Campbell's number two and five from their menu that is found at the register above the counter.

We came here for my birthday dinner. My husband found this place online as we've tried other places for the same type of food the place was basically empty. The lucky part was that we found a parking right outside when somebody got out otherwise you would have to literally search for parking ! We got there at about eight. The snow crabs were so small and pricey 25.00 for a set of maybe 4 little pieces- Oh they do not offer any water and. No one comes to check on you. They have a tip jar next to their register and to be honest I'm not sure why because they disappear and they bring out your food and they walk away and that's the last time you see them! Also the cornbread had jalapeños in it which I didn't care for- they should just stick with plain not everybody eats jalapeños, and the shrimp did not taste like they were cooked in the sauce the shrimp taste like the sauce was already made, and they were tossed in there at the last minute and then brought out... which explains why our food was brought out in less than 20 minutes - the picture is nice, but that's all it was. I wish the food was just as good and this is just my honest opinion. I ordered the second combo on their board. My husband ordered combo number five .You have to order at the checkout counter. You don't order at your table. One thing I did find cute where the cute bottles of homemade... a little too sweet for my taste ... but I can repurpose them at home. We spent over $100 .. I gave it 2 stars because I like the little juice containers- On to the next seafood boil spot. ‍

I ordered two 1 pound shrimp combo bags. One bag had their "everythang" sauce with heat level 1. The other bag had Cajun with heat level 2. They honestly both tasted the same two me. Couldn't tell the difference. Most importantly, it was delicious. The heat level was just right as well as the sauce. The sauce also made the corn and the potatoes taste delicious. I hate peeling shrimp. Especially when all the sauce comes off the shrimp when you're done peeling it. So I peeled all my shrimp first, threw it back in the bag and shook it up to make sure all my shrimp was coated in the sauce before it went it my mouth. Absolutely delicious. I ordered online and this is the best service I have ever received with an online order. They text you, call you to confirm your order and call you when your order is complete. Will definitely be returning.

Lowcountry was the first seafood boil spot I had when I first moved to chicago. I searched " where to eat seafood boil in Chicago" and it was the first one that came up! They have amazing flavor with a thicker sauce, and a wide range of fresh seafood that perfectly curbed my seafood cravings. Service is a little weird. We sat there for 10minutes before we knew we had to order at the counter inside. Probably should add some signs . Otherwise the people are nice and there's a hand washing station in the middle Ive been here 3 times now , 2times in south loop for take out and dine in and once here. So it's absolutely delcious. Portion size was pretty sizeable and I shared with 3 people. The taste itself was good but nothing to write home about. I am not too familiar with seafood boils so not sure what to compare it too but we got the mild spicy with the everything sauce. It is pretty salty. They give you a bib and a bin for garbage and there are hang washing stations. The price is more expensive but I feel like that's expected at a boil. Again, not too familiar so not sure what to expect. There is no service - everything is self service except for when you order. Would go again overall! Ambiance - outdoor bbq picnic vibes

    Weekday special Garlic Noodles

It's Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday? Normally I would be dreading the weekday but not when low country has a RIDICULOUSLY AMAZING weekday special. It's $25 for a bag with a snow crab cluster, a bunch of shrimp, corn, and potatoes, with a side of cornbread???? I mean come ON it's such good value and it's so delicious, I got some garlic noodles as a treat too. Honestly if you add a couple of things to one bag it's a good meal for two people but also I can body the entire bag myself... I love it here...

I've been to several Cajun boils in the city, and Lowcountry is probably one of my favorite. My husband and I usually get the double double which includes 1 LB of shrimp, 2 snow crab clusters, 4 cornbreads, 3 corns, 6 potatoes, and 2 soda. We also add in sausages and 1 LB of mussels with the everthang sauce (garlic, lemon-pepper, and Cajun sauce). For the heat level, we like hot. It's spicy but tolerable where you won't ruin your meal. FOOD: the portions were decent. I wasn't overly full but definitely satisfied when I left. The mussels and shrimps were large, and the crab legs had a good amount of meat. The cornbread is my favorite thing there. It is sweet but it has some heat to it because of the jalapeños. It is more on the dense side but the flavors are amazing. DRINKS: your meal will come with 2 sodas and there are a variety you can choose from (Pepsi, Sierra Mist, crush, ginger ale, etc.). If you like cocktails, definitely get their hurricane cocktail or their margaritas. Strong but not overly sweet. SERVICE: it is self service where you will have to go to the counter to order your food and someone will bring it out to you. So I can't really comment on their service. The only down side of Lowcountry is that your fingers will smell like seafood for hours. As mush as I washed my hands, the smell lingered for what it seemed like for 2 days. Overall, I love this place and everyone I have taken there also loves this place. WARNING: if you easily get heartburn like my husband, you will mostly need antacids before and after.

