The building does not validate. The people who sit at the front will tell you to use the self check-in kiosk instead of helping you. Once you check-in, your name will show up on the TV. I went in for blood work and it seemed like they were under staffed. There were about 5 people ahead of me and I had a reservation for 11am. I arrived about 1015am and was seen not too long after. This location isnt my normal one. This was the only one that had availability for the time frame that I needed. As soon as I got situated in the station, they had me verify my information and they were quick to draw my blood. She was nice and apologized for the wait. read more

Where humanity goes to die. Had a scheduled appointment. Waited an hour to get seen. My name is finally called at which point I'm shown into the blood draw room where another patient is already is there (confirming how poorly managed this location is) finally shown to the blood draw location, I asked how long it would be until my blood would get drawn and was told it would be another hour + That's a 2 hr wait for a scheduled appointment minimum. I left, and I won't come back. It became obvious that they were behind, they could have communicated or offered updates about how behind or understaffed they were. There were 15-20 people waiting to get seen at the end of the day, all visibly frustrated waiting to be seen - all getting selected in a mismanaged order. I gave it another try but did not find any improvement in service. The technician who drew my blood was quite unfriendly and did not seem happy about being at work. It was not a good experience. To make matters worse , I had an appointment and still had to wait 45 minutes before being taken for my blood draw. It cost me $10 to park in the attached parking structure, while I sat there waiting with an appointment and showed up on time. I had a 12:00 PM appointment but wasn't seen until 1:00 PM. The front desk was unattended for about 30 minutes, despite a full waiting room, which shows they are clearly understaffed. The only helpful and professional employee was a shorter woman with black hair who drew my blood and also covered the front desk--she was very quick and efficient. Horrible experience I was a walk in so I was expecting to wait but waited 2.5 hours and nothing is more irritating then when you see them confused with your papers and people going into the break room for 30 min-1 hour as their waiting room is packed. Either schedule accordingly or have a little courtesy then to go on a 1 hour lunch when your waiting room is fully packed with people waiting! Don't use their check-in kiosk - it rarely works, and the staff know it but they can't be bothered warning the customers. The one I used today seemed to be OK - accepted my drivers license scan and said to wait until my name is called. After almost an hour, I went to the front desk to enquire about my status (I was a walk-in) and she informed me that I wasn't in the queue because the kiosk doesn't work. I walked in on time exactly for my blood test . I filled out the kiosk and was immediately called inside and greeted by a very pleasant young gentlemen in crisp blue scrubs and a kind face with a pleasant smile. I shared with him my concerns of possibly fainting...since I had not eaten anything since the previous night so my test results would be accurate . Another lovely polite medical assistant seemlessly took my hand gently and brought me to a more private area with a clean hospital style bed and then several more of these helpful smart kind attendants assured me I would be treated with the utmost gentleness and care. I did let them know the best needle size to do there draw and an extremely skiklwd phlabotomist seamlessly drew my blood and I was very impressed ...not even a little bit of pain.. I have been in several lab corps and this was by far the worst experience, for someone who is fasting and pregnant?! The front desk receptionist was the rudest, and she didn't even want to answer questions for any patients that were here. Including myself. I have NEVER been injured from having blood drawn, since I've always been told I have great veins for this type of thing. The lady who drew my blood was also the receptionist; despite being kind, she was completely overwhelmed by having to run up front to check people in and then run back to perform the lab draws. She even admitted they were short staffed, but the quality of work shouldn't be affected. Take less appointments, change online scheduling, do not let the amount of work sacrifice your attention and diligence to the job. On the walk back to my car, it felt like someone had repeatedly punched my arm. I couldn't bend it or get out of my sweatshirt without help. I was taken out of my daily routine for almost 2 full days. I am no doctor, but this looks like the vein was missed and perhaps even the lower bicep was punctured. What a huge mess that office is. I went in to leave a sample of blood and no one there knew what they were doing. The overworked woman behind the desk barely looked up. I was there at 10 am to sign in for a 10:15 am appointment. At 10:30 am, when I got up and asked the woman at the desk how long she thought it might be until someone could see me, she said, 'You have an appointment?'. Uh, yeah, I made it two weeks ago? Made an appointment. Arrived early. Checked in with the automated check in. Showed identification and insurance a few minutes later. then watched as the waiting room filled up, with no patients being called for 15 or 20 minutes. Then all those later arrivals were called in before me, After an hour, I tried to ask the reception person why I hadn't been called. But there was no on at reception. Finally when one of the workers stepped into the office, I expressed my displeasure. A few minutes later I was called in. The blood sample was expertly taken, but I will not be using them again. They're customer service is horrible!!! I've been here a few times already for my grandma and they never welcome you in. There have been multiple times where I say Hello to the girls at the front desk and they either ignore me or just stare at me without saying anything. When you have a question they are rude with the way that they respond or tell you to sit down and wait without hearing out what you need to say first . The last time I went, one of the ladies at the front desk was just on the phone laughing/ sounding like she was having a personal conversation while there was a patient waiting for her to finish talking on the phone because he had a question . I had to wait for 2 hours just to drop off a pee sample. The first time they told me that they didn't have my order in but it turns out they were just spelling the name wrong even after I spelled it out for them multiple times. so they had me waiting for no reason. This location is really great and stood out from the other locations I visited to get drug tested for a new job. I was really nervous I wouldn't make it on time as all online appointments were booked out and it was the last day for me to take the test. I went to other locations and the staff wasn't as warm and welcoming as this location. Not to mention, they were not accommodating for walk-ins but this location was. Barbara checked me in and did my drug test. She had great customer service and managed multiple people's needs with kindness, ease and grace. I really appreciated her getting everyone in and the wait wasn't too long. Stood in line for 15 minutes to use their self-registration iPad that doesn't work, sat down for 20 minutes until someone told me that this location does not do drug testing. In and out! I order female panels online via Life Extension about once a year for bloodwork and LabCorp always makes this process so quick and painless. They do touch screen check ins which makes everything in the waiting room faster, and I love their online appointment system. The people there are kind and bubbly, always attentive and chatty. No one wants to get their blood taken - or hand over any other sort of bodily fluid, but if you must - I would recommend doing so here. There's a parking structure connected to the building - CASH ONLY - and it's double parking so you usually have to leave your keys in the car. This LabCorp today was revelatory: clean, refreshed not only the physical plant but by the people who work here including Miss Barbara who i have re-named in the best of senses....Miss Mary J as Barbara looks and acts in such a personal way so as to recall mary j blige. It's amazing how much a fresh coat of paint and a bit of organizing can add to the overall positive impression of any medical office. Except maybe for getting a Colonoscopy i can't think of anything more invasive then someone grabbing your arm and sucking up your blood in a small tube for the techs to test. Yes this is good as it brings forth any issues but it is not pleasant. Well today along with the physical plant having been improved but also the staff being improved it was a pleasure to give up what seems like a gallon of my life source. The check in via a Kiosk was easy and fast and my appointment time was honored. The whole process took about 15 minutes and i was out the door. Came here to get my drug screen test done for employment. They told me they only take appointments for drug screening, but I only had 48 hours to get this done which is why I walked in. They said to come back the next day. I ended up going to Pasadena location same day, which was so much better both in service and parking. Pasadena also said that this Burbank location should have been able to take me in for walk-in drug screen. Also, worker lady was very rude "helping" the person in front of me who had trouble with checking in, giving him attitude and laughing the whole time. Very unprofessional. Suggestion: Call beforehand & speak to a worker the same day you go to make sure they'll take you, so you don't waste your time. Or just go to Pasadena to skip the hassle. read more

