My wife and I were driving from NC to Indiana and decided we wanted to do a nice sit down meal on our way. We came across Red Lobster and since neither one of us has eaten there in years, we decided to give it a try. We were disappointed in this selection overall. The positives: Staff - was friendly and helpful. Our waitress checked on us regularly. Cheddar Bay Biscuits - these were perfectly made. I see why everyone makes a big deal out of them. Ours were the perfect balance of doughy and moist... almost melting in your mouth. Roasted Brussel Sprouts - these exceeded expectations. They had a honey glaze which was delicious. Some of the best I've had. Lobster Baked Potato - potato was perfectly cooked, soft and tender and the lobster and butter was the chef's kiss The negatives: Price - for what we paid ($125 plus tip) we could have gone to a nicer restaurant and had a better experience. Yes I understand it's seafood, but I can pay the same price at a nicer restaurant ant and it will be more flavorful and a better experience. The scallops - I had them in 2 different forms and on both they were "meh". Bland and underwhelming. Cleanliness - overall the place was a bit rundown. In the men's bathroom there was paper towels all over the floor and the toilet was wrapped in a towel so it didn't drip. Overall I'm not sure I would return as for the price I did not see the value at this location. read more

Let's start with how long i was at a this Red Lobster over 1hour and 30 minutes. My complaints food took to long to get over 40 minutes we had order Steamed Crab and all you can eat Shrimp. We had the manger come over to let her know that our food was taking to long and she asked us what we had ordered , we told her and all she said that seems fishy and she left, about 3 minutes later our food came to the table. Let's start with the Steamed crab you can tell the it was over cooked because the small parts of the legs was tough, now the Shrimp was hot but the Coconut Shrimp was over cook. What I'm upset about the most is that NOT ONE PERSON APOLOGIZED TO US FOR THE SLOW SERVICE OR HOW LONG IT TOOK TO GET OUR FOOD. THE MANGER DIDN'T COME BACK TO CHECK ON US OR TO MAKE SURE THAT WE GOT OUR FOOD. We had paid $100. For dinner and NO ONE APOLOGIZED. read more

We stopped in here for a quick dinner while we were passing on our road trip. We had a great dinner and the service was wonderful. The steak with mash and potatoes was perfectly cooked. I enjoyed the lobster pasta and of course the cheesy biscuits were amazing. The side salad was quite large and filling. read more

This is the worst Red Lobster experience to me. It does not come cheap, and so what a waste of money!! The girl who served our take out order was great, but the food was no good. We accidentally was given three orders of broccoli instead of two with one order of mashed potatoes so I went back inside to tell them. It took almost 10 minutes for them to bring me the mashed potatoes . I didn't even have the heart to tell them that the broccoli was not cooked. It was literally raw and you couldn't even chew it. The picture shows that so-called mashed potatoes they gave me was nothing like the mashed potatoes that they sell. I get back out to the car and this is what they gave me which appeared to be crumbled up pieces of baked potato plain.?? no butter, no salt just nasty crumbly pieces of potato! And like I said that broccoli was so raw you couldn't bite into it. What a total disappointment. I did call and spoke with the manager who sounded like a kid who offered to give me something if I would come back. I told him in a very kind way no thank you I did not trust him or that place no more. There is no excuse for this. Order mistakes happen, but this is an insult to what Red Lobster is or should I say WAS. They have lost my business . We need some real workers in this world. Had grilled shrimp x2, dragon shrimp, steamed broccoli (salad is now an up charge of $2.49 ) husband had fish and chips $18.99 ( a bit pricy I think for portion size and it resembled Gorton. Dylan is tall, slim with a warm smile. He was absolutely amazing. He was extremely accommodating. He is a great example of exceptional service. Tito the manager was well dressed and truly impressed us by coming out to greet us and ask how was everything. He was willing to go above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied and we were. Although Dylan and Tito was the MVP''s that we had the pleasure of meeting tonight I have to say that the host and other servers were nice as well. The chef really did "they" thing. He or she is an 5star chef. The entire crew worked together as an 5star all star team to achieve customer satisfaction from every customer in the restaurant and they did just that especially Dylan,Tito, and Kevin came thru too making sure we had everything we need to enjoy our night. My daughter along with her husband and his family met here for lunch. A nice get together enhanced by the great service we received. The food was very good, everyone expressed delight in what they ordered. Even though it was extremely busy, you would not know it by the efficiency and friendliness of our server. Got some breaded mushrooms at the inn with several beers and some wine. Of course this is not enough food to keep you going while drinking for hours. We started with Seaside Sampler. Which was Lobster-Crab-and-Seafood-Stuffed Mushrooms, Parrot Isle Jumbo Coconut Shrimp and Chilled Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail. I got the Bar Harbor Lobster Bake. A roasted split Maine lobster tail, tender shrimp, sea scallops, mussels and linguini in a garlic and white wine broth. I got a Yuengling or a Stella, I can't remember, they got Miller Lites. The server was nice but way too involved with the guys at the table behind us. She forgot the beers and had to be reminded so Steve ordered two so he wouldn't run out. My man had to stay at the gig. So I got him the Crab and Roasted-Garlic Seafood Bake, to go. Which was steamed snow crab legs paired with tender shrimp and bay scallops roasted in a garlic and white wine broth. Served with sweet corn on the cob and red potatoes. Everything was awesome, my man was in heaven. This was my fish and chips meal exactly as delivered to my table. Maybe 20 fries and a single small piece of fish. My wife and I have been eating at Red Lobster for 30 years, but we won't be back to this one. If I'm going to spend a fair amount on a meal, I expect a healthy, or at least reasonable, portion. Really, does this look like a meal? We could have gone to Captain Ds or Long John Silvers and at least had a decent portion. We also had lobster/artichoke dip as an appetizer, which came with about 20 tortilla chips. I should've taken a picture of that, too. My seasonal Sam Adams beer was very good and my wife's shrimp meal was good, she said. I didn't bother with the fish. Too irritated. Also, the floor was noticeably dirty. No wait on a Friday evening during lent! Easy access to the location with ample parking in the lot right off Bridge Street. Our waitress was friendly and our food came out fast. When we were seated I noticed a mildew smell. But my daughter did not notice it. The biscuits were okay. Not as buttery as I remember. It's been over 10 years since I've eaten at a Red Lobster. I ordered the lunch shrimp tacos. It was really good. The sauce it spicy. The rice on the side was good too. My daughter ordered Maple Glazed Chicken with mash potatoes and broccoli. Hadn't been to a Red Lobster in YEARS, but a craving for seafood brought us to this location. Pleasantly surprised-- everything was really good, reasonably priced and the service was excellent! I had wood fired shrimp skewers with rice medley. My husband had salmon, which though obviously frozen rather than fresh was still well prepared and tasty. French fries were crispy and clearly not fried in the same fryer used for fish. Salad was really fresh and included mixed greens, grated cheese, cherry tomatoes. And the famous Red Lobster biscuits are famous for good reason. Awesome! Okay, this is not a Michelin 3 Star dining venue, but it was definitely worth the trip. We will absolutely be back, and adding Red Lobster to our restaurant list. read more

