Nothing major or serious, just need to do blood count/drawn to maintain good health. Especially when you get to be a certain age. Yesterday, I went in at 4pm knowing that the last blood drawn was at 4:30pm and 30 minutes before their closing time. Whenever I have gone to this facility, I have NEVER had any bad, problems or issues with the staff. Whether it was dropping off a sample of urine/stool or drawing blood. Rosario drew my blood in less than 60 seconds. They are quick to admit, sign up is fast, quick like a morning/evening breeze, staff are very friendly, professional and helpful. By the time you want to sit down, they already text you and call your name to go in and get the work done. No complaints whatsoever. Bonus: close to my home!:-) Lab is BIG, CLEAN, with nice large windows and very bright inside. They are also quick to update your my chart/file by submitting your information on line. As we all know, certain responsibilities come with it. I need to pay $30 out of pocket for my copay. The remaining balance is handled by my insurance company. They have 2 bathrooms for men and for women with two stalls. Clean and sanitized. Underground parking with plenty of spaces and 2 elevators. That's all for now until my next visit. Thank you UCLA, and employees of the laboratory!!

Their waiting room is big but there's also another waiting area outside the door (for another UCLA clinic) however if the waiting room for the lab is at capacity there are more seats outside. Parking lot can be a challenge. Limited parking can get full pretty quickly. There are usually parking attendants to guide you or let you know there's no spots left.

The staff, nurses and doctor are all very personable and professional and don't give you any run arounds. They did offer more services here, but have sort of revamped to a testing/treatment only center as a lot of free clinics have in the past year or so. You'll get your results emailed and posted on their healthcare sight for your eyes and your physician's only through your account upon signing up. If you have an appointment arrive early and you'll be out in no time especially on a slower day, which varies week to week. If you walk-in and can't be seen right away, they can try to fit you in later in the day or hopefully schedule something in the same week. Your first visit you'll encounter some invasive questions about your personal, psychological and sexual life, which is very standard. Always try to be open and upfront as possibly especially if you're nervous so they can help better assist you and vice versa. Sex is nothing to be ashamed of and knowing you status is one of the most responsible thing you can do. You're in good hand here.

Yes, I had to wait a little (as expected), but it was worth it. Rosa, my phlebotomist, was extremely quick, professional, and kind. I'm so thankful for her and the whole Burbank Alameda team--they made the experience smooth and stress-free! Oh, and just a tip--there isn't any front desk staff here. Instead, there are three kiosks where you simply scan your driver's license and upload your insurance. It was extremely easy and made the check-in process very straightforward.

If you have an extra hour or two (or four, five or six!) to get a 5-minute blood draw procedure…read morethen Quest is the place for you! The wait times are simply UNBELIEVABLE. The people who own Quest must be wildly out of touch to think that this kind of dysfunction is appropriate. Here are a few survival tips: 1. Make an appointment. That way you might only maybe wait 1-2 hours. Yes, seriously. 2. Get up and stretch every half hour or your back will ache like hell. 3. Bring water. Whatever you do, do NOT get up and leave to get water and return in 5 minutes because if inexplicably call your name while you're not in the room, you will lose your place in line and .... they.... do ... not ..... care. 4. Bring snacks or be prepared for your blood sugar to take dive in about hour 3 of the marathon wait. 5. Be nice to the poor, overworked, abused staff who are getting hit from all sides. That is if you actually see them. The "reception" desk is closed and you handle checkin courtesy of some ipad looking things at the front. All jokes aside, this is NOT how healthCARE should be. It is so incredibly sad that Quest thinks that their patients have NOTHING BETTER to do and have no concept of CARING for their patients - most of whom are sick, and some are scared and stressed and Quest just adds to the misery. It's shocking they would let a company function like this. Saying that, the staff did their best and with such a horrible working environment, I'm impressed with their decorum. I want to make it crystal clear that the person who took my blood was friendly and efficient. The woman who came out about every 20-30 minutes to explain to everyone they would be there for hours was pleasant enough. It's the whole concept of Quest's customer service that needs a full blown overhaul, not the people. They were doing the best they could under pretty tough circumstances. THIS PLACE IS REALLY OUT OF SYNC WITH THE NOTION OF CARING FOR THEIR PATIENTS. SAD!

This is the second…read moretime I've had bloodwork done here and the staff I've worked with are so kind, with a great level of attention to detail. As a nurse, I know what to look for and appreciate when you can tell someone actually cares about their work. I can't remember who helped me last time (though I think she was in the first cubby on the right, sometime last year), but I was having around 20 vials of blood drawn including some very specialized labs, & she took her time ensuring she had all the right tubes for the right labs, as well as enough of them. She also found a billing error in my chart, which she facilitated the correction of. As far as I know, she did not have to do that; it was above and beyond. Today I had my blood drawn by Jamus (I think that's what his name tag said, I'm sorry if I misremembered!) and he got more than he bargained for when he asked me how my weekend was and my response was "rough." But instead of shying away from what could've been an awkward conversation, we had a laugh, and he asked me what happened. He was very sweet to listen & sympathize with me, especially as a fellow pet parent. He didn't have to do that either! He was also very gentle with the blood draw & let me know before I left how long the labs were expected to take to process. This location is also not overly crowded, and they do have a parking structure, though they unfortunately don't validate. I was able to find street parking today but I don't remember it being as expensive as the parking for the Quest locations in Burbank near the hospital. I'll be coming back here next time I need bloodwork done that I can't get drawn at my doctor's office. Thank you!!!

For test results, i use the quest app and they post them there for me to see which i think is amazing. Theres parking in the lot but you do have to pay. I always just park on the street. Only reason for giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because sometimes it gets kind of musty in the waiting room if there's a lot of people.

They will send you notification via text & email. Yes, there was a long wait in line (50 minutes for me) but at least I was in my car waiting comfortably. First, one staff would do the check in & take picture of my ID. Then different staff would do the test which only took about a few seconds.

Dr. Geoffrey Trenkle is a shame to Osteopathic medicine and a carpet bagger. DETAILS: This company unfortunately is the only reliable covid testing drive-up still around. "Unfortunate" because the operation, owned by Dr. Geoffrey B. Trenkle, has added a ton of upselling to bill patients and insurance companies. I recommend the IRS investigate because where there's smoke, there's fire. When you arrive, a rep will ask you all the same questions you submitted online. I doubt it's for verification --it seems like a waste of time. Then, the rep FORCES you to have a "telemedicine visit" with a physicians assistant. There's no medical or legal reason for this. The PA is outsourced to a low cost-of-living country, and they ask you the same exact questions you already told the person in front of you, and the form you completed online. This time I wanted covid PCR and was upsold to full respiratory panel. The blue coat said it was their "requirement". Despite that, the PA I was forced to talk to didn't approve the additional tests. So much for their requirements. Every time I've made an appt since they've been in business, they offer even more health tests. Perhaps the testing is legit however I have little faith in a medical provider who offers every possible test they can swab your face for. Drug testing, genetic testing, "men's health", contraception, whatever they can dole out through a car window. One of the absolute worst experiences I've ever had as a patient (and I've had a lot) is at Dr Trenkle's main business. LACENTA. Check out that review here: https://bit.ly/41mWaVp
