    Single serve pecan pies.

Amish cooking. Gorgeous setting. Homemade jams and jellies and breads and donuts and SOFT PRETZELS! You have to have cash or check, no credit or debit cards. And my pretzel had stray cinnamon on it which ruined that for me. But the pecan pie was amazing!

It doesn't matter the stuffing get the pretzel bun, you won't regret it! Service was prompt, organized and pleasant. Plenty of outdoor seating if you wanted to stick around and enjoy you purchase. But there is no indoor seating, so plan accordingly for inclimate weather. Not pictured, but the pecan, peach and apple pies were amazing! Tons of variety! Sourdough bread, honey, popcorn, and candy to name a few.

Yum! This tiny Amish bakery is awesome. The inside is small, but popular. You can order sandwiches and food items from the small kitchen or you can pick up donuts, banana bread and other baked goods. The patio tables have umbrellas. The pretzels were delicious. The donuts and pastries are wonderful.

Always good! Great homemade sandwich! Try a pretzel sandwich. Baked goods are great! Great food for a great price. Depending on time of day and weather, expect a line out the door (but it goes quick)

Yum, what a fantastic find! This is a nice large bakery packed with goodies: pies, donuts, soft pretzels, brownies, cookies, jams, pastries, little gift items, and a made to order counter for hot sandwiches and pizzas. There are so many choices! We ended up with a pepperoni pizza, cherry pie, two glazed donuts and a Reese Dreams (2 cookies with a frosting filling and a topping with chocolate drizzle). Everything was very tasty and the donuts were especially good. The Reese Dreams was very decadent! The bakery has a really nice patio set up out front, with a variety of picnic tables and tables and chairs. There's a decent sized gravel parking lot, as well as an overflow parking lot. The staff were friendly. Bring cash!

You would think in this day and age they would at least be able to pay by debit, credit or even crypto.

Again, another good visit to one of our favorite late dinner spots…read more Yes, it's dark, crammed and very loud. Servers are very friendly, as always. The food was great. I got the brat burger with potatoes, pickles and some type of slaw. The slaw is creamy, maybe lean more towards a flavor could make it better, a little sweeter maybe? Wife only got a pretzel, the creamy dip was okay, the mustard is great. However the pretzel could have proofed more. There were strands of uncooked dough inside. Overall still a highly recommended place.

The space is dark and cozy and you'll forget all about the CVS outside by the time you sit down. The menu offers a nice variety of small plates, salads, sandwiches, entrees and pizzas. There are also cocktails, wine and a small but sufficient selection of beers on tap. The prices feel a couple dollars higher than you'd want them to be ($18 for a smash burger or a 12-inch pizza) but are comparable with similar restaurants in the area. My parents and I split the Medjool dates starter, Crunchy Greens salad and a mushroom pizza and all were very good and enough for all of us to enjoy (sorry, forgot to take pics). We drove this way after cross country skiing at Punderson State Park, and I can imagine us going back after our next outing there. Do recommend if you're in the area.

The menu is pretty straightforward, plenty of pizza options, calzones, a single salad and a couple of beverages. Uncle Spikes is half of a small building just East of the center of Aurora, the shop is takeout only, a simple counter, one cooler and the kitchen behind a wall in back. My pizzas were ready and nicely cooked; the presentation is simple the pizza boxes are just plain, no logos or writing which is fine. The pizzas are very good, the crust is excellent, the cheese near perfect, and the cooking was the way I prefer it a bit well done. The only problem I had was that there was almost no sauce on my pizzas; with a good sauce these could be some of the best pizzas in the area. I did enjoy the pizza over the next couple days, especially since I could add some toppings including chopped and sun dried tomatoes; the reheated pizza is excellent. The large pizza with the regular crust is big enough that 1/4 of the pie makes a good meal; the small thin crust is also very good since this makes for an even cheesier taste. Uncle Spike's does a really good pizza, the portion size is generous, the quality is excellent, the only issue for me was the lack of sauce, I don't know if this is their usual approach or if it was just a mistake. I do appreciate the nice and simple approach, no frills, no hype just good take out pizza.
