Ya know, chain places often times get a bad rap for being the same old thing. But, IHOP hits the spot on some of their items! For instance, their crispy chicken salad with avocado is fantastic! I'm a huge salad fan and I put a lot of effort into my own salads. This one from IHOP is great! My girlfriend had the strawberry pancakes with her spinach omelette and she loved it! The service here today was great. The coffee was fresh and unlike some other chains, real coffee creamer was an option. Head to some other chains and you get half-and-half...nasty! read more

Everything was great but bring a winter coat because it's freezing in this place. Even the waitress was freezing!! Fix the HVAC!

Initial impressions: it's clean, the wait staff was friendly. We were seated right away. They came for your drinks order right away. They are kid friendly. They have these flowers and butterflies hanging from the ceiling, and my 11-year-old says it makes it feel like this is a nice place. It has happy and sweet music playing. My 11 year old is telling me that the lyrics are also kid friendly. It did not take long for the food to get here. They got it right, they even knew which kids were getting what. Usually having four kids it's easy to get one or two items confused, but they did a pretty good job. The food is hot and smells delicious. My oldest says: The food is very good. I ordered the lemony crêpes. They were very tasty, but I'm a girl who likes lemon flavor. They were filling enough, but if you're looking for something to really fill you up for a long hike, do you want to get some stuff to go along with it. My 2nd oldest says: it's soooo good. I got the breakfast crêpe and the watermelon lemonade thing. I liked the fruit in the drink, it added special refreshing flavor. My second youngest says: I liked the cupcake pancakes, and the sausage. The hot chocolate was hot, it needed an ice cube, and I liked it too. I should've put more syrup on it to start with though. And my youngest says: I very love it so much yummy. She got the :-) pancake. My sweetie says: I didn't order one of their special dishes I just ordered a 2×2×2 special, because I wasn't too hungry. It was good and it was just the right amount for me. Personally I had steak tips and egg, with a little Tabasco. It was exactly what I wanted and I was delighted. I really enjoyed the caramelized onions and mushrooms in with the steak tips. It was a solid breakfast. The next time we're in the area I hope we get a chance to stop by here. This is a nice little spot. read more

Food was so good and very good management I loved the food always on time and very fast

Me and my family came last Wednesday night in a party of 11. We have all visited quite a few ihops and this one was not a disappointment! Server was quick and very friendly, the food was amazing! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED visiting if you are passing through Chillicothe! read more

Best food and service by far everyone has all ways been respectful and nice every time I've been there

Food was lovely came out perfectly, service was great, our waitress was very attentive and she did an amazing job! My only complaint is for the building owner and not the staff. You need to get in here and fix this ceiling, this is a restaurant not a dive bar! You can't just have 30 water spots on the ceiling and a light half hanging on for dear life with a black mold spot the size of the ceiling tile itself underneath it! read more

What can you say about IHOP. It's the typical fast breakfast joint. I had the Ham and Egg melt which is always decent. The waitress was a little ditsey but comical. IHOP is usually the goto breakfast spot. read more

Ok by the way this is on Christmas where it's busy but usually it's fast. Today we went here we had a new waitress she didn't know anything but she tried her hardest to make sure we had every thing but we did wait 2 hours for our food When you come here make sure you call and check wait for your convenience read more

CAN YOU SAY BLOW CHUNKS I ordered the steak and eggs. The steak was under cooked. I would have sent it back but I didn't want anyone to spit on it. Even though I salted my food it was very bland. The only positive thing is that the waiter was good. One other thing was I never got to see a one legged waitress. Lol That's funny right there read more

Honestly, read all the one star reviews and they're all pretty spot on about the slow staff. We came in at night they only have a single server which must be stressful for her but with very little people being here you would think food would be out faster but this is chilly so I wouldn't expect anything big coming here if u don't really care to set an wait then sure come an eat or go to stake an sake an get about the same stuff faster. (HOPE YOU HAVE TIME TO WAIT) also after leaving after just getting a drink because we didn't want to wait the (night shift) staff stared at us throw the restaurant window with a rude face probably the fact that she wanted to put her own tip amount an just wanted us to sign it like we didn't know how it worked but went to Wendy's right after an got an extra burger for free with maybe a 2 minute wait goooo IHOP read more

I walk in today to get some good food but while I was waiting to be sitting I saw an employee stick there finger in the food and licked it off her finger I would not come back at the I hop read more

my husband and I stopped in tonight for our anniversary and only two tables taken, we was seated brought drinks and waited atleast 20 minutes to order and 45 minutes to get the food, he ordered an omelet a biscuit and gravy I had the eggs bacon and hash brown with a mixed berry crepe. His was cold with a spoon of cold gravy I received a burnt tortilla with a cut strawberry on top not to mention no ticket was wrote as if they are pocketing money for rotten food totally ruined our night out!!! Chillicothe IHOP eill never get my money again ! read more

A truly awful place to dine (or attempt to dine, in my case). My husband and I tried to bring our daughter for her birthday. Three workers just stared at us in the seating area for about 5 minutes. Eventually someone sat us and it was another 15 minute wait just for the waitress to tell us she was working on a to go order and would be back to get our drink order. Ten minutes pass and she asks what we want to drink? Hopefully not any of the main soda choices because they were out of them. We settle on tea and thinking things were moving along, we waited another 15 minutes because we were thirsty! At one point my husband went to the restroom and I said if she wasn't back by the time he came out we'd finally leave! I didn't need to wait that long to make that choice. The moment she walked up to the to go order couple and told them that they couldn't actually make their order as they were out of crepe mix, I just laughed and gathered our stuff. These people were waiting for this order when we came in. It seriously took that long to figure out they couldn't make it? Why was she gone the entire time we were there "working on a to go order" when nothing was even being made? There were only 3 table sat while we were there. Ours, the couple waiting for their to go order, and another table eating their food. I am shocked this place is able to stay open when it's a struggle to just take a drink order in the span of 45 minutes. read more

Wear your winter gear. They keep the temperature set at 60 degrees. Customer comfort is not a priority.