Filthy--and I got SICK from visiting. I was so nervous about having to go in to get a urinalysis done for a suspected bladder infection, but I read Labcorp's website and all their assurances that they're doing extra cleaning and sanitizing during the pandemic. It was a complete lie. It was absolutely filthy inside. The check-in kiosk looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months. The bathroom was in complete disarray, with no paper towels or soap in the dispensers. Instead the paper towels were strewn across a short table sitting a foot from the floor (where aerated particles from each toilet flush rain down all over them) next to a nearly empty, grime-covered bottle of soap. The cherry on top? I became ill with a cold (or COVID? Still awaiting my results) two days after visiting. It's literally the only place I've been all month. I passed whatever I have over to my husband, who is much more sick than I am now. It ruined our Thanksgiving. Do yourself a favor and avoid this Labcorp location like the plague. read more

Get here a bit before they open, because parking in the street fills up fast. Monday's are the most crowded at Labcorp for some reason. Check in is electronic and if you need help the lab worker at the front desk will stand next to you and assist you. You walk into the room and go to the electronic touch screen kiosk. Place your license/ID on the card holder and it scans it and brings up your info. Press the yes or no on the prompts onscreen and in a minute, you're checked in. After that, the woman at the front desk calls your name and you hand in the lab order. If you get here early, just before they open, you're the first up and the first to leave within the hour. It can be anywhere from 20 min to an hour. Not bad. read more

Want to know how that went? If you get faint or squeamish stop reading now. She punctured my vein straight through. It hurt, badly. I bruised up and down my entire arm and have had the bruising on my arm from this broken vein for 2+ weeks. I've had to wear a compression sleeve and ice my arm every day. I also cannot work out because the circulation is broken. My arm goes freezing cold if I try to work out. I don't know her name. She worked at the front desk on Wednesday 9/18.