Took my parents out to eat here during a visit. I was surprised at how nice the atmosphere was, I guess I hadn't been to a red lobster in about 15 years. Modern and simple but still "sea worthy" looking. The carpets and walls were clean and so were the bathrooms. No dirty tables anywhere. Nikki our server was knowledgeable, friendly and confident. there were no issues with any service or questions from my sometimes high maintenance parents. The food came out after about 12 minutes, an appropriate time for entrees. Coffee was hot and refilled and so were the waters. The table was also prebussed appropriately! One of my pet peeves is when servers or bussers don't keep an eye on their tables. All in all a good experience and I would return again. read more

I give this restaurant a 3-star because the service was great but the food was not. I wouldn't serve scallops with the muscles still attached. I tried to point this out to the server to tell the kitchen manager to let them know the prep Cooks need to clean the scallops. She told me she would relay the message. Then I was told that the general manager said that is the way they served their scallops and that he enjoys the chewy muscle. I think the response I got is full of crap. My family and I went to Red Lobster this afternoon and it never disappoints. Red Lobster is always on the food list, no matter where I am. The cheddar biscuits are the best. I had a dish called Salmon New Orleans and it was delicious. Salmon and shrimp in Cajun sauce! Yum yum!! I highly recommend this dish, but, everything is good. Shannon and the sever who brought our food were both excellent. Shannon had a great attitude & was very accommodating. We were seated right next to the kitchen & a server station. It was pretty loud & whoever was running the line kept yelling. Seems like there should be a door or something to break up the noise. I also think it would be helpful to have some type of barrier between the server station & tables. Not an ideal set up. The food was okay- my mashed potatoes did not seem fresh & weren't hot, shrimp lacked flavor, and food presentation could've been much better. The service was wonderful. read more

Came here for a weekday anniversary dinner. Pretty unimpressed. Started with two waters and a hurricane. We got hurricane and one water. Order a shrimp cocktail, this was by far the best part of the meal. Next we went on to two Caesar salads, the lettuce was brown and wilty and dressing was placed on top not mixed (personal preference, I like it mixed). Then we went on to soups. my wife's cheddar potato soup was like warm at best, I ordered the lobster bisque and couldn't tell if they dropped the sugar or salt in to the soup but whatever it was it made my mouth pucker. Next was time for main meal, I ordered glazed salmon, glaze was more of a thick sauce. Salmon was cooked well but sauce was too much. Also thought it was supposed to come with rice but not on mine. Wife ordered chicken linguine, this was pretty good. Good flavor, just enough blackening sauce. Then to recap our service she was pleasant when present but rarely present. Drinks went empty more than once, we had to ask for a box twice. Restaurant was not busy but she was not being attentive to the three tables that she had. Garlic lovers, rejoice! I doubt you'll find an entree that's main seasoning isn't garlic when you dine at Red Lobster. My palate says that it is NOT fresh garlic used in the preparation of entrees. It's powdered garlic and it rapidly becomes oppressive. After you've tasted one entree, you've tasted them all. I have always enjoyed the signature Cheddar biscuits but, make no mistake, the garlic powder is there for your first taste of everything else you're likely to order. It'd been years since the last time we were in "a Lobster" and I was looking forward to the lobster bisque. If the "cup of" that I ordered actually WAS a cupful, they've got liquid measurement down to the 1/4 teaspoon full. Too boot, it was lukewarm while it should have come piping hot. Our visit was on Red Lobster's $15 shrimp day, with the menu offering 3 varieties of shrimp dishes for the price. My order came with 2 not 3. I received 1 breaded shrimp and 2 garlic shrimp - not 3 different preparations as the menu advertised. The good news? The breaded shrimp is excellent. read more

We just left there. It was Sunday afternoon we went there is a party of 12 to celebrate a birthday party. We got seated in three separate days and could not sit together. There were tables open that would accommodate us. We ordered our food separately at separate tables and they put our feet in all together and it took as a party of 12 a long time to get food. Will not be returning to this location. The food was good but when it came time to pay, I paid for my food with my card and left a cash tip and none on the card. Much to my surprise when I checked my bank account a few days later my server had charged a $30 tip to my account. (My bill was only $32 to begin with) Absolutely disappointed about this.
