Provare is such a special place! A mix of soul and Italian with the best playlist ever. Greeted with a rum shot, service here is friendly and seemed personal. The food was absolutely delicious! I was surprised with how flavorful the pastas are! Last, do not forget the buttercake!
Friday afternoon-Food was okay, drinks were light and service was good. The food-ordered seafood rigatoni with an extra lobster tail. The taste was okay. It needed salt and the food left a bad taste that had both my friend and myself feeling sick Friday evening and all day Saturday. Drinks-lemon drops were light. Our server-Tay was nice, informative and efficient. Noise level was medium to high but positive energy and good music.
My husband discovered this spot and added it to our shared folder for our Yelp adventures, and listen, it was absolutely amazing! The vibe, the ambiance, the semi-dark mood lighting, and the people just vibing out after work? Yes! It was rainy that day, and I honestly didn't think we were going to get in. Needless to say, I was done, okay? We had woken up late, had breakfast, did a few things, got tired, and dozed off. But nevertheless, my husband makes it happen, okay? They were able to seat us at the bar, and listen, I loved watching the bartenders do their thing. I'm always curious about how they make their drinks, how they get along, and how they interact with the customers. You could tell that a lot of the people eating at the bar were regulars, okay? We had never been there before, but everybody around us had something good to say. The lady sitting to my left was from St. Louis, and when I tell you, she could not stop raving about this restaurant! She had been there a few times, and even though she's from out of town, anytime she's in the Chi, she stops by. Another guy had already been three times that week! He even brought his other half to check out the basement and listen to some music. From what he told us, they have DJs on certain days, along with other live acts. It gives almost a speakeasy vibe. We didn't make it downstairs this time, but we already said that when we go back, with reservations, we are definitely spending some time down there. Listen, I'm about to jump all over the place with this review, because everything was hitting! The butter cake, okay?! Totally amazing. It was light, airy, and not overly rich. I'm in a season where I'm not doing too much sweet, okay? I mean, I'mma eat my sweets, don't get it twisted... but over-the-top and doing too much? Yeah, no. This was perfect. You could taste what needed to be tasted, okay? Some guys sitting near us had ordered it, and listen, they maxed. They bust that thing down. Once we tried it, we understood exactly why. Now, the food! I had what I believe was the lemon pepper chicken Alfredo. Oh my gosh! Rich cheese, rich white sauce, and everything tasted homemade, okay? Don't give me that other stuff, y'all. My husband had some type of seafood pasta situation, and he absolutely loved it. We also had some egg rolls that were phenomenal. Listen, I have never been in a situation where I ate my entire meal. All of it! Usually, I'm taking something to go, and then it never gets eaten. This time there wasn't anything left to take. That's all I'mma say! The drinks did exactly what they needed to do, okay? Shout-out to the bartender! I can't remember his name, but listen, he wore the cowboy hat. I was feeling it! Awesome food, awesome drinks, awesome vibe, and an awesome time. We will definitely be back!
What more could you want from a place that offers welcome shots? I wish I could remember our servers name; she was such a doll. My sister and I kept it simple with a shared app and our entrees. The salmon egg rolls were good and not overdone. She ordered the lamb and I ordered the seafood trio, at the recommendation of our server. The lamb was overcooked but we were able to get it remade. The pasta trio was so flavorful! And they did not skimp on seafood. We also ordered a drink but felt we couldn't taste the alcohol. So we ended up ordering an extra shot. Not pictured but the cherry on top was the butter cake! Worth every calorie lol. The vibe was really nice overall and if you look hard enough, you'll find the speakeasy lol.
It's a nice din lit roomy place. You only have 90 minutes for seating. The waitress was very attentive. Well they kind of have to be since you are limited to only 90 minutes. The food is outstanding. The Salmon egg rolls were the best I have ever had. The lamb chops were perfectly cooked, tender and very tasty. The Ribeye Steak was really good. Perfectly cooked and full of flavor. Don't skip the butter cake for desert even if you are stuffed. It's decadent! So moist, full of flavor, it's delicious! Overall great experience.
Went here for a birthday dinner, and hit up the speakeasy in the basement afterwards. Our waitress was awesome and definitely on top of things. We didn't get a picture of everything, but we had the: - Spinach and Artichoke Dip - dip has a lot of potential, I would've just added more seasoning salt to it, but it was very good - Mardi Gras Pasta - my friend loved her dish - Seafood Trio - good, and had a slight heat to it, but was good, - Salmon Eggrolls: BOMB! Sooooooooooo good, I wanted another plate of them
Fantastic Saturday night dinner at Povare! The atmosphere was on point for a weekend night, and the drinks were both delicious and strong. Huge shoutout to Devante for the exceptional service and top-tier recommendations--he really made the evening. The appetizers were absolutely perfect. My entree was full of flavor, though just a hair on the salty side. Overall, a phenomenal experience. Great job, Povare team!
