crab legs were way overcooked, to the point where the meat seemed shrunk, it was very firm and rubbery/gummy. Unfortunately for paying such a high price for 1lb, this was extremely disappointing. Being that 3 seperate dishes were overcooked, I personally wouldn't return for this reason alone. Very disappointed but I feel like this issue can easily be fixed! Hoping to return one day because the flavors were definitely there, but unfortunately not anytime soon.
