Just stopped on our way through town at this spot. Thought it was more of a sub/deli sandwich spot but seemed like a pizza place that does subs, which wasn't a bad thing. You order at the counter so not really service to mention, but no complaints. Plenty of seats and most people looked to be locals on lunch which isn't a bad thing in my book. The meatball sub was actually pretty darn good! I added pepperoni to it and trust me on that move, well worth it. Good size and nice crunchy bread too. Mister Sub has always been our go to sandwich shop! Club on wheat all the way! I don't believe we have ever had their pizza.

We were curious what was on the menu but couldn't find one online so we stopped by and took these photos to save others from the same problem. As soon as I opened the door I was surrounded by the delicious scent of Italian subs. Instant mouth watering. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We ordered the super Italian sub and chicken bacon ranch (CBR) sub. The CBR was good, but kind of one-note in texture and flavor. I had asked for pickles but was told that the only pickles they offered were spears. Luckily, I had some Jimmy John's peppers in the fridge, so I added those and voila! so much better, delicious in fact! The real star of the night was the super Italian sub. It was so good that our family who came to visit later in the evening took our suggestion and stopped by to get some as well. We will definitely return for the super Italian sub, and if they decide to start offering dill pickle slices, I would gladly order more subs as well. read more

Other reviews can regale you with their selections, but for me, it's the meatball sub, which reminds me of the grinders I've gotten on the East Coast. The sauce is perfect, and the meatballs are delicious, but the bread steals the show. My wife opts for the Italian Sub and loves it every time. I've also got a good Philly sub here. There is no cheese whiz, but it's close to the recipe. Inside the place is nothing to write home about. One big drawback: You might miss the place because the owner hasn't changed the sign, which says "The Mill pizza" out front. It gives the impression that it's not open, or about the close. Tried so many times to get a hold of the owner but no one ever answered Ordered from Mr Sub from all your locations for many years. Ordered last week and after over an hour I had to call because we never received our sub. Girl answered, said she was manager and told me they did deliver sub but we never answered the door. We told her no one ever came and we could prove it with our camera in yard. She said she'd redeliver sub. That one never came. I called back and was yelled at for giving wrong address. Sorry but I've lived here over 30 years and that's the address on google maps and the one they've delivered to for over 20 years. She also told me I shouldn't order from them again! I have tried to get a hold of owner several times with no response. I have camera proof no one ever came plus google maps that my address is correct. This place doesn't look like much from the outside and has a different restaurants sign in front but oh my gosh what a difference inside! It's very farmhouse cute and clean on the inside with wood panels and tractor seats. The service was excellent and very friendly! And the subs were delicious! My husband and I split a very large (12 inch I think) turkey sub. The bread was very good and toasted. There was sufficient amount of turkey and Swiss cheese. It also had lettuce, tomato, and mayo. It was better than subway in that they put a lot more meat on their sub and I liked the bread. However, it wasn't more than ok; therefore, the three out of five star rating. I plan to go back, give Mister Sub another chance, try something different and update my review. Update: My two teens and I stopped in for lunch. I ordered a large chef salad ($7), my son ordered a meatball sub and my daughter ordered an Italian sub. My salad was made with fresh ingredients. I have attached a picture. It was really good. I would order it again. Both teens really liked their subs. My daughter stated that the Italian sub was 10 out of 10. My son said his meatballs stayed inside the sub and didn't fall out like at subway. Also the bread was toasty and not soggy like at subway. He would order it again. Took over an hour for a small 3 person takeout order but they did all they could to make it right. They had huge delivery order come in and said that is what caused one piece of my order to take over an hour to make while the rest of my order sat on the counter for half an hour. The person in charge was making excuses instead of taking responsibility (told me it was because I ordered the stuffed mushrooms and others didn't) but in the end corrected the issue. If the mushroom take that long you might want to inform the customer or just take them off the menu all together. The cold lunch meat subs still appeared to be cold when I got them home even after sitting on the counter for half hour while waiting on the rest of my order. Hopefully this was just a bad day for them and this will not be your experience. If all this is corrected i would love to eat here again, and would highly recommend. If they can learn how to manage large delivery orders and the indoor restaurant this place will be a huge success. The subs speak for themselves and are absolutely great!! read more

Are last order that was Sunday afternoon June 23rd for my wife and I and I had the ham & cheese 8 in but whoever made mine had to make it out meanest and I ordered extra mayo as usual but this was the most disgusting thing ever it look like the mayo was white water and it and toppings running out the sides like liquid and both top and no sub bun was so drenched it just limped over and fell apart and whoever made it definitely knew this and didn't care if you ever ordered ah and a dying service connected veteran on hospice and simple pleasure like ordering out is a expensive treat for me with my budget.