Finally got a chance to try Provare!!! The space is super cute. Great date night spot or night out with friends. The hosting staff super friendly and welcoming. The door person was very nice as well and super well dressed. The service was ok. I think our waitress might have had a needy table bc she spent a lot of time over there to the point I had to visit the bar to refill my drink. The waitress was very nice though. The food ... not bad, but I'll be honest I've had better. It wasn't bad, but did not live up to the anticipation. I would still recommend the business and if someone I knew wanted to eat there, I'd go, but order different items.
Let me start by saying that the food I had at Provare was EXCELLENT. So, it genuinely pains me to write this review because the food deserves its hype, but the overall dining experience left a lot to be desired. For starters, this restaurant charges $5 just to make a reservation. I found that ridiculous, especially considering the price point of the restaurant. On top of that, you need to be careful when booking because the restaurant has two separate dining areas. If you make a reservation for the downstairs area, you get a limited menu, despite being in the same building. To make matters worse, the limited menu excludes several of their popular dishes. I wish that had been made clearer during the reservation process. Now, let's talk about the service. I sat at the bar, and unfortunately, the service was absolutely terrible. What made the experience even more frustrating was that a mandatory 20% gratuity was added to the bill. I understand gratuity policies, but automatically adding 20% when the service is this poor is hard to justify. Now for the good part: THE FOOD. I completely understand why people rave about the pasta here. The pasta I ordered was delicious, and the lamb chop was equally impressive. Both were packed with flavor and prepared exceptionally well. The lamb chop portion is worth mentioning, though. You can order a single lamb chop for $12 or pay approximately $54 for four. While the food is undeniably good, the prices are definitely on the higher end. For context, my order consisted of pasta, one lamb chop, the seafood cream spinach appetizer, and one alcoholic beverage. For ONE person, my total came to approximately $105, including the mandatory 20% gratuity. Here's my issue: I don't mind paying premium prices when the food, service, and overall experience justify the cost. Provare absolutely delivered on the food, but the service fell painfully short. When I'm spending over $100 on a solo dining experience, I expect to feel taken care of, not like an inconvenience. Triple-digit prices for single-digit service are unacceptable. Would I recommend Provare for the food? Absolutely. The dishes I tried were genuinely delicious. However, the service, reservation fee, limited downstairs menu, and overall cost left a bad taste in my mouth. With better service and more transparency about the dining areas, this could have been an entirely different experience. Unfortunately, great food alone isn't enough to make me overlook everything else.
I have never loved a restaurant more. EVERY SINGLE THING they brought out was delicious. I can't even say one thing was better than the other. You need to go to this restaurant the crab cake egg rolls are my favorite. Our server was amazing and very attentive. I wish this was in Dallas!
This food was so amazing I will literally be thinking about it until the next time I'm in Chicago. Everything was flavorful, and the portions were extremely generous. Our waitress was great too. We loved the vibe of the restaurant and the music playing were all of our favorite songs. We might make this a stop every time we visit Chicago
I was a party of 1, and sat in between parties with several reasons to celebrate. That being said, the host, staff, and even fellow guests dining there as well, made me feel welcomed. I received exceptional service from CiCi (hope I am spelling that right). Pretty, spacious, and an esthetically beautiful restaurant. I made the mistake of eating a late lunch, but I didn't want to cancel my reservation because I don't know when my next trip to Chicago will be. I ordered the seafood trio 5/5! And the butter cake 4.6/5! There are so many reviews, so I'll keep mine simple and straight to the point. If I'm ever in Chicago again, I'd definitely return!
