I can say with confidence that this is a terrific company to choose for good looking, high quality gutter installation. Our house actually looks BETTER after the gutters than it did before--I kid you not. We had over 200 feet of gutters to run and 8 downspouts, 4 of which were two stories high! So I did my research, starting with over 30 companies in the area. I got five quotes. Melville Construction, a small business run by the original owner's son Coty, stood out to me for many reasons and ended up doing an EXCEPTIONALLY good job for us. Our property was challenging and the quotes we received went clear up to and over $4000. Coty and Jackson did the work for a VERY reasonable, fair price, significantly less than half that, and they saved us a few poor choices along the way. His quote reflected the worst case scenarios and accounted for every possible problem (our remodel and new construction has a lot of potential issues, including angled fascia). In the end, his final invoice was LESS than his estimate! I am pleased with how his work made our home more sound against water penetration and problems. His attention to detail was fantastic, his attention to the asthetics was appreciated, and he was very focused on our ultimate satisfaction. I dreaded having gutters installed because I felt they would stick out and be ugly--but Coty and Jackson made sure it looked good. Our house, honest to goodness, has never looked straighter. My husband and I are blown away by their work, integrity, and overall high value. Why would anyone choose another company with higher prices? Just because you know the name? My family had Fred from Landsite Development come out this morning to provide a quote/estimate for…read morethe following projects that we would like to have done on our property:  1) 24 foot long wall that is 18 inches to 24 inches tall.  2) Removal of about 2,500 square feet of decorative river rock  3) Several sections of pavers that need to be repaired on a back patio as well as the filling in of a fire pit and covering of the former fire pit with pavers to match. 4) 40 foot paver pathway on a side yard Fred arrived a few minutes before the scheduled time, which was very much appreciated. After viewing the area of the first project, which would be the build of a wall a foot in from the property line, Fred refused to even provide a bid on that project because when he asked about bringing equipment onto our neighbors property we told him he would not be able to do so because although the neighbor who is the homeowner is okay he is renting a room in his garage to someone who is very difficult and we do not want to cause problems. We have had other construction type companies recently (as of September 2020) come onto our property to do work near the property line and when they've asked to bring equipment onto the neighbors property and we've told them "no" those companies have said "okay" and have just brought the equipment on to our property without issue instead. After not being willing to provide a bid on the first project, we showed him the next, which was the removal of river rock from the front yard. He said he would have to charge an hourly fee for that and because of that he refused to provide us an estimate on that project. On to the next project, which would be the repair of multiple sections of pavers that have caved in on two paver patios we have in the back as well as the filling in of an unused fire pit in the middle of one of the patios and installation of pavers to match. Fred looked at the two patios and said that they don't work on those projects and refused to provide an estimate/bid on that project.  After that, Fred didn't even take a look at the last project we needed done which was the installation of a 40 foot paver walkway. Even though Landsite Development's website states--and pictures of completed projects from other reviewers online serve to bolster--that they take on projects like the repair of paver patios, the building of walls, and the installation of paver walkways, when you try to get an estimate to get those projects done they claim that they do not do said projects.   Because of all of the above, I would not recommend anyone waste their time by contacting Landsite Development who needs paver patios repaired, paver walkways installed, walls built, and rocks removed. Our project would have been a larger project than any of the photos that I've seen online from other reviewers and we are very dismayed that we were refused an estimate.

End of April 2025, I hired Landscape Pros to install a back yard for me. The owner Josh came to my…read morehouse and gave me a bid to level the back yard, bring in top soil, install curbing, hydroseed, gravel and a sprinkler system. He quoted me a price which after getting several bids I thought was fair and reasonable. Once the work was completed Josh informed me he needed to raise my bid $150.00 for "extra" work that was done. What the extra was I am not sure. A few weeks into May I started noticing that the sprinkler system was not covering the full yard. Some areas were flooding while other areas were not getting any water at all. I contacted Josh and asked him to come back and adjust the sprinklers. He sent one of his guys over and after discussion he removed one of the sprinkler heads that was causing flooding. He adjusted the other sprinkler heads, but still the yard was not getting coverage. I asked him to come back a second time when I noticed water bubbling out of the ground. They had poured concrete on top of a sprinkler head. By this time the grass was dead and I had to bring in more top soil and reseed. Several of the sprinkler heads were buried so far into the ground that they could not pop up over the curbing. By this time I was getting pretty frustrated when my sprinkler would not shut off. The valve box was full of water, a third time I asked Josh to come out and fix the leaking valve. Which I am told he did, however the leaking didn't stop. On the fourth request to fix the sprinkler problems I was told I was watering too much, and water was "splashing into the valve box" Really??? I am a women but I am not stupid. Four or five times I requested that Josh come and fix the problems and I always received a text "once my guys are free" it is now the end of August. I ended up hiring someone else to correct all the issues that Josh and Landscape Pros have caused. The people I hired to fix the sprinkler said the manifold and valves that were installed by Landscape Pros were old and possibly used. The manifold was cracked and leaking water, which if it was new (installed in May) it shouldn't be that damaged. Landscape Pros have no attention for detail and the work was very sloppy, in addition if a landscape company is going to take full advantage of a single widow you need to ask yourself if you really want to hire them.
