My partner said the steak sandwich was the best they ever had. The filet was easily the best steak I've ever had though the dry-aged ribeye at Abrasado in Mendoza, Argentina is a close second. The grand martini was a perfect pairing for the chilled seafood. They threw in a complimentary brownie with ice cream for a bday dessert which was appreciated on multiple levels. We're not affluent and a meal like this was definitely a splurge but I have zero complaints and would 100% come back for a comparable special occasion. It was deconstructed into piles of crust, merengue kisses, and foam. It was good. I honestly don't understand the hype when compared to Crab King. As of now, this is the best seafood boil I've had in Chicago. Of course, if a new spot opens, I'll happily give it a try, but Crab King is currently my #1. Their happy hour is also hard to beat.
