Country Homes Power has been AMAZING. We had a 19+ year old hot tub that needed to be replaced. We started at the fair grounds just to look and there was only one company (not local). I think the their hot tubs were on sale, but the staff were pushy, wanted a $100 deposit while we thought about it, wanted to deliver on Monday and then they were off to the next city/state and said everything would be fine, don't worry about getting it there, it will fit, electrical is good (felt as though they would say anything to just make a sell). We went to Country Holmes Power (also had an weekend event and they are local) and we were met by Garth. Garth acknowledged and spoke to my wife and I, but also our sons, who were with us that Saturday. Garth was not pushy, showed us their inventory and explained different tubs and care systems (O-care). We left that Saturday with no purchase and no commitment, just Garth thanking me and my family for stopping by and if we had any questions to reach out. The next week I called to set up for a free home consultation/inspection for removal of old, delivery of new and ensure electrical was good. I met James who came out and inspected the back yard, measured between gates, measured between ground and eve clearance, talked about which way we wanted the new tub facing...just very thorough and detailed. There was some questions regarding electrical at first. I then started working with Nik (Garth was on vacation) and Nik stepped in, answered all my questions, looked into answers he didn't know and got back to me and gave me time to think and talk with my wife without pressure. We also worked with Brian regarding financing options, he gave a print out of options and possibility's. My wife and I decided on a hot tub and were ready to move forward. We had a delivery date scheduled but due to the Spokane Fires I had to put it on pause. They were more than patient and waited for me to call them once we were ready. James and Nik delivered our new hot tub, help get it set up the way we wanted, installed the lift/cover, explained maintenance care and answered every questions I had. I did not feel like they were in a hurry and ready to get to the next job, they care about their customer and making sure they are happy. I normally do not write reviews but I should more often as I appreciate the information I get when looking at a company or product. I give Country Homes Power, Garth, Nik, James and Brian all 5 stars. From start to finish they were not pushy, answered all my questions, and I really feel they put in a ton of effort to make sure I was happy and satisfied. My entire experience was extremely positive, I will continue to use them and reach out to these four gentleman and I would recommend them to friends and family. They worked with me to move things out of the way because I purchased a tub that was a top too big for the area that I needed to put it in, but we got it in there safely with no issues, they helped me set everything up and explained everything thoroughly on how to maintain and care for the hot tub. I would give it zero stars if I could. Worst customer service I have EVER had in my life. Called to get a part for a mower, guy asks if I bought the mower from them, I told him I did not! He said in that case he can not look up the parts number for my mower I would have to provide the exact parts no for the item I wanted to buy from them. So, if you did not buy it there they will not even look up what part you need (even if you have the model number for your mower) in order to buy that very part from them!!! What a absolute joke! I'll make sure to never ever buy ANYTHING there ever again!!! I wish I never came here and heeded the 2 star rating. I bought a new hot tub off the showroom floor that was a closeout model and was reduced price. The delivery and set up were OK. But they gave me a beat up used vinyl cover. I sent photos of the cover in asking why I was given a torn and stained cover. I was then told I bought a scratch/dent demo model. So I get a scratch and dent cover. I dont see scratches or dents. However, we agreed to split the cost of a new cover, which was an acceptable compromise. They placed the order for a new cover. We picked it up. Put it on the tub, and it opens the wrong way. It is supposed to open on the side with the controls. That is industry standard. They installed my tub so they knew what way it opened and the lift assist was on the opposite side of the controls. I went in to discuss and they said I'm stuck with this cover because it's special order. No refund, even though THEY ordered the cover incorrectly. So far after more than 2 months, they have offered nothing to resolve the situation and refuse to take responsibility. read more

With two locations it is easy to stop in and get supplies when I need. What can you say about the delivery. On time as scheduled. James and Preston are amazing, the had to deliver my hot tub to my back patio which required going through some mud. They were extremely careful and offered suggestions with placement. I purchased a riding lawn mower from these people and then after a year purchased a grass bagger, which I attempted to install myself. It is impossible. The directions are virtually non-existent and the hardware is lacking. So, I call Country Homes and tell them my story. They can't help. The guy actually says if they help me over the phone they lose money on service calls so they won't help me over the phone. But, after some ranting and raving on my part, he patches me through to the service department who tells me that no one is there to help but even if they were it isn't policy to help people over the phone. It's best to just bring it in and they will charge me to install it. Greedy fucks. I have given you almost seven THOUSAND dollars and you are mashing on me for another hundred bucks to install your shitty grass catcher? Fuck you!! Do not buy from these people. We bought a hot tub over 2 years ago. The tub worked great for over 4 months. Then it started blowing codes and not working. We contacted service since it was under warranty. They came out to our house twice and ended up replacing numerous parts. Then is still continued to only work a couple of weeks then break. After a lot of calls to their service manager, he refused to come to our house. We ended up having to take to their shop. They told us they would have it a couple days, 3 weeks later we got it back and they charged us 100.00. This was all within the first 10 months. We haven't been able to use it more then 3 weeks at a time without it breaking. Today we had another company come to house to fix it. Within 20 minutes, they found out country homes service had it wired wrong in the heat sensor area. Country homes during the 1st year wasn't good about returning our calls after the 1st 2 service calls. Would never buy anything from them. read more

