There's a traditional burger called Signature Burger, then numbered 1-3 depending on how many patties. They have three fancier burgers -- Mushroom & Swiss, BBQ or Jalapeño. There are three types of chicken sandwiches -- Regular, Mango Habanero or Nashville Hot. They also offer chicken wings or chicken tenders with 8 sauces to choose from. Side options are waffle fries or onion rings. If you have a sweet tooth, they offer six flavors of milk shakes. I went with the Signature Burger 2 and a side of waffle fries. In addition to the two patties, it comes with two slices of American cheese, caramelized onions, signature sauce and mayonnaise. It was ready in under 10 minutes and I was on my way. They do have about ten tables if you want to dine inside. The burger comes wrapped in foil and stayed pretty warm by the time I got home. The flavor was excellent but after a few bites it almost seemed too decadent for a burger. I'm not sure how else to explain it other than it was so rich and dense that I think my taste buds were confused. I couldn't really taste the signature sauce, so I think next time I would ask for extra signature sauce and get it without mayonnaise. The fries were crispy and all in all it ended up being the perfect amount of food. I'd be interested to try one of the chicken sandwiches next time.

If I was certain he wasn't hiding in some kind of government witness protection program, I'd tag his wife for the referral... but for everyone's safety, we'll keep identities classified. ‍#SpelledwithaZ Truthfully, I had never even heard of Jasper Kitchen + Bar before this. But when you're approaching the half-century mark, life starts revolving around exciting things like **annual physicals, cholesterol numbers, and oil changes**. Yesterday we had a check-up appointment in Jamestown and I thought, "You know what pairs nicely with preventative healthcare? A massive lunch." So off we went. Before arriving, I checked out their website and immediately had a problem... **I wanted to order everything.** This menu is **extensive**. We're talking the kind of menu where you start reading and eventually forget why you opened it in the first place. Starters Just casually starting the meal with a **munitions depot** apparently: * Homemade Chips & Salsa * Loaded Tator Bombs * Cheese Bombs * Garlic Dough Bombs *(seriously... enough bombs... choose love over violence )* * Bavarian Pretzel Sticks * Hot Honey Fries * Buffalo Chicken Dip * "The Bomb" Sampler... again with the bombs * Pizza Pretzels Quesadillas * Chicken & Cheese * Chicken Parm * Chicken Bacon Ranch * **Philly Dilla** (Yes. Immediately yes.) Handhelds * Italian Stallion * Buffalo Chicken Wrap * Shrimp or Fried Grouper Tacos * Chicken Caesar Wrap * Nashville Hot Sandwich * Club Wrap * **The RBF** - Roast Beef with melted provolone, giardiniera *(still not 100% sure what that is)* and parmesan on a hoagie roll Burgers Now we're talking. * Basic B - 1/3 lb Angus beef, mayo, cheese * Jasper Burger - pepper jack, bacon, jalapeño, Carolina gold sauce, "the garden" * Bacon Be Jammin Burger - bacon jam AND four strips of bacon * Big Daddy Burger - two 1/3 lb patties with bourbon sauce * Patty Melt - Texas toast, grilled onions, American & Swiss And the best part... **Every sandwich comes with fries or tots at no extra charge.** You know... **the way God and Ronald Reagan intended.** Brick Oven Fired Pizza 14" pies with garlic butter crust dusted with parmesan. This menu reads like a **2000s hip-hop playlist**. * Cheese-us Walks * H to the Ezzo *(Columbus-made Ezzo Pepperoni)* * 2 Legit to Quit * Coming Back to Philly * Baby I Got Your Honey with Mike's Hot Honey * Let's Talk Supreme, Baby * Drop It Like It's Hot * California Love *(for those that squat to pee)* * I Like It When You Call Me Big BBQ * **Nothin' But a Meat Thang** - loaded with all the meats... I'll leave the joke right there before Facebook suspends me * Hungry Like a Wolf Salads For those who hate flavor. * House * Caesar * Crisp Greens * Cobb * Buffalo * Italian Let's be honest. A salad is a salad. It's green. It's crunchy. It's what people order when they're pretending to be responsible. Chicken add on's - Grilled.......or Fried! Nothing screams **"healthy life choices"** quite like ordering a salad topped with **fried chicken**. The menu also notes the **ranch is house made**. Yes. Please. Immediately. Soup of the Day Every time I see "Soup du Jour" I immediately hear the **Dumb and Dumber** line... *"That's the soup of the day."* *"Mmm... that sounds good. I'll have that."* #IknowEveryLine Chicken Options * Boneless Wings * Bone-In Wings * Chicken Tenders Sauces include: Garlic Parmesan, BBQ Honey, Buffalo, Teriyaki, Mango Habanero, Jamaican Jerk, Nashville Hot, Bourbon, Spicy Garlic, Sweet Buffalo and Dry Rub. Basically **flavor for every personality disorder**. The Journey There We plugged the address into Waze and headed out for what turned into a pleasant country drive. Eventually Waze directed us to a sign for Jasper Hills Golf Club, not a member, followed by a left turn into what can only be described as an "upper middle class neighborhood." How do I know? Big Houses, One with a matching swing set. That's big money territory. #BigMoney At the end of the road sits a building that honestly looks a bit like someone's house with a large parking lot. Now sometimes I'm not the brightest bulb in the chandelier... but luckily we were in the right place. Don't be shy - head in. Inside The interior was bright, open, and inviting with plenty of seating. Eventually the dining room filled up with guests. Our server - Hannah greeted us quickly, took our drink orders, and was fantastic the entire time. Also worth mentioning: **Restrooms were clean and spacious**. Looking for something besides highway fast food offerings, I asked the gentleman at the store if there was anywhere good to eat. He directed me to this place where the bartender was great, the back patio was good dog friendly, and the candied bacon BLT (add cheddar) contained the best candied bacon I have ever had. It was delicious! The unsweet tea actually tasted fresh brewed, not over stewed, and was refreshing. I will definitely make the short detour any time I travel up or down the 71 during their open hours.

