The cashier…read more(the gentleman with glasses) was not friendly and didn't follow normal protocol when opening a new register to help with long lines. I had already been waiting for quite a while, and only two cashiers were working. He walked over to a third register, and it appeared he was opening it. He made eye contact with me several times, so it was clear he knew I was waiting. After about five minutes, he motioned to a gentleman who arrived after me and took him first. There was no way he didn't realize the order of the line. After assisting that customer, he finally looked up and told me he could help me at his register. At that point, I declined -- the situation was handled poorly, and I was frustrated. I won't be returning to this location. For contrast, the Ace Hardware in La Crescenta is consistently professional, friendly, and a pleasure to shop at.

He showed us several offerings by some of the brands. He gave us plenty of to think about. I came back about a week or so later to narrow things down to which set of fixtures for two bathrooms. After looking around a little more, Sal asked if I would like some help. After describing what I was hoping to find, he guided me to the collections that would be best for our project. He really knows the merchandise they have and wrote up the estimate and emailed me the next day. We came back a few days later and met with Mason again and made a few minor adjustments to our order. Instead of searching through a huge warehouse, hoping to find someone to help you, everything here is right in front of you, and there's plenty of help if you need it. We brought in a screen door to have the screen replaced. The price was very reasonable, and the quality of work was top notch. They said it might take a day or two, but the work was completed later the same day. So many local hardware stores have closed up recently. We're sure glad Arnold's is here!
