Ramsin saved me some headaches. Was in a short trip to Santa Barbara from Sunnyvale to help my girlfriends family businesses with their network. On my last day we had some last minute changes and needed to find and setup a low cost (+/-$100) reliable server within 4 hours. There were only generic computer stores, i.e. Best Buy, Staples, Office Max. Not one local place listed online for parts to whip a PC together. Fry's Oxnard was too far. Ramsin has breathed new life into my ASUS laptop. The machine breezes happily along now, without the daily freezes I had come to expect. And I feel LIGHT, as if I'd lost weight, or got a new haircut! I thought my hard drive holding 4TB's and 3 years of music production work was lost when it fell from the table while powered on. It clicked and scratched when I plugged it in and my data was seemingly lost. I called Ramsin to try and help me recover my data. At first he told me he was unable to repair my drive and that in order to repair the drive it would have to be taken apart in a costly clean room procedure. Fortunately for me Ramsin was extremely persistent and tried multiple different techniques to recover my data failing each time until he succeeded, wherein he cloned my drive onto another and my data was recovered. All in all our ordeal took over a month of back and forth trying and failing until he was able to recover all of my data! Ramsin was a huge help in the recovery of my data, and extremely persistent in the face of a seemingly improbable recovery (not to mention patient). I am more than thankful that he continued to work on my drive even though he knew it may be a fruitless endeavor. I was having trouble with some devices connecting to my router. I finally decided to have a professional see if my router was the problem and have my issues resolved. Ramsin and I texted a few times working out what I needed and what my system was like so he would be prepared when he arrived (the next day). In just over an hour he had resolved my issues and my internet speeds went from 85mbps to over 200. He installed a new router set up the system; it seems all my troubles are over. I could not be more pleased with how this all went. I was very nervous about cost and what the end result would be. I know now I had no reason to be nervous about either. Ramsin was a savior at a crucial moment. My PC was fried by a rapid series of power failures. I was working on an important paper and found myself dead in the water. He recovered my data from a damaged hard drive, put in new hard drives and a new OS and had it back to me the next day. This all happened during the recent big fire in Ventura and Santa Barbara counties. I had been imagining having to cancel my presentation but I was back at work the next day (except for all the disruption caused by the fire but obviously Ramsin couldn't help with that). I will be using Ramsin in the future if needed. He was very fast and very reasonably priced especially compared to what it costs to send a damaged hard drive away for data recovery, not to mention the time it takes to get it back. My five-year-old computer finally gave out. I normally replace my computer with Costco off-the-shelf computers because they offer a great price and a 90-day return policy. Ramsin is the best around town! I have a msi motherboard gaming computer that wasn't booting at all, no display, but the fans were turning on and all the light were on. My HP desktop computer wouldn't turn on. Luckily I found the The PC Mechanic. I took the computer to the Mechanic and, within about 45 minutes, he dissembled the computer, blew out a pound of dust, replaced a faulty power supply, and a faulty DVD player all for a very reasonable price. On my flight from NJ to Santa Barbara I had just finished a 4 hour presentation that I was presenting the next morning. To my horror my harddrive crashed. After 3 plus weeks of frustration working with the Geek Squad and my new computer coming back worse each time, I took it back and took it to Ramsin.