Came in today Veterans Day 11 people waiting to be seated 4 people left said they waited 30 minutes With no updates or offer of coffee We were not even greeted. Worst ihop ever !!! You get what you pay for we don't have a Waffle House so this is Chillicothe version I guess, GREASY!

Good authentic Mexican food, also it reminds me of the days when I lived in Germany and I had sushi I got sick from that sushi but that's besides the point. In all good beef stew. read more

IHOP is always very slow and last time we came in our waitress was hollaring and running in circles because she had 4 tables. but we decided tonight we would come in and give it another try. It started out with getting a waiter that seemed very aggravated but once our group seen at the unprofessional manner his manager was treating him I would be angry as well. He was cussing at him and being VERY unprofessional. The young man remained professional and still sucked it up and finished up his tables and served all his food! Our ticket said Harris s? Hopefully he sees this and hopefully can get a job where he's better respected! read more

The restaurant wasn't very busy. We were waited on very quickly, but it took entirely too long for the food to arrive. Everyone's food was fine but mine. It was not only badly burnt, but they tried to hide it. The hashbrown potatoes were pretty face up, but burnt about halfway through from the bottom and hard. The sausage was the same, the black sides turned down. The waitress saw the potatoes and offered to bring me another order of them, which arrived at the table long after the rest of my meal was completed. In fact, she brought them and the check at the same time and asked if we were ready to pay. Like I said, everyone else had a good experience. As for myself, I will probably never return. read more

Worst nightmare ever. Took forever even though the place was about empty. When our food finally showed up the Toast was stone cold and not really Toasted. The pancakes were like 4 Inches across and the bacon so thin you can see through it. We said ok then we both took a bite. To food stone cold ...eggs cold pancakes were so cold that they wouldn't melt butter. We up and walked out . We went Across the street to Bob Evans. It was a 20. read more

I've been to this ihop quite a few times. The food has been okay, not the most impressive thing I've eaten, but not the worst. The last time I was in there however, my friend and I had to use the bathroom and while I was waiting for my friend, an employee walked out of one of the stalls and just left without washing her hands. I haven't been back since. read more

So we started off our visit by waiting a couple minutes before putting our name in. No big deal. It took about another 5 or so min to be taken to our table. The table we were taken to was not properly cleaned and the hostess had to clean it off before giving us our menus. We looked through the menu and WAITED to be addressed by a server. This went on for 10 minutes of WAITING FOR NO SERVICE. We promptly left our table after waiting for 10 MINUTES AND NO SERVICE. Upon going by the hostess stand, she noticed we were leaving and asked if we had been waited on, to which I responded with a 'NO' and no attempt to rectify the situation other than 'Sorry.' read more

Terry S was a great server today! Probably one of these best servers we have ever had at any restaurant. He was prompt & polite. We will request him again when we go back. read more

I don't know what has happened to this place but the food used to taste good. My breakfast was a huge disappointment. The egg white omelet was flatter than a sheet of paper. Looked nothing like the picture and my harvest grain double blueberry pancakes couldn't have been any more dryer. What a huge disappointment this morning. read more

Took my son there tonight for a night out just he and I. We hadn't been able to do anything like this in 3 years. I was so disappointed in how this Ihop had become. Floors were filthy, service was a joke and my onions and mushrooms on sirloin tips were burt and meat was over cooked, ask for over easy eggs and got well done eggs. At least glad my son's food was OK... Except for his strawberries were still part frozen. read more

(Theres not a zero stars option or I would have selected that.)We came tonight to celebrate my son's first successful homeschooling day. We were taken back to our table quickly, and given menus and coloring pages with crayons for the kids. We waited 10 minutes, no one came to ask us what we wanted to drink. So we didnt pay mind, we figured whoever it was was busy with something. 20 min later, still no one. We almost said something, but then the people that came in after us were already approached and being served drinks 5 min. Prior.. We walked out and no one said a word or acknowledged us leaving. What a joke. They all walked right past us as we waited to have our order taken. We wont be returning read more

Worst experience ever! It started with potholes in the driveway. They were so large if my car didn't have a car top carrier we never would have been seen. We waited 5-10 minutes at the door before a hostess even asked how many were in our party. We waited 20 minutes for a drink refill and over an hour for our food. And it was not crowded at all. The only reason they got one star is because the food was good. Or maybe we were just famished from having to wait over an hour. Mind you we had been on the road since 8am and it was already 7:30pm. We still had a five hour drive home yet. This made a long trip even longer. Will never return here again. read more

Messed up my order. Made me wait 30 minutes after my pickup time. Didn't give me no utensils. Staff was rude.

45 minute wait for mediocre food when there was only two other tables occupied -- and another 15 minute wait to pay and get change back.

Service is phenomenally slow. It took us 30 minutes to be served. The worst was the server is racist as she served those who came after us who are whites first. Never will I come back to this restaurant again. read more

Other than the excessive wait and cold food at least they were consistant with overcooking anything and everything made with a deep fryer.

I went into ihop today the food was great and the workers were very kind the food came out in a timely fashion.