I've been dying to try Provare since it opened, but I just hadn't had the opportunity until this past Saturday when we went with friends. From the moment we walked in, I got this modern Neo-soul, chill vibe that immediately set the tone for the evening. The hostesses were incredibly hospitable, and we were seated pretty quickly. Our waitress came by and, after finding out it was our first time dining there, offered us Chicago Avenue shots -- such a thoughtful and welcoming touch. I can truly understand why people rave about this place on social media because the food was absolutely delicious. We started with the crab cake eggrolls and fried lobster as appetizers, and both were amazing. I ordered the Randolph Ave drink, which was sweet and strong -- exactly what I was hoping for. For our entrées, we ordered the seafood trio, and it was superb. It's a creamy Cajun pasta with lobster, crab, and shrimp, with the perfect amount of spice. My husband ordered the lamb chops with Cajun street food corn, and let me tell you -- he got five of the fattest, juiciest lamb chops cooked to perfection! My friend ordered the pasta alla vodka with grilled chicken, and we all shared the butter cake for dessert. Everything from the drinks to the appetizers to the entrées was incredible. We thoroughly enjoyed our entire experience and will definitely be back!
Family in town and we wanted an upscale Sunday dinner! Provaré is a beautiful restaurant! The decor was fabulous and cozy. The greeting host was amazing, solid energy! We sat and were immediately given complimentary shots of some yummy cocktail! That was nice. We looked at the menu and got 2 apps to start, salmon egg rolls and fried brussel sprouts. Both were delicious! Nice portions too. Our second meals were the vegan bolognese and Jack Daniels shrimp pasta and both were great! We were full so we didn't try dessert but some we saw looked amazing. We will return and have a date night soon! Heard they have a speak easy too in the basement. More of a 3.5 but I rounded up. Service was fantastic!! Waiter at the bar (no seats since we had no reservations) was fantastic. He enhanced our experience. Also super helpful in helping me navigate the menu since I was pregnant for the first time and extra cautious (ex: yolk in cesar salad) Restaurant was beautiful and had a great vibe. However, I was not in love with the food. The cesar salad was good as an appetizer as well as the dip. I got the Alla vodka and it was as if they were doing to much yet not enough. It did not taste like alla vodka at all and that was disappointing. Flavor was not bad but strayed too far from the classic desired taste. Provare Server: Nautica - absolutely lovely person. She was very welcoming and kind and happily gave recommendations and explanations. (This will come up later, but she helped accommodate my personal taste for one of the menu items). Lighting: I'm personally not the biggest fan of dim lighting overall, but I can understand if that's the atmosphere they're going for. Noise Level/Crowdedness: medium-ish noise level (at least at the time we came). We had an early reservation on a Saturday, and within 10 minutes of arriving, the tables were packed. Seating is a bit too dense for my comfort level, but that might just be me. Price: definitely on the higher end, but so worth it for special occasions at least. I forgot to take a picture of the menu, but I'll name prices based off another picture I found online from July 2026. Drinks: MLK $18 -- 6/10 I was really excited to try the MLK since it was basically described as a green tea shot with cocktail ratios, but it kinda didn't deliver for me? Gin & Juice (Peach) $10 -- 5/10 (according to my partner) Food: Salmon Egg Rolls: $16 -- 3/10 Unfortunately, came out terribly lukewarm, and with some bites, downright cold on the inside. Both of us were unsure if that was how they were supposed to be or if they were just not fresh and had been sitting in the kitchen without a warmer for a while. We agreed that if they were at least hot ("freshness" not withstanding), then we both would have given them a higher rating. (We're both pretty nonconfrontational people, so that's why we didn't say anything to our server). Lemon Pepper Chicken Alfredo: $34 -- 9/10 (according to my partner) Definitely incredible, and I can understand why it's one of their more popular options. Pasta Mardi Gras: $26 -- 10/10 I was about to also get the Lemon Pepper Chicken Alfredo, but since it was our first time here, I didn't want to limit what we tried (and it sounded too delicious to pass up). Nautica warned me that it had a bit of a kick to it, but when she saw how worried I looked, she immediately offered to tell the kitchen to lower the spice level. (I want to say my partner has an average spice tolerance, so in terms of scale we usually assume anything that's mild to him is 3x more spicy to me). I know lowering/removing spice/certain ingredients oftentimes takes away the integrity of a dish, but I was so so grateful to Nautica for offering to lower the spice, because that was truly one of the best pastas I have ever had. I really hope when we come back, the server/kitchen is willing to lower the spice again. Butter Cake: $14 -- 9/10 We were surprised to see only one dessert on the menu, and Nautica told us there's a reason for that and that we absolutely had to try it. She was so right. We almost ordered a second one, but we said we'll just