Was really in the mood for some Mexican while in the area. We were seated quickly and given chips and salsa but not given menus. After 10 minutes I walked up and got us our own menus. Then no one ever came to the table to get our order. 30 Minutes later we got up again to ask at the front to put in our order. 10 minutes later still no one had come to take our order and we left. The place also was not that busy, as less than half the tables were full with 5+ servers walking/standing around. Meanwhile other people around us are sitting waiting for checks or boxes. While others were being served more rapidly? Very odd and a very poor experience overall. Additionally, while the interior was bright and cheery colored it was also so dirty- the table we were sat at was sticky, the menus had salsa all over them... yuck! read more

We were a party of 12 and went in on a Sunday. It was very colorful inside and the music was just right ( you could hear it and enjoy it but you could talk over it).The waiter did a great job getting our orders and the food came out at a decent time Everyone enjoyed their meals. Never disappointed. Always friendly, portion size is heavy, and taste is full on flavorful. If you don't like loud environments every now and then, maybe don't stop in on a busy day - which may be hard to do since they are always fairly busy. read more

Went in tonight For dinner with another family. We had three children in our party. Halfway through our dinner several employees and patrons were at the bar drinking and being very loud. At one point one of the employees ask them to quiet down as they were dropping fbombs every other word. The group at the bar continued to be rowdy and continued to drop fbombs. At this point before we were finished with dinner we decided to leave. When checking out we explained our displeasure with the bar patrons and employees handling of them. She laughed and blew it off. Get control of your restaurant. This was previously a go to stop. Not any more, Jacob never would have put up with this behavior from staff or patrons. read more

So we come here quite a bit. Tonight was not the best experience we have had. The food was not on par. My burrito had water under the entree. My girlfriends fajitas were dry. The waiter must have been having a bad night. He wasn't very friendly. And the gentleman up front was more interested in his smart phone than customer service. Once the waiter took our order, we didn't see him again until we were checking out. Of the employees we saw, they were all on their phones. I got the chicken enchilada, and it was good. My husband got the steak taco, and he couldn't chew part of it because of so much gristle. In short, we were more impressed with the food than the service by far. We won't be back. read more

My husband and I ate here for dinner. My husband ordered shrimp quesadilla. I ordered the to another. There were quite a few customers while we were here but we did not have to wait for a table. The restaurant is popular for locals. My husband said his dish was served hot and had ample shrimp. It was a good portion. He would order it again. My Santa Fe fajita was served with 3 small tortillas. The vegetables and chicken had a white cheddar melted on top. Had I know this, I would have asked that it be left off. The vegetables were a little oily. I would have preferred that they were steamed. The beans were not dry like some re fried beans which I thought was better. The rice was good. Overall it was good. If you are in the area and want Mexican then eat here but I would not recommend driving out of the way (long distance) to eat here. read more

I have previously ate at this restaurant with no issue. Tonight's visit was unfortunately not the same experience. When we first sat down the waiters brought our chips but failed to check back in once our table had ran out of chips and finished with our first round of drinks. Eventually, the waiter rectified this after we flagged down a different server. When our food ultimately arrived we immediately noticed that the bacon was near raw and dripping grease on the chicken. After drawing attention to this the waiter suggested that they merely take the dish back to reheat it, a clear violation of cross contamination policies. Later into the meal I noticed that my vegetarian chimichanga actually had chicken in half of it. Both times the serving staff were less than accommodating when the issues were brought to their attention. When we went to pay the server made an inappropriate joke about one of our group crying about the price. This entire experience was a disappointing reflection on a restaurant that I have previously enjoyed the food and the service from. read more

Crappy ass place. I ordered the dinner steak with mushrooms and onions in tomatillo sauce (which is green) received a cold hard flour tortilla with steak strips and a side of fondue cheese like an hour later. Forgot the rice and beans too?!?? The place had like 2 other customers so idk why it took so long. I had the guy look at the menu with me and look at my plate. He took it back and I left. More than just typical Mexican. Some nice specialty items, daily specials too. Quick courteous service and a friendly staff, just nice. Try the dish called Popeye, seasoned chicken with lots of onions, mushrooms prepared with mole sauce, for those who know what that is. read more

This is my favorite restaurant in Chillicothe. It has a wide selection, reasonable prices, and daily drink specials. However, the service is really hit or miss. Sometimes they are excellent and checking on you constantly, and other times you sit there for an hour completely ignored. Still gonna go back at least once per month though, since most of the other choices in this town are crappy chains. read more
