Roosters has the absolute best fried chicken salad! Look at all of that chicken! I love Roosters wings but with this size of salad, there's no way I can touch wings much less finish the salad. It's always fresh too! read more

Roosters Chillicothe - Chicken Wings Near Me - Chillicothe, Ohio

Great quick snack. Came in early dinner hours started with deep fried mushrooms. They were standard. I was a little under the weather tried the chicken noodle soup and it did not disappoint. Our waitress was amazing when she brought the main course she noticed a flaw before we could even see it. She immediately took it back to the kitchen. She alerted the manager of the issue and she came over to apologize for the inconvenience and make it right. 10 out of 10 for service and I love their chicken wings read more

Great wings, quickly done for our carry out order. Everything was as we ordered it. The ambiance is a little loud and you're either in a booth or a crammed in table. We did take out this time which is quicker than eating in. read more

Didn't care for the boneless wings. They were huge, as if they were injected with steroids. Won't order those again. The two ladies in the front was very friendly and nice. read more

This place is always busy! The food was good service was good. Prices are great! Great energy during Ohio games

Absolutely love Rooster's! Have carryout about once a week and it is always the correct order of delicious food.

Such shit service, they don't give you sauce AT ALL!!! They charge extra for it, and don't give it to you! Even when you dine in you have to ask them again for it. Their chicken is also pretty bland when they (forget) to put any seasoning on it. I love Roosters, but their service and overall performance on getting your order right is fucking horrible. read more

Server unique was fantastic, she was prompt and friendly. Our nachos were good as always and the wings hit the spot.

Great food and friendly atmosphere with great servers. Best wings in the state. TV can be viewed from almost anywhere. Bar selection is very good. read more

Yuck. Nothing was good. Our cauliflower wings were clearly bagged, frozen, breaded cauliflower that was tossed in the fryer and buffalo sauce. Nothing fresh or original. Chips and salsa were like store brand Tostitos and Pace salsa served in a plastic cup. We had fry wedges that were okay. Service was pretty good and the bar tender was nice. We will t be back. read more

First let me say, Korrine was the bomb give that lady a raise! A rare no rush lunch while my car was in a nearby shop. I walked to Roosters to soothe my soul with something sinfully yummy. Korrine was my waitress. Cheerful, informative and was in no way rushing me out the door. She answered my questions about the menu, and made recommendations. She KNEW the menu, and could quickly give candid answers. This is sssooooo important! I ordered a half fried chicken salad (half healthy, right?) and a Mac and cheese, just because I needed that hug of warm melty cheese and soul warming baked pasta. Both came quickly, and did not disappoint. Look, there are many restaurants in the area, but this one has never disappointed me. It's clean, fast, has easy parking, and friendly staff. Would highly recommend if you are a local or just passing through! read more

We only had a few things. Cheese sticks which were battered, as opposed to breaded, and were very good. Fried pickles which were rounds and very thick. They were tasty but I prefer thinner ones. The chicken tenders were awesome! Nicely marinated and grilled. Id definitely recommend this spot for a meal. read more

Great food, clean atmosphere, friendly staff, relaxing, fast service. Stop as much as possible.

Roosters has got the best chicken in town. Every time I go there I always get the 4 piece fried chicken. It always comes out exceptional Better chicken then KFC or Raising canes. Canes is good but in my opinion Roosters is hands down. DELICIOUS read more

God god, who is in charge of the music? Know your customers. I feel bad for the bartender. Everyone complaining about the music and she could not do a thing about it. Whoever is in charge of music selection should be severely reprimanded. A bar full of locals DO NOT want to listen to hip hop all night. Had to leave early, couldn't stand it any longer. read more

Fast service , food was good and hot. We when here because it was convenient, but glad we did.

I had the traditional wings Hot. Wings were not hot. When I have Hot-hot wings I expect them to be at least a little spicy. They weren't. I expected this so I ordered a side order of their Nuclear Sauce, which I expect to be face melting. It wasn't. The Nuclear Sauce had a little spice to it but it didn't even make my nose run. The unhot "hot wings" were really oily and they tasted just like oil. Next time I go I will get the wings unbreaded so they won't be as oily when they come out. The service was really good. The waitress went above and beyond for us. 5 stars for her. read more

Called for To Go, quickly answered and was able to place my order: Skins & Wings. Honey BBQ and Nashville Hot wings were Huge & delicious! Nashville Hot were perfectly crispy, not too spicy! The Skins were really good also. They included large containers full of Ranch and Sour Cream. We really were impressed with the size of the wings; we ordered 20 but only ate 13! Dinner another day! read more

I'm usually am never disappoint with roosters, but tonight I am very disappointed I understand that they were busy but I was told that my food would be done in 30 minutes which is why I don't feel my chicken should've been raw. Do not order from roosters unless you want raw food just don't go to any restaurant when it's crowded your food will never be how you want it. read more

On a weekend getaway my boyfriend wanted Buffalo Wild Wings (gross). I told him I didn't come 4 hours from home to eat Bdubs. So I told him we could try Rooster's because it's essentially the same thing, right? Except Rooster's was better. The menu said that they use fresh chicken & hand batter them every day and I definitely think you can tell. We shared a 20 pc boneless with honey bbq and my first fear was that they would be tough but they were actually really tender. The sauce was good and the wings were way bigger than I expected them to be. We also shared an app of mozz sticks, I didn't really care for the tomato sauce that came with them as it was thick and kind of pasty but they were still good. We didn't have a long wait time at all and I notice that's what others complain often about. We maybe waited 15 minutes for our food but I'd say it was less. Our servers were attentive and we never went without a refill. The atmosphere overall is like any other sports bar except the inside wasn't as dark and crowded feeling. My biggest complaint was my restroom wait. I waited in a line for 10 minutes to use the restroom. There were 2 stalls in the entire establishment which is a pretty big restaurant that serves alcohol. You'd think they would have a little bit bigger of a restroom. read more

