I do like Jimmy John's, but this location seemed to me above average. Surface parking by meter is nearby and the walk up was free of debris. There is a patio to enjoy your sandwich alfresco. Counter service was friendly by the young staff. I was with my family, so total of four customers. The process was smooth and the order accurate. I did chat briefly with the manager. The dining room and restroom was clean. Our sandwiches were prepared quickly for dine in. Soda is self serve as it is at all JJ locations. Everyone liked what they had. Mine was a Cesar variety and tasty. The staff had prepared a large catering order, so do keep in mind they offer. Great experience. read more

The Chillicothe Jimmy John's was okay. No need for us to return. Our sandwiches had too much mayonnaise. The hot peppers on my sandwich were all lumped in a pile at one-end of my sandwich. I asked cashier to cut my sandwich, and it was not cut. There was no pride of workmanship. The weeds surrounding the rear entrance and parking lot are overgrown and obstructed entrance. read more

My friend and I visited this location at 8:40pm and they closed at 9pm. Yes, we know that is close to closing time but JJ's is freaky fast so we dined in. The female employee was rude. They made our subs, very low quality and then made sure to let us know closing time was 9pm. At 9pm we were finishing up after rushing to eat and get out and the female employee told me two times that it is "9pm and we are now closed". She was insisting we leave. We left at 9:02pm. Very rude to paying customers. Very disappointed. Service is until customers are finished, not when the clock strikes 9pm. Unbelievable. read more

Listen, I don't do a lot of reviews, I mean, who has time? Amiright? Or people only do a review to be negative. UGH. I try not to order lunch while working, but I was STARVING. My go to? ALWAYS Jimmy John's. Fast (yes, freaky fast), fresh, and delicious. After today, I felt the people huv tae know! Today I was feeling frisky and decided to try the new roast beef wrap. It said it came with min-croutons. I'm all, EWWWW, croutons on a sandwich? But I decided to be bold, and ordered it exactly as it was suggested. It arrived, and I'm still worried about those mini-croutons. It gets here so fast after ordering I feel like they KNEW I was going to order and had it ready to be delivered. What am I thinking now, Jimmy John's? @_@ I go to take the wrap out of the wrapper and it's huge. Now I'm all intrigued. They double wrapped it, and it's cut in half inside (which I loved). I looked and it was overflowing with the ranch sauce. "Aw, man, this is going to be a mess!" I thought. Normally I hate being wrong, but this time I was glad. The wrap had been cut in half and it was all self contained so it wasn't messy at all. BUT NOW ABOUT THOSE MINI-CROUTONS..... they were a delight I tell you. A DELIGHT. Every time I got one in my mouth, it was a cheesy little bust of crispiness. This wrap was the proverbial bee's knees! The cat's pajamas! You know what I'm sayin! SoooOooOOooo good. I still have the Jimmy Chips in BBQ and their AMAZING Kickin' Ranch dipping sauce to go. Life is good, my friends. If you've stayed with me this far, I thank you. Long story, but worth the read.. I promise! Myself and the rest of my 7 brothers and sisters live in IL and MI. Our dear cousin and his family live in Kingston OH. My cousin is entering the final phases of cancer in home hospice care. It is awful to have someone you love and care about so far away and to not be able to do anything for them. Today my siblings and I decided we wanted to do something special to let them know we love them and are thinking of them. Got on the internet blindly looking for a local restaurant to see if we could get some food delivered for them. Having no idea what is around Kingston Ohio. I found a Jimmy John's on 22 West Main in Chillicothe OH. No idea where that is... and how far it is from Kingston.....But I called anyways. When they picked up I asked for the manager and Heather, who had answered, said she was the person I needed to speak to. I asked if they were close to Kingston. She said no , not close at all. Kingston is way off and rural and they are in the city. She estimated it was probably 15+ miles away. Why was I asking? I told her I was in IL and my very sick cousin and his family are in Kingston and we wanted to send food to make sure they had a meal without having to worry about it in this trying time. Heather explained she and her husband are the owners of the franchise. Without hesitation she said that either she or her husband would personally make the delivery for us and make sure our special package got to them safe and sound. She helped me put together a great care package with an assortment of mini sandwiches, chips , sides and special condiments. Took down the address and then took dictation and wrote out the special message I recited so that could be with the assortment when it was delivered. She charged me nothing extra, added special items to the package and charged me no delivery. And she called me after the delivery was made to let me know it made it there safe and sound. There is not enough I can say about this , about Heather and her husband, and how above and beyond they went to make sure they helped me. It is the kind of thing you hope you could find anywhere, but you can not and do not. I am so grateful!! I am not local and can not patronize Heather and her husband's establishment. But I can tell my story so that everyone that is local and can go support this local business and knows about the wonderful thing they did and what wonderful kindhearted people they are!! I love that they offer alfalfa sprouts on the sandwiches! However, I have to stress extra extra sprouts or they are scarce on the sub. The food is always fast & fresh. Love the bread and meats. The phone etiquette was lacking the last couple times I called. It seemed as though I was an annoyance for any alterations made to a sandwich. But yes, freaky fast!
