    COX COMMUNICATIONS REVIEW: This review is for Cox and not their local store. Cox uses outsourced employees who just barely speak English to save money and boost their profits. This isn't providing good service to their customers. These non-English speakers waste your time with ridiculous, over the top verbiage that turns a quick phone call into a 30+ minute exercise in absolute torture. EXAMPLE: "Please allow me to greet you with my most sincere enthusiasm, ma'am. I promise I will endeavor to provide you with the best, most excellent, truly wonderful service you could ever dream of in your entire life. I am ready to fulfill your every need, dear lady..." This is ALWAYS scripted. If they get interrupted, they lose it and stumble around, trying to communicate and mostly failing. Once the outsourced employee recites their scripted greeting (always ridiculously looooong) and it comes down to helping the customer, they comprehend very little and usually fail to provide the service the customer calls for. DO BETTER !!! ​ Apparently Cox is also messing with data meters for their modems. I conclude this as I was told by Cox that their data meter is "never wrong" and can't be skewed by a failing, bad modem. Our regular data usage runs from 35 to 74 GB per day. Our bad modem recorded a whopping 424 GB for 08/11/24 which is wrong. The good news is that a new modem is being installed tomorrow which puts our data meter back to ZERO. We've never run over our 1780 GB per month before so I'm happy the new modem should fix this problem. (See screen shots). This reminds me when our gas bill went through the roof because we had a hot water pipe break. I do NOT believe our failing modem didn't cause this. Hopefully the new modem will also prevent us from being kicked offline several times every hour ... ONCE AGAIN, COX SUCKS !!!

    can get good technical support, calls are dropp & they want to send someone and charge me, when they haven't even tried by phone.

    This is the worst Internet and TV service I've ever had. They have a monopoly in Mission Viejo and we need other types of Internet.

    The workers were extremely rude . The manager Edgar Aguirre was even worse than the people helping at the front.
