Go with any company but this one. They charge for services/ repairs they never perform. Then turn you over to Collections. It's concerning when they charge you for a new light fixture in the pool, that was never replaced, still cracked and broken. Makes you question what other services they said they did??? BEWARE In response to your response: This be very clear. You were to replace a broken light. I was promised a new light fixture that works. I'm aware of your door hanger and your multiple attempts to collect monies not owed to you. I consider this harrassment. I have reached out, left voicemails and letters. Just because you come out to a property and turn on a switch doesn't make me responsible for your lack of judgement. No diagnosis was needed. You were aware of what needed to be done. Side note, there is no iaqualink panel inside. It's obvious your company lacks experience with my equipment. I had to get my heater running because your techs didn't get it up and running for the season. Hmmmm, maybe I should have gotten a discount on my spring pool opening. We used this company for three seasons. Spending a great deal of money upgrading our pool tile and concrete. Of course that project went over budget. During this construction I watched the service guys clean their tools in the standing water of our pool, but when work was completed they charged us an additional $600 to clean the pool! When they mistakingly measured for the metal casing that covered our automatic pool cover we ended up with a very low grade home made aluminum panel that is quite an inconvenience to move when it is necessary to access, as it no longer has access panels. Every year since the new concrete, they have had to re-anchor the tracks for pool cover. Causing additional service fees and forcing us to lower our pool water mid-season, which they charge us for as well. Our cleanings were regular, but all trash from chemicals was left in storage area. Every year they closed I have had to rearrange the tarp and retrieve it from the pool within the first month. They have no regard for our personal property or equipment, tossing it to the side if it is in their way. This is our final season with them, as stated by others we have seen an increase in not only service fees but now trip charges!! read more

We were given bad advice by another local pool contractor and purchased a pool heater from California. He scheduled installation and then canceled on us. He became very nasty which has not been unique to most businesses and contractors during COVID. I called several companies in Spokane and none would install a heater I did not purchase from them. Pool Service Company was willing to help me out when no one else would. They scheduled a timely install. Malcolm and Ray, the installers, were incredibly kind and professional getting our pool heater up and running. Everyone we talked to from the receptionist to the sales folks and the installers were helpful and provided quality service. These guys really helped me out of a jam. Generally handle and maintain all pool service items myself. However, I broke the pipe to the filter last season and couldn't find the part to fix it for the life of me. After trying 6 different things on Amazon I called Pool Service Company and they said a tech would pop by and see what I did. Not only did someone come by, he fixed it while he was there - great service. I was so impressed that decided to have them install my new liner this season. When making the appointment to get my pool closed, I was told that I need to raise the water level in my pool. So I did. I was never told of an additional trip charge of $19.95. Pool was closed, got the bill and two additional charges. One for the trip charge which was never stated to me and which is always included in the price so I assumed since it wasn't on the invoice last year, and a charge to lower the water level! I wouldn't have filled my pool back up if the appointment rep had not told me to do so in the first place! I called to resolve this issue and explained if they cannot remedy this, I would look for another company and the woman on the phone said, "Well good luck finding another company." Good grief. First off this place deserves ten stars since they are so phenomenal on their pool cleaning, pool service and customer service! Shout out to Skyler, Mike, Dave, Kris and MJ for being such awesome people! You all go above and beyond to make me and my family happy with your service. The owner of the company which I think his name is Paul, is an amazing business owner he literally came out to my house when we first moved in on a very hot day to show us how to use our pool and what to know about it because we didn't know the first thing about owning a pool...hahaha! That was three years ago! I have never had any problems with The pool service and we have used them for three years. Skyler is such an amazing guy and if I ever needed any extra help or ideas on my pool hes always right on top of it and goes out of his way to call me and let me know about things. The pool guys are literally the nicest hard working pool cleaning guys you will ever meet!! I'm here alot by myself when they come and I feel so safe when they come. They are so polite and they truly get the job done. They always leave my pool sparkling clean. Sometimes my husband will be here and my husband will talk their ears off about how to do this and what do you think about this and they always give him their time and knowledge on what they think. We moved into our home two years ago and hired The Pool Service Company to maintain our in-ground swimming pool over the course of the last two summers because the previous owners of our home were already using them. We paid them to open and close the pool as well as for weekly pool service. They also performed repairs to things like the heater and pump system on an as-needed basis. However, things went south when it was time winterize our pool last fall. When they came out, we discovered the water level was low but they never suggested it might be caused by a problem with a liner. Instead, they charged us for the weatherization service and moved on. Apparently, they liner had failed and so the water leaked out within a month. When we called for a bid to replace the liner, they came out and gave us a bid of $7,000 even though they had told us to budget closer to $4,500 a year before. This bid was surprising because it was so much higher than what they said it would be and also because our neighbor was charged $4,500 by them and because our pool is a simple rectangle shape with no built-in stairs. Nonetheless, while we were saving up for the difference, we received a bill for $130 for the quote. I was blown away because we were existing customers planning to proceed with their $7,000 quote and because they had never charged for a repair quote in the past and because they never disclosed upfront that there would be a charge for this estimate. The lack of disclosure is still my biggest frustration. I would not recommend working with this company based on the fact that they will charge you for things without telling you upfront. read more

Rude and insulting, this company will never get our business again. They did work on our pool that failed, and then they refused to come back and follow through. They also refused to refund the $250 we had paid them for the shoddy workmanship that failed. Surprised this company is in business still. read more

Unfortunately this company changed ownership from what I am told about two years ago and it has not been the same. we used them for cleanings and had trouble with billing and once they left our backwash going and flooded our neighbors yard. we made the mistake of trusting them to put in a new pool liner which was $6000 and it took 2.5 months and when it was done had huge wrinkles in it, rocks underneath the liner, they removed the foam board and did not replace it, and its been leaking since it was installed. we have hired another company to come in and assess the leak situation and try to fix what can be fixed. This company will not take responsibility for any of the issues but instead tried to blame us and say we must have done something to the liner even though we could tell it was leaking immediately after installation. I would not give even one star if I didn't have to. read more

I have used this company for 3 years and every year they charge me for chemical. That would be fine but they use my chemicals. I have called and complained and they just tell me that is not true that they had used their product. Again this year they charged me for 4gls of chlorine. They always leave the empty containers. So this year they used 1 gal of chlorine of theirs 1 gal of my agliaside and 2 of my containers of ph increaser. They charged me for 4gl of chlorine and 1 container of ph in-creaser. I called the company and talked with the owner and he stated it was not so; but he would talk to the guys. Called me back and told me some story about my pool water was so bad and before they put my cover on they had to add my ph to the pool. I told him he had the wrong pool and he told me he know what pool was mine. He does not no my pool because I cover my pool myself. I also just shocked my pool and tested my water for winter and it was good. And in years past same thing every time I call. I would not recommend this company read more
