    My experience today at cox communications was outstanding due to the outstanding customer service of Elijah, he not only did his due diligence on finding me the right modem to replace my faulty one, he took his time and educated me, and I felt well cared for as a loyal Cox customer. It's employees like Elijah, that will continue to keep me as a happy cox customer! Big things to Elijah for making my day brighter

    With all the negativity surrounding cox communications with pricing and bad services. I personally Just wanted to say thanks to Sergio who was very helpful to me the minute I walked into the door. I literally just left-- and my questions and service request was handled within 5mins. Very appreciative of their service today.

    I am here in line once again to do something simple but can't get through by phone and I have been in line waiting 1 hour, once again ( no exaggeration) Ridiculous. Hire more people Cox I mean you charge an exorbitant amount monthly. Even when your account is on seasonal hold they charge $10 monthly to keep on hold if u travel & have to do that. Great customer care - this review I meant to put in February 2023 but I felt bad and never sent it. Not now after all their bs Update: !!! I'm on the phone for over 50 minutes Because they over charged me again $131 dollars and just to ask get it reversed, they transferred me 5 times and still didn't reverse the overcharge. " They put in a request for me" to get the overcharged payment reversed. Review on January 4, 2024.

    Why did cox change email to Yahoo, not as friendly as past cox email. Yahoo not as friendly for older users.

I ordered a new phone online through Verizon and had trouble setting it up, so I made an appointment at this store for help. From the moment I walked in, I felt uncomfortable. Four employees were just sitting around, and not one greeted me. It felt like my presence was a burden. I explained that I had an appointment and needed help setting up my phone. One of them immediately asked if I bought it through Apple. I said no--it was through Verizon--and that I just needed a little help. I mentioned I had already tried using Verizon's online chat but was still having issues. They told me I needed a PIN, which I had never set up. I told them I was logged into my account, but they insisted they couldn't help unless I called a number to set it up. The person "helping" me wouldn't even listen or offer any real assistance. Then another employee jumped in and was extremely rude, telling me I needed to listen because they were the experts. I left the store in tears. When I got home, I called Verizon's helpline, and a kind representative walked me through setting up my PIN in minutes--something the store staff could have easily done if they had any sense of customer service. I will never go back to this location. I wish I had read the other reviews first--it would have saved me the frustration and wasted time. Clearly the owner doesn't care if you see their responses to all of the negative reviews and nothing has changed. Do better.

    My main problem with this Santa Barbara company was that they had to do repairs through a third…read moreparty--namely ATT & T. so sometimes it was a struggle to get this done. I was with them many years and in the fall of 2023, I receive a letter stating that they are going out of business. So I pay my last bill in October. In November I receive a credit statement. I call them them to tell them I have yet to recieve my refund check of $31 and change. They say it will take 4 to 6 weeks. In December I receive another credit statement but still no check. I call them on the 29th to find out what is going on. The woman who answered said they were going out that day. I wait another two weeks and nothing, so I call once again. When I press "3" for customer service, the recording says that they have closed premanently and now there is no one to speak to! So i write them two letters--one to the P.O. Box and the other to their street address. At the end of January I still have nothing. on Feb 9 I called the Santa Barbara DA's consumer fraud division. They don't think it's fraud (just a bad company) but will check into it. Next I'll be contacting the PUC. Looks like I've lost those $31 but that's 31 x 200,000 or 300,000 of their other customers in the state!

    Had a service call today on my Dish system and was so satisfied and appreciative that Ricardo came…read moreout to resolve the problem. Ricardo was the ultimate professional. He called 30 minutes prior and upon arrival was stellar in his customer service and knowledge. Ricardo asked me about the issue and looked at the main TV and equipment. Ricardo then looked outside at the Dish and transponders and told me he recognized an issue immediately. Ricardo installed a new splitter in a better location, adjusted the Dish and tightened everything. He utilized new cables as well. After that he checked the TV statistics and make internal adjustments on all TVs and bingo we has a much stronger signal and TV at all three units. A great value and top notch quality. Ricardo should be training all technicians as his knowledge base and ability to troubleshoot and explain the issue were phenomenal. Highly recommended!

He said he could send us a new remote if we purchased his senior citizen "promotion" of $199/mo that would includes "free" ADT home protection. After going round and round, him speaking disrespectfully the entire time, we asked for our cancellation. He just hung up on us. He needs to be fired, and DISH needs to better train their reps if they want to keep customers.