They have a big menu with lots of good stuff to eat it's a great place to go and watch some football and hang out with friends or family

I stayed at the Quality Inn while I was getting my Kenworth worked on in town. I enjoyed the location. The staff was very friendly. The cheeseburger was better than expected. I prefer fresh ground and handmade burgers. But it was still great. Sauces were also good on the chicken I ate. I was able to eat different options for the 4 days I was at the hotel. I would recommend. read more

Watch out for the slippery floor. Asked the manager what's up and she acknowledged it was slippery but said it was the cleaner they were using. I say why not change the cleaner before someone falls! read more

Huge portions at a reasonable price, and pretty dang good too. Would definitely recommend.

The food is good and the people are nice but if your ordering to go they are worthless. You can never get through on the phone and if I try to order online because of my number it wants me to order from 161 and Cleveland ave. I guess I will go somewhere else read more

I was trying to enjoy an evening watching a ball game and enjoying a beer when I was suddenly asked to leave. Apparently one of the servers did not like me being in the establishment, due to her personal opinion of me and although I did not see or speak to this server, Amanda Geer apparently could not do her job with me in the building minding my own buisness, very unprofessional in my opinion. I must also apologize to Roosters because had I known how weak and truly unprofessional this server would be I would have never asked you to give her, a job read more

I have never waited less than an hour for food here! I'm not sure if I just have bad luck but at one time I waited nearly TWO HOURS and the server was really sweet but kept saying that our food was nearly ready but it never came. Then she didn't even offer a discount or anything when she brought the bill (but the manager did, fortunately). It's not the best Rooster's. Go to Waverly. read more

Typical wing joint with lots of fried foods and televisions. Not outstanding, but nothing bad to say.

Dear lord. It's a Sunday afternoon at 230pm. The Browns and Steelers are both playing and you are playing depressing country music. I came here to eat and watch the game in an exciting environment but I want to slit my wrist with ole sitting at the bar! Food is great but music and staff make it depressing af, feels like I am at a dive bar and I want to DIVE into a pool of acid! read more

Ain't nothing better when it comes to wings in Chillicothe. The food they offer besides that is very tasteful and delicious. The sauce flavors are a must to try every one. Service has been good and bad but overall I would put it as good. The bar is typical sports bar. Might need to increase the alcohol on the mixed drinks a little. read more

Sunday morning had early lunch ordered the loaded fries Rooster Noodle soup for me and a 1/2 grilled chicken salad for the wife. 1st iteration of the fries was so cold that the melted cheese was coagulating (sent it back) 2nd time, Hot cheese but cool fries Why bother now Right. Soup was Luke. warm and tasteless. and the wife's salad was unimpressive (that's being kind) read more

Anyone who rated this less than 4 stars is likely spoiled. This place is cheap as dirt and the food is excellent. I was legitimately caught off guard when I finally got my food. Came to Ohio to visit SO family, I expected some rinky dink chain. Instead I was met with dinosaur sized chicken wings cooked to perfection in delicious garlic sauce and pleasant wait staff. Ordered, food came out timely, extremely cheap, and moreover absolutely delicious. Again this place is cheap, Tip your servers good or else spiders will crawl in your mouth when you sleep. read more

Hostess Victoria was rude when I called in to check on how much longer the wait would be. Server Lindsey was amazing and the manager was very sincere about the rude hostess and dirty restrooms. Food was great though. read more

I love this place. BUT they finally started taking Covid seriously. Nothing to see the bar tenders and cooks without masks. But lately much better. The male managers walk around like bouncers at a strip club. They NEVER interact with the customers and just BS with the servers. Alison and Johanna are great bar tenders and dramaless. The reason things are slow are not just because of Covid but how its being managed Is it possible to fix the heat/cold around the bar area. Been broke way to long! read more

Disgusting. How can people eat this crap? Went in and walked around to look at food on tables. Place was busy so I had a good selection of dishes to see. Everything looks fairly greasy with an emphasis on frying and sauces. I decided to just get an order of cheese sticks. How can you mess that up? It turns out, you can! I've had better cheese sticks out of a box in the freezer. These were bland and tasted of the grease they were fried in and nothing else. There was no flavor of cheese! What kind of cheese tastes like nothing? How badly do you have to treat your food to get it to give up every single bit of its flavor? At least there was some tomato sauce on the side to smother it in. read more

I was traveling through and decided to stay in Chillicothe for the night. I thought I would find a place to eat and watch the game. I settled in at the bar at this very busy, fast moving restaurant. I ordered the grilled chicken and grilled mushrooms. The kitchen was very busy and the food took slightly longer than expected but I mentioned to the bartender that I was not in a hurry. The beer was cold and the food was good but what really stood out was the bartender. Her name was Kat and she really had a great personality and really seemed to be having fun. Her attitude and hustle turned a decent experience into one that I decided to take the time to write a review. I will stop in again if I ever find myself in Chillicothe again. read more