have to come back. Receipt: This isn't going to affect whether or not we return, or whether I recommend this place to other people, but just as a heads up to future customers -- there was an automatic gratuity of 20ish% (I can't remember the exact percentage, since this was a month ago now). Nautica was very transparent about this and explained that this 20ish% is shared between all staff, and then she said it was up to us how much additional gratuity we wanted to give her individually. I know this might turn some people off, and admittedly had we known this in advance, it might have turned us off as well, but at the end of the day I still think this restaurant is worth the visit. That being said, this is for management: I won't claim to understand running a restaurant, but adding an automatic gratuity to have customers pick up the bill when it comes to paying your staff fair wages (and that's assuming it really does go to staff) is a deeply concerning business practice. Regardless of my personal opinions on the food, your staff deserve to have a consistent wage not dependent on the finances and whims of your average customers. read more

We came to Provare to celebrate my birthday after seeing so many posts on social media, and it did not disappoint! We ordered the fried lobster tails, salmon egg rolls, seafood trio pasta, and cognac shrimp scampi. Everything was absolutely delicious and full of flavor. The salmon egg rolls were my favorite, so unique and seriously SO good! The pasta dishes were generous portions with plenty of seafood. For the quality and type of food, I also felt the prices and portion sizes were very reasonable compared to other restaurants offering similar seafood selections. The service was fantastic! Our server, Katy, was so sweet and on top of everything. Multiple staff members checked on us throughout the meal, and we felt very well taken care of. We finished with the butter cake, which was moist, flavorful, and a must-get! Such a great birthday experience. Highly recommended! read more
We had an amazing time at Provare! Even though we arrived a few minutes late, they were very accommodating and seated us while the rest of our group arrived. The ambiance is a 10/10--beautiful space, especially the downstairs Privé section. The Stoney Island was a hit with our group (some even ordered seconds!). The calamari was slightly overcooked but still tasty. My boyfriend and I shared the steak frites (medium well), and it was cooked perfectly--I'd order it again. The DJ was also a 10/10 and really made the night. Highly recommend--we'll definitely be back! read more

Came to check out this restaurant early on a Friday evening and sat at the bar. The bartender, Trel was very welcoming. We ordered a round of cocktails. We started with the fried calamari and Cesar salad. For entrees, we had the lobster bisque pasta and the seafood trio. The sauces in the pasta were rich and flavorful. The food was so filling and I loved that they did not skimp on the seafood meat in the entrees. So good. Thank you for the great food and hospitality. read more

I visited Pravare with my best friend to celebrate our anniversary, and overall we had a great experience. We did arrive about 30 minutes late for our reservation, which meant we had to wait roughly an hour to be seated...totally fair. While waiting, we grabbed drinks at a nearby bar. Unfortunately, that delay meant we didn't get to check out the speakeasy this time, but it's definitely on the list for our next visit. Once seated, service started quickly. Our server, Narnica, was fantastic and guided us through the menu with great recommendations. Food Highlights: * Artichoke dip + garlic bread: Excellent. It already comes with shrimp and crawfish, and the flavor was rich and satisfying. * Salmon egg rolls: Texture was perfect...crispy and juicy...but flavor-wise they were just okay for us. * Trio pasta: Delicious overall. The pasta and sauce alone were good, but adding shrimp and crawfish really elevated the dish and made it memorable. Drinks: We received complimentary mango welcome shots (always appreciated!) and a celebratory sparkling rosé for our occasion, which was a really thoughtful touch. I ordered a cocktail similar to a sidecar that leaned sweeter, and it was excellent. THE STAR OF THE NIGHT: The butter cake dessert. Hands down one of the best desserts I've ever had! Warm, moist, decadent, and perfectly paired with ice cream. Honestly, I understand why it's the only dessert on the menu. Service: Outstanding. Staff checked in consistently, bussers cleared plates quickly, replaced dropped napkins immediately. We truly felt taken care of all evening. Things to Know: You must arrive within 5 minutes of your reservation text. There's a 90-minute table limit (though it didn't feel rushed). Definitely make a reservation. There was a long waitlist when we left. Be mindful of add ons: we kept the crab meat on a burger to go and later realized it added about $15 extra. The fries that came with the burgers were amazing...seasoned with Parmesan and full of flavor. Overall: Great ambiance, perfect for dressing up, celebrating, or a fun night out. The energy was lively, and we saw lots of guests heading into the speakeasy entrance throughout the night. I absolutely recommend Provare and will definitely be returning...especially for that butter cake. read more