We bought a brand new self-propelled snowblower from here three years ago. Every year since, when snow blowing, it stops moving half the time, and needs to be pushed manually. Every year we have taken it in, and they claim it has been fixed. It's happening again this year. And we were just informed by the Service Manager that when the diaphragm gets wet, it stops and needs to be dried out until you can use it again. It sounds like this snowblower isn't to be used in the snow. We were also informed all snowblowers work this way. For all the years we have been snow blowing, no other snowblower needed to be dried out before it worked correctly... probably won't be doing business here again. read more

Worked the team at Country Homes Power to make a couple of purchases. First, the hot tub. Easy review and questions were answered directly and supported by printed materials from the manufacturer. Next purchase was the massage chair. After doing some research with Sam and trusting his advice we selected a model to have shipped in. Of course due to COVID there were delays and the product shortages. Sam worked through all the issues and even stepped up and helped me with the selection, delivery, and installation. All in all, I had a great experience, my hot tub is in and functioning like it should and the massage chair is an absolute blessing. I am pleased with the assistance given to me by the team at Country Home Power. Avoid shopping here if at all possible and definitely, definitely do not get any extended warranties. They way overcharge and then they have a clause that they will only do service in January, February and August. So if you want it serviced any other time you are out of luck. Parts are extremely overpriced and can purchased for less than half on line if they even have them. When I did order parts from here, I got the wrong part 3 consecutive times! I bought a mower/snow blower with extended warranty service agreement a year ago... when they swapped the snowblower from the mower deck this last time, it didnt seem to be running right and ended up shredding the belt after just a few minutes of runtime... so... brought it back... to get repaired (Of course, the work was not covered under warranty... with every little problem it was never covered... or was returned still with the issue it went in with) charged me $172.00 for a belt... not installed because I brought the mower deck to have it swapped back.... $300.00 for that.... They are just not reputable... You would think paying top price would give you top service.... I wish I had seen their rating here on Yelp before I purchased... My husband and I bought a new pellet stove from here in early November. We buy it on a Saturday. We put it were our other one was for 3 years.fill it with pellets plug it in,it drops6 pellets and goes in to a automatic shut down. I call the north side store in Spokane were we bout it. We offered to bring it back for a exchange for one that worked. Or pay extra for one in stock. Was told no we just sale them call the manufacturer! It is the motherboard, How can a motherboard go out in a new pellet stove that was attached to a palette and wrapped in cardboard? So they say it's how it is vented send pics. We put it were the other one was for three years. Now I have to buy a motherboard and pay them to install it!! Wow!!! The part won't be in until December 23rd,it is winter!!!! We have a small restaurant, over100 year old building. We needed it, 17 degrees out side, the only restaurant in this small town! We are 70 miles from Spokane, but we were willing to bring it back and fix this. I tried to do a charge back to get our money back. It was denied because we didn't have them start it in the store. I've called several stove stores in the area and asked if they try every stove before they sale them and was told no! So now what?? We are out $2300.00!!!!!!what if we were elderly and on a fixed income and that is our only heat. This Sunday is going to be 1 degree. Bought Harmon XXV Pellet stove in April, Started Using in Sep. Ran 2 months party time perfect. Then loud buzzing from Distribution Fan. I called County Homes where I got it, it's under warranty for at least a year. Been 14 days. I ordered new fan myself for 117 from Electronics Distributor because I got tired of waiting in the cold. When I took it out found 2 sheet metal screws inpacking the fan housing. The Buzz. I fixed that. Still waiting on County Home. I give up. Glad I can do my own repairs. read more

Country home power wants me to drive 4 hours round trip so they can put a cable on that I can buy on the internet for $12. So I took my snow thrower to my local in town husqvarna dealer. After two weeks, two snowstorms and no word I stopped in to check on my snow thrower only to learn that there is a national backorder until February 9. Called country homes power again 1/22/18 and they said they would send a cable to my local dealer. Thanks, I appreciate that! Problem is today is 1/31/18 and no cable in sight. Called country homes again and spoke with David who said Ray was there warranty guy and works at another store and he would email him? That was at 10 am this morning, and now it's 4:30 and I still have not heard anything back. I called again to see what was going and David got all nasty with me about how there are customers in the store and I shouldn't expect an answer back. BUYER BEWARE!!! IF THERES CUSTOMERS IN THE STORE, THEY DONT HAVE TIME FOR YOU, EVEN WHEN YOU HAVE BEEN WAITING ALMOST A MONTH. So I called husqvarna nationwide number. I had researched the mowers and prices so I was one step ahead of the sales guy and would have walked out had I felt being played. I was satisfied with my purchase, delivery, and the product. I did not need much information from the sales person, just write it up and let me pay for it! Overall I was pleased with the purchase and have no complaints. I have never seen as many dissatisfied customers with a local business as I see with Country Homes Power on Yelp.
