When I visit Chillicothe and I am hungry, Casa Del Taco is one of the first places I think of. I have never had anything here I do not like. I like Casa Del Taco better than Taco Bell, I like it better than most of the sitdown Mexican restaurants. The food is tasty and their salsas are also very good for a fast food restaurant. Casa Del Taco has this newer location. It's not as nice as the other one. The good thing is it's not as busy. It may be cheap but it's not bad. This is good if you don't expect much. I had the vegetarian burrito combo. It's about $5 or so, it's pretty fair. The burrito comes with olives, which is a nice touch. Combos come with a drink and nachos. They also include cinnamon things that are like nachos but tossed in cinnamon and sugar. If you go to this location you won't have to wait as long. It's not too far away on Route 50 on the west side. The food is the same but the service is better there. read more

Wonderful fast food Mexican that made for an amazing stop in the midst of a long road trip. This is fast food Mexican, so do not compare it to Mexican restaurants where you dine in. That being said, it is delicious. The Casa Pizza (Mexican pizza) was enough for two people and was much larger than Taco Bell's equivalent. The Casadilla had a unique slightly sweet taste and was also fantastic. The basics (sauces, meat, beans, etc.) are all solid. This reminds me of local fast food Mexican restaurants that existed before Taco Bell spread everywhere, and it made me a bit nostalgic even though this was my first time ever eating at this restaurant. read more

The Mexican salad was good! I got the beef one and it was very well portioned and priced. The manager was awesome and let us order when they were closing. Cheap good eats that's about it. I'd recommend over Taco Bell. read more

Mexican Salad is very good but they overload your salad with lettuce and never put enough hamburger or dressing on them!

This is the second time this has happened to me - I ask for 3 ingredients on my nachos and have to to explain what I want several times . NOT complicated at all . Today I went through the drive through and asked for the same 3 ingredients - beef , cheese , and sour cream. I said this so many times I can't even count. I got back home and discovered that my nachos had onions and beans on them. I went back and they fixed them so kudos for that but I also had to explain multiple times AGAIN what I wanted. PLEASE start paying attention to what people ask for in the drive through!!! read more

I'm not a very big fan of this location. The food is usually semi-warm and the portions are smaller compared to the bridge street location.

The staff is very friendly and it was clean. The food was great and the seats and tables were not bolted to the floor. It was very comfortable there unlike the one on bridge st. Where the table and chairs are bolted to the ground. read more

Normally, I would give Casa a 5 star review. Typically, the food is fresh, nice helpings, courteous staff. We prefer to eat local as I also own a local business. Casa is one my all time favorite fast food places. I would choose Casa ten times over Taco Bell. Today was not a great experience. I haven't had Casa for more than a month... Which is not normal. I am dieting. Normally we eat Casa sometimes twice a week or more. It started with bad service on the speaker at the drive thru. We repeated our not difficult order 3 times. It seemed as though she wasn't even listening. We got our food. The only thing right was the tacos and beans. My nachos were horrible... Very little toppings, stale chips and not what I asked for despite repeating the order. When we got to the window everyone was standing around debating on who would stay. Must have been a shift change. Worst time to go. Our jalapeños were left out as well. I didn't even eat half. I called to speak to a manager and the manager said that she made the nachos herself the same way she always does. I order the same thing all the time. This was nothing like our normal order. The manager was too busy speaking over me and making excuses loudly to even acknowledge the mistake. No credit was offered and I ended the call abruptly because I was getting nowhere. We will not return to the Western Ave location. We will however still visit Bridge Street. It always seems to be the nicer of the two. read more