The vibes and ambience of this restaurant was amazing. Nice 90s RnB music, with dim lighting making it a very comfortable romantic vibe. The food came out quick and perfect and their butter cake is one of the best things I've ever had! I even order one to go! Our server was also very attentive and made the experience better! read more
So I might be the unpopular opinion... Here are my pros and and not so pros... Starting with the pros: Prive is more of a vibe than the dining area. Prive is the downstairs speakeasy, cute vibe, nice date night and more intimate setting. On the night I went they had live music which was fun to experience. Definitely enjoyed that. Loved the Salmon egg rolls. The waitress was lovely, a little slow towards the end in which after 30 mins to get the check the bartender noticed and helped but she apologized after seeing her later at the end of her shift. I appreciated her for that. Drinks were good. Not so Pros: The spinach dip and lamb chops was just okay. I like the elote corn and lamb was cooked well (medium) but they were over salted which left me disappointed. Also they charge a 20% service charge which is not considered the tip. I thought this was a thing with large group, meanwhile it was just me. I was annoyed but I was more annoyed to be told it is a "new Chicago thing" only to find out at other restaurants that actually is not true. Just say you are charging people an extra 20%. And frankly this place is so hyped that it is not going to matter because you will get business, but yea dont pretend it is a "Chicago thing." That left a bad taste in my mouth. My sweetie brought me here last night for a pre-Valentines day date night. It was the first time eating here for both of us and my goodness- this food did NOT disappoint!!! We started off with crab cakes and the salmon egg rolls!! (My sweetie had the crab cakes I'm allergic) he said they were absolutely amazing. The avocado and pico topping set them off right. The salmon egg rolls almost took me out they were so good. They melt in your mouth! The flavor is amazing. (Don't tell anyone but I literally drooled on the table while eating them ) The main courses were the lamb chops and brussel sprouts for the mister, and I had the lemon pepper chicken Alfredo. The lamb chops were well prepared, tender, and delicious, the brussel sprouts were also well prepared and a nice balance between a soft bite and a little crisp. The lemon pepper Alfredo is very filling, but delicious! Flavorful and rich! To top it off we finished with the butter cake! Served warm with cold vanilla ice cream on top and drizzled with caramel- perfection! So so good! Unfortunately the speak easy area was full so we didn't get to enjoy the live music, but the dinner and service was amazing and we had a wonderful evening! Will definitely be back! read more
Provare was such a great experience! The ambiance was classy yet inviting, and the service was attentive and friendly throughout our visit. For appetizers, we started with the fried Brussels sprouts with house aioli. They were good, though not fried the way I was expecting. The real standout was the spinach dip with crawfish and shrimp--absolutely divine. Paired with the garlic bread, it was rich, flavorful, and hard to stop eating. For my entrée, I ordered the lobster bisque pasta and it was so delicious. It came with two lobster tails, and they definitely didn't skimp on the lobster mixed throughout the pasta. First I will give the ambiance and service 5 stars! Our server Ci Ci was attentive and knowledgeable. I have to say the menu is small and to the point. The food was good the pasta needed something to accompany it with so you have to purchase garlic bread as the pasta is rich! The welcome courtesy shot was nice. The Caesar salad was dressed flawlessly; as someone who usually asks for extra dressing, I was pleasantly surprised that it needed absolutely nothing. We had a great time! Tik Tok did not disappoint. We were looking for a place with great food, excellent service, and plenty of swag, and this spot checked every box. What we ordered: * Seafood Trio - 10/10. Spicy, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. * Lamb Chops- 100/10- juicy, tender and flavorful * Shrimp Cognac - 9/10. Fantastic flavor; I just wish there had been a little more shrimp. * Crab Egg Rolls - 10/10. A must-order. * Butter Cake - 100/10. Easily the star of the night. * MLK - 10/10. The service was wonderful. They do include a 20% gratuity, which is clearly disclosed, and our waitress explained that it is shared among the team. Any additional tip goes directly to the server. I appreciated her honesty and transparency, and she absolutely deserved extra. We had reservations for 5:30 PM, but you could tell that between 6:00 and 8:00 PM this place really comes alive. By the time we were leaving, there was a huge line forming outside. People were dressed like they were heading to a club, and for good reason--there's a speakeasy downstairs that adds to the experience. From the Southern-inspired flavors to the stylish, swaggish ambiance, this place is a hit. I highly recommend giving this establishment a try. We'll definitely be back. read more

