I found a decent salad on the mostly unhealthy menu, and the server was very helpful and considerate. This is a truck stop not far from an electric vehicle charger, so I'm grateful. Prices were fair. Stopped here while driving home from Texas to Cali. I was excited to see a country style restaurant and not just the common fast food restaurants in a gas station. The restaurant was really clean and neat, first impression was great. The servers came up right away to offer assistance. Friendly staff. The food was pretty high priced but we are here anyway. Once we got our meals our impression deflated. We ordered the chef salad, a chicken sandwich and a club sandwich. The chef salad was the only meal worthy of a picture. The chicken sandwich was average, came with French fries. The club was made with 2 regular pieces of bread, basically a regular sandwich cut in 4 pieces. Well, here I M on the home stretch of a 4 state road trip. Just finished the 12 hour drive across Texas only to run out of water in the RV. We stopped in Wilcox, Az right off the fwy. Exit at a TA gas station and RV stop. The attendant At TA was so sweet and allowed me to fill my fresh water tank and recommended the restaurant next door to get a bite. No frills and at the time, it was pretty empty so I didn't get the benefit of looking at other peoples plates as they were coming out. LOL anyway, we ordered the chicken fried steak breakfast, pork chop breakfast and as alway, my son got a burger of some sort. I don't know why, but the food was surprisingly delicious. The vibe of the place was like a Denny's so I think that was my expectation but YAS, what a pleasant surprise. Pork chop was huge, fried but still juicy and seasoned to perfection. Jennifer, our server is definitely operating in her gift, she was the sweetest and most helpful server we've had in quite a while. Her hospitality was the icing on the cake. This is a truck stop, so expect large portions - we could have easily split our meal. The salad/soup bar was excellent, my husband liked his BLT. The waitress was very nice and we tupped her accordingly. She was new but you could tell she was trying. The food was not good. The pancakes turned into mush my daughter was able to mold into different shapes. She didn't want to eat it. My partner ordered corned beef hash and it was very bland, her hash browns were both burnt and undercooked somehow. I ordered a burger and was sad to find my burger to be dry and unseasoned. We were on a roadtrip and had to stop for lunch, and after looking at the "top" reviews for restaurants in town, we landed here. When we got inside, we sat ourselves like the sign suggested, but no one came to our table for probably 10-15 minutes. The restaurant was generally clean, but could have used a couple more servers. Also, the food and drinks took a long time to come out. If you're looking for something cheap and quick, this probably isn't the best place for you to stop at. I do remember seeing some fast food chains next door, so if you are in a hurry, that might be best for you. While the portions were decently sized and everything we ordered was really good, it was quite expensive for our family of 4. We recommend the chicken fried chicken, and their salads! But maybe skip the mashed potatoes, as they were definitely softer than we prefer. Also, the coffee wasn't our favorite. The soft drinks were fine, however. Overall, it was a decent meal. I'm doing one star. If I could, I'd put zero. I had a group of 6 children and 7 adults, they refused our service because they were too busy. (Mind you there were only a few tables being used.) This is my goto restaurant on I-10 when traveling through Arizona. It is at the TA stop in Wilcox, AZ. They have a very clean restaurant, great buffet )which I've enjoyed), and a complete menu. Breakfast is served all day so no worries. They are willing and ready to please special requests so no need to be shy. We stopped here to eat on on a family trip we all had wonderful meals and phenomenal service would definitely recommend this place. Kids plate are free with an adult meal for the summer. Large meal portions, salad bar was large full and clean. read more

After a long day of driuving my daughter, 6 year old granddaughter and I stopped by for dinner. The place was nice and clean and the ambience was okay. Server was very busy at 8 PM but still managed to gove us good service. Price was OK. The salad bar (for which they should be given kudos since truck stops don't often have these) was adequate in selection and freshness, with the exception of the snow peas some of which had black spots and were clearly worth throwing in the garbage. There were 2 soups - vegetable and cream something / chowder - and both were adequate if a bit salty and with an interesting but not unpleasant flavour. The other food is what let the restaurant down. Evertying seemed old and overcooked or mushy. The mashed potatoes were adequate. It is acceptable to fill a hole in the stomach, but other than that the food is worth a pass. read more
