Rude staff time and time again. The bartenders have always been nice it is usually the younger staff that leaves a lot to be desired. The wings for take out are different than for eat in. The take out wings are tiny! They won't give you a paper plate either. The prices are high for what you are getting on most items... not all items but most of them. Rudeness from hostess. Tried to squeeze 3 adults with 2 of them over 6 feet tall at a table for 2 and added a 3rd chair. When we asked for more room and to include the 2nd table next to us, we were told if it gets busy we would have to give up the 2nd table. Really???? Only have done take out for wings. Wings are good, fried crispy but some sauces need some work. Teriyaki is lacking flavor or maybe they just need to put more on. My family likes the food, but the staff is awful I don't think we have ever gotten one polite waiter or waitress here. My mother got a salad with candied walnuts and they were obviously burned when she got her salad. She let our waitress know politely that they were burned and our waitress got very defensive and actually told my mother she was wrong and that's how they were supposed to be. We've had their salad with walnuts before and it was quite clear they were BURNED! The last couple times the staff wasn't friendly and just never made an effort to check on our table. Then my dad ordered a blue moon and they gave him the wrong one we had the same lady and he let her know and she told him "no you ordered this I didn't make the mistake". The food was ok so I have been there a couple times. On third time I ordered a burger to go. Shockingly, they put ketchap packages in the same container with burger and fries. Wasn't expecting much based on its history, but was pleasantly surprised. Crowd consisted of a few tables of women and a few of college kids. Since that original outing over the holidays I have been back twice more. Have had a very good salad and a reasonable steak sandwich. Certainly as good as the Tavern, my usual stop. Waitress ignored us for twenty minutes until i called her over. She rolled her eyes and came and took our order with an attitude. Never asked what we wanted to drink. Food came almost 45 minutes later, cold, like it sat in the kitchen under heat lamps for two days. I complained to the owner but he was at the bar, drunk, and didn't care at all. I dined here last night for the first time. The place is well designed and I loved that they have the MLB package so you can watch whatever game you want. Tuesday nights are 39 cent wings which is very hard to beat. I ordered multiple flavors of wings but all of them were relatively bland. I'd like to see the sauces bind more to the meat, instead of drip off. I also noticed that the straws are not covered with paper (a bit unsanitary). However, for a sports bar I cannot complain too much and will likely return in the future. read more

While I love this restaurant and have been there several times..I just want to make one suggestion...Learn how to make a Kale salad (then I will give this place 5 stars) For a kale salad you don't just cut up the kale and serve it...I suggest you read several Kale salad recipes to learn how...when making a Kale salad after cutting the ribs off and cutting up the Kale, you have to sprinkle it with salt and (I know this sound funny but it's true) then massage and scrunch the kale with your hands to bring out the flavor thus making it turn a bright green...let it sit in the bowl for at least 1/2 hour THEN prepare it according to the recipe. By massaging the kale it makes the bitterness and toughness of the Kale go away and enhances the flavor of the salad. read more

This place is great. It doesn't matter if I go with friends or with my wife and our three young children, Cover Two is the place to go. It's a great place to go if you have kids. The food is delicious. I've never been a big fan of wings, but last night I must have eaten about 25 when my wife was given 21+ free wings for her birthday (a wing for each year.) Cover Two always has a nice beer selection, and the staff is absolutely wonderful. If you haven't been here, you should fix that. read more

I can say I'm a fan of the wings! Last night was my first time there. Place was packed and the service was awful. We sat at the table by the bar and we were invisible to staff members. They would come up near the bar, never look in our direction, turn around and go back into the dining room or kitchen. It was almost comical. We did get the free b-day wings, bought several rounds of drinks. Left the server a 30% tip, as I didn't know if she was not good at her job or if the management was not good at theirs. Went with a group of people for drinks. Got drinks from the bar and sat at a table. Nobody ever came to the table to see if we wanted another round. Went to bar to get a round and had to wait. The bartender was out near the tables. Some of the group were half done with their drinks before we got the full drink order. In a three hour period nobody came to the table. We were a group of at least 10 people so each round wasn't cheap. Had to go yo the bar to order food. Service was awful and they lost out on a lot more business if it didn't take so long to get a drink. read more

Our family tried Cover Two on Sunday night and was very pleased with the food. The portions were very good and everything looked fresh. (The chili cheese nachos were very good) It wasn't crowded when we arrived, maybe 6-8 other people in the "dining area" but the bar stools were full. They also had seating outside. Our waitress was nice, but not as attentive as I would like. We sat there with empty drinks most of the night. The other staff, that we encountered, needs to trained a little better on the hospitality aspect of being in the restaurant business. (I have over twenty years of experience) The young lady that sat us, and brought over our food, had a real crappy personality and the bus boy didn't look like he wanted to be there either. Our experience would have been so much better if all of the staff knew how to interact with people in a pleasant manner and make customers feel welcome instead of making them feel like a burden. Wait staff today, don't understand that a big smile and a little conversation goes a long way and probably increases a tip by 20%. Unfortunately my wife paid the check behind my back, because it was fathers day, and gave a 20% tip, where I would have only given 15%, and that would only be for the quality of the food.