Be aware that this restaurant adds a mandatory 20% service charge to takeout orders. We ordered two pasta dishes for pickup with a subtotal of $52. When we received the receipt, an additional $10.40 service charge had been added, bringing the total to nearly $70 after tax. What was frustrating is that this was a small takeout order. We picked up the food ourselves and did not receive table service, yet a mandatory 20% service charge was still added to the bill. When I called to ask about it, I was told it was company policy. The staff member I spoke with said they would contact the manager about removing the charge. My purpose in leaving this review is simply to make other customers aware of the policy before ordering so there are no surprises when the bill arrives. I have yet to receive a call back and it has been 5 days. read more

The service is top tier. The atmosphere was great- relaxed but beautiful-great date night vibes. For me the food was okay. The spices on my lamb chops were different and that could be my personal palette because my daughter loved them. The pasta dishes were very rich and creamy. read more
While visiting Chicago during an impromptu visit we decided to come here at this Black owned business to celebrate Hubby's birthday. We arrived and quickly found out that we needed to make reservations because this place was packed. We were able to snag two seats at the bar after waiting for a bit. The bartender was great with making sure all of our drinks were on point. He was super accommodating for our birthday plans. The lamb chops and creamy pasta were the star of the show. We were able to get a personal tour of the Speakeasy located downstairs by one of owners. Drinks were flowing and definitely a good vibe. Provare! Ok, where do I begin?!?!? Well, first, this place is a vibe! From lights to the bar and down to the exclusive VIP Lounge downstairs! I'll tell you about that in a few. I first went with some associates and we of course had to have a reservation. It gets busy quickly! Our waiter was not only knowledgeable but amazing at asking open ended questions around our palettes. I ordered the lobster pasta and added a lamb chop...whew!!! The seafood pasta and the lamb chop had me in a frenzy! They were packed with flavor and cooked to perfection! I'm no longer a huge fan of shrimp and the shrimp were cooked perfectly also. I ate th entire lamb chop and half the plate of pasta. I just couldn't stop eating! I sampled my friend girl's Salmon egg roles and those are a meal all by themselves!! Definitely order these!! Now, back to the exclusive lounge. If you have a Capital One card, use your app to book a reservation. The restaurant has a relationship with Capital One and the relationship gives access/entry to those cardholders with a reservation. It's live downstairs and reminds me of an underground speakeasy. 10/10! We were here from out of town, coming off a delayed flight and Chi-town traffic (ugh)...we had no time to check-in to our hotel before our reservation (make sure to RSVP). With bags in tow we had to pivot directly to dinner and we were a lil worried about our bags. Worried for what?! We were met outside by staff asking for our luggage and escorted to the hostess. Every detail and accommodation was made from entrance to exit Food??? AMAZING. The drinks were even better and if you're wanting more head to the bar or downstairs to the speakeasy (serving same menu) this does require a separate reservation. I'm a Chicago native who no longer lives here, and I waited nearly a year to try Provare. While visiting for Labor Day weekend, I was excited to finally experience it. Unfortunately, the food, service, and overall experience fell far short of what I expected from an upscale restaurant. My reservation was at 3:00 p.m., but traffic had me running late. Between 2:45 and 3:10, I called seven times to let the restaurant know. No one answered, and there was no voicemail. When we arrived, two hostesses were chatting at the host stand, and neither answered when the phone rang while we were there. After being reminded that reservations are limited to 90 minutes, we spent about 15 minutes trying to find our server before asking a manager for help. When the server finally arrived, we ordered our drinks, appetizers, and entrées together, but they came separately, and the drinks arrived after the food. The food was average at best. The calamari was comparable to Applebee's, the salmon egg rolls were decent, and the lemon pepper chicken pasta was forgettable and something I could make better at home. For a $175 meal, I expected much more. To make matters worse, a staff member spilled water all over my feet while refilling my glass. Although the manager witnessed it, no one apologized or even asked if I was okay. The final insult was receiving our leftovers in a CHECKERS/RALLY'S paper bag. Other customers were given the same bags, which was especially bizarre for a restaurant presenting itself as upscale. Nothing about this visit felt upscale: not the service, food, attention to detail, or hospitality. Chicago has plenty of restaurants where $175 gets you a far better experience. I have no reason to return. Spend your money elsewhere. read more
I had a chance to visit again and the second experience was as good as the first. On a busy Friday evening, my party received our food in less than 30 minutes, everything piping hot and delicious. My friends also tried the butter cake and it lived up to all expectations. This is really my go to every time I visit! read more

Yes, I went with a party of 3, $15.00 at the time of my reservation. When we were ready we pay, $10.00 was taken off. We spoke with our waitstaff and pointed out the discrepancy and the $15.00 was subtracted.…
