Ya know, chain places often times get a bad rap for being the same old thing. But, IHOP hits the spot on some of their items! For instance, their crispy chicken salad with avocado is fantastic! I'm a huge salad fan and I put a lot of effort into my own salads. This one from IHOP is great! My girlfriend had the strawberry pancakes with her spinach omelette and she loved it! Everything was great but bring a winter coat because it's freezing in this place. Even the waitress was freezing!! Fix the HVAC!

Initial impressions: it's clean, the wait staff was friendly. We were seated right away. They came for your drinks order right away. They are kid friendly. They have these flowers and butterflies hanging from the ceiling, and my 11-year-old says it makes it feel like this is a nice place. It has happy and sweet music playing. My 11 year old is telling me that the lyrics are also kid friendly. It did not take long for the food to get here. They got it right, they even knew which kids were getting what. Usually having four kids it's easy to get one or two items confused, but they did a pretty good job. The food is hot and smells delicious. My oldest says: The food is very good. I ordered the lemony crêpes. They were very tasty, but I'm a girl who likes lemon flavor. They were filling enough, but if you're looking for something to really fill you up for a long hike, do you want to get some stuff to go along with it. My 2nd oldest says: it's soooo good. I got the breakfast crêpe and the watermelon lemonade thing. I liked the fruit in the drink, it added special refreshing flavor. My second youngest says: I liked the cupcake pancakes, and the sausage. The hot chocolate was hot, it needed an ice cube, and I liked it too. I should've put more syrup on it to start with though. And my youngest says: I very love it so much yummy. She got the :-) pancake. My sweetie says: I didn't order one of their special dishes I just ordered a 2×2×2 special, because I wasn't too hungry. It was good and it was just the right amount for me. Personally I had steak tips and egg, with a little Tabasco. It was exactly what I wanted and I was delighted. I really enjoyed the caramelized onions and mushrooms in with the steak tips. It was a solid breakfast. The next time we're in the area I hope we get a chance to stop by here. A truly awful place to dine (or attempt to dine, in my case). My husband and I tried to bring our daughter for her birthday. Three workers just stared at us in the seating area for about 5 minutes. Eventually someone sat us and it was another 15 minute wait just for the waitress to tell us she was working on a to go order and would be back to get our drink order. Ten minutes pass and she asks what we want to drink? Hopefully not any of the main soda choices because they were out of them. We settle on tea and thinking things were moving along, we waited another 15 minutes because we were thirsty! At one point my husband went to the restroom and I said if she wasn't back by the time he came out we'd finally leave! I didn't need to wait that long to make that choice. The restaurant wasn't very busy. We were waited on very quickly, but it took entirely too long for the food to arrive. Everyone's food was fine but mine. It was not only badly burnt, but they tried to hide it. The hashbrown potatoes were pretty face up, but burnt about halfway through from the bottom and hard. The sausage was the same, the black sides turned down. The waitress saw the potatoes and offered to bring me another order of them, which arrived at the table long after the rest of my meal was completed. Worst experience ever! It started with potholes in the driveway. They were so large if my car didn't have a car top carrier we never would have been seen. We waited 5-10 minutes at the door before a hostess even asked how many were in our party. We waited 20 minutes for a drink refill and over an hour for our food. And it was not crowded at all.