This was such a cool eating experience in a hotspot of lake view. I'm not too much of a city person as I tend to like my peace and quiet in the suburbs. However, I cannot deny that the city of chicago produces some amazing spots to eat. And lowcountry lake view certainly was one of them. I will say this place can be cheap or expensive, depends on the combination of seafood you go for. My gf and I went for the big shots as it was her birthday and I wanted to treat my queen. We went for the king crab legs, crawfish, potatoes and corn with (I think) spicy garlic sauce and garlic noodles as a side I will say. This is a dinner if you don't mind getting super messy with and just say f*** it and eat everything with your hands. We loved the food as it was heavy in garlic, a little salty but flavorful as hell. I will say one side order of potatoes and corn wasn't enough - should've went for two as one order ain't it Crab was delicious and so was the crawfish. And everything with the garlic noodles was so bomb I will say next time we go - we will try out some of the fried stuff. Awesome decor and amazing delicious food Highly recommend

The place it's very cozy and they have all the utensils that you need to not get dirty while you're eating all the types of seafood . The staff was nice and friendly, they gave us information what to do after they sit us at the table and also advise with the best sauce choices. The only thing that I can complain it's that the garlic sauce that I choose was extremely salty and I like salt but this one was too much but I'll give a chance again for sure.:) There it's also a bar where you can order shots and any kind of special cocktails, music which it's making the place fun especially for a Saturday night out. Prices are normal so it's okay for almost any budget plus the bags with food and combo are ok for 2 people too.

It's surprisingly hard to find one that's consistently good, but Crab King is by far my favorite. What sets them apart is the sauce and seasoning. It's flavorful without being overly salty, and the medium spice level is just right. I've been to Lowcountry plenty of times, and I personally find their boils way too salty. I honestly don't understand the hype when compared to Crab King. As of now, this is the best seafood boil I've had in Chicago. Of course, if a new spot opens, I'll happily give it a try, but Crab King is currently my #1. Their happy hour is also hard to beat. The seafood boil deals are great, and the $1 oysters are an added bonus. If you're a seafood boil lover, I definitely recommend giving this place a try!

My daughter asked to come here so we came downtown on a Friday around 7:30pm and it was pretty crowded, but by it only being two of us our wait time was less than 10 minutes. Once seated you scan the QR code to look over the menu and once decided you go to one counter to place your food order and the bar to place your drink order, they then bring your food to the table and our food came pretty quick after ordering. Bib on, gloves on, time to dig in... My daughter ordered the bag with shrimp, crab legs, corn and potatoes and I ordered lobster tails, corn and potatoes and two lemonades (lemonades were delicious!) We ordered our food with the everythang sauce (which is a mix of all their sauces) and it was really good and really flavorful. Messy is to be expected but surprisingly the food mess was manageable and did not take away from my dining experience. The amount of crab legs in my bag to me did not justify $32 and if it wasn't for the potatoes and two corns I'm sure I would of still been hungry. Seafood boils are not a cheap experience neither, our meals with the two lemonades and no alcohol was $110, so definitely not an every weekend dining option, but leaving I did see on their info board that their shrimp, crab bags are $28 Monday - Thursday and they look to have a pretty good happy hour so this might be a reason for a quicker return. First, the service itself was good, we were seated right away with no reservations, but upon entering the restaurant has a very strong almost mildew like smell. Not a problem, we understand and ordered some apps to get us by. The food is why I'm giving it 3 starts. We ordered the calamari, which was soooo overcooked it was tough and chewy, I couldn't even swallow it. We ordered the cajun fries too and they were okay. My partner and I both ordered king crab legs with the house cajun sauce. Let me just say the sauce itself was amazing! Super delicious and tasty, not too salty, very flavorful. But both of our king crab legs were way overcooked, to the point where the meat seemed shrunk, it was very firm and rubbery/gummy. Unfortunately for paying such a high price for 1lb, this was extremely disappointing. Being that 3 seperate dishes were overcooked, I personally wouldn't return for this reason alone. Very disappointed but I feel like this issue can easily be fixed! Hoping to return one day because the flavors were definitely there, but unfortunately not anytime soon.

Bingo was carried out terribly. 3 out of 4 people at my table were given the exact same bingo card, and when we won one round, we were told we had to share the prize which was one drink...even though all three of us had one based on the cards they gave. How does that even make sense? Bingo hosts also explained that we'd be playing 10 rounds, but randomly cut the rounds down to 5 in the middle of play leaving everyone confused. Sadly the service, food, and scheduled events fall short of expectations - especially with the pricing. To top it off, our final check reflected prices higher than the menu showed.