Sterling, OH 43143 (740) 831-4018 This morning I rolled into Hammer Time Pub for a little Saturday Morning Fuel-Up and decided to go big or go home. Enter the Tool Kit #3 -- or as I like to call it, The Philly Cheesesteak Meets Tater Tot Avalanche. Base layer: crispy golden tater tots Perfectly seasoned Philly cheesesteak beef Mushrooms, onions, peppers Ghost pepper cheese bringing the heat Friends... this was a LOT of food. Like, "better have your morning cleared" kind of food. As a Philly cheesesteak fan, this hit me right in the taste buds. And with the EMS station right across the street, I felt comforted knowing my #CardiacCare plan was already in place. Yes, it was a little salty -- but hey, it's pub food. That's like complaining your milkshake is too sweet. #Hypertension Verdict: Awesome food, hearty portions, and a hometown vibe that makes you want to linger. If you're at Deer Creek State Park, it's just a short hop for great eats, chill vibes, and good company. Bald White Guy Official Rating: ‍‍‍ (3 1/2 Bald Heads) Why did the tater tot go to therapy? Because it felt a little fried inside. #BaldWhiteGuyReviews #SupportLocal #HammerTimePub #TaterTotGoals #PhillyCheesesteakLove #DeerCreekEats #ChillVibesBigBites #Hypertension #DadJoke #mountsterling

Quick facts: Kim's Classic Diner https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100071643982262 303 W. Washington St, Sabina, OH 937‑944‑3939 Wed-Thu & Fri 7am-3:30pm; Sat-Sun 7am-1:30pm (Mon-Tue closed) Vintage 1946 Silk City Diner shell, restored by Kim & Ken Starr -- yes, it's basically a stainless‑steel time machine on the National Register of Historic Places. #HistoryNerdsRejoice Walked in at 8am, got greeted by Amber (who immediately filled my 20 oz Yeti like she'd known me for years), and felt like a regular before I even ordered. That's either great hospitality or they have a secret BaldWhiteGuy membership card I didn't know about. ‍ The food: I went with the #5 Jetstar 88 -- fluffy omelet, homefries, smothered in sausage gravy, cheddar on top, toast on the side. Because who doesn't want to start their day with a gravy blanket? * Gravy: The edible version of a warm hug that also apologizes for your life choices. * Homefries: Potato therapy -- crunchy on the edges, soft on the inside, zero judgment. * Eggs: Sunlight on a plate. Scrambled for the soul. Food came out fast, tasted like the kind of breakfast your grandma would approve of. #MostImportantMealofTheDay. Service was friendly, the place is spotless, and the era original booths are delightfully snug -- historically accurate and a gentle reminder that we've all gotten a little wider since 1946. Met Kim & Ken -- absolute #legends. They gave me the diner tour, showed photos of its journey (New Jersey New York Michigan Sabina), and told stories like it's a movie set that keeps getting better. Apparently Kim's Classic Diner has been in movies. #Famous Minor gripes: And by Minor, I mean hardly worth mentioning * Coffee = $3.05. Yes, it was good. No, it was not brewed with gold flakes. * No WiFi. Some will call it a crime; I call it a forced digital detox. Enjoy the pie, talk to a human, stare at the chrome. Final verdict -- Bald Head Rating: 4 of 5 Bald Heads ‍‍‍‍ Lost a head for the coffee price and the lack of WiFi (but gained a few for atmosphere and gravy). Huge shoutout to Kim, Ken, Amber, and the whole crew -- you brought a piece of diner history back to life and gave Sabina a damn fine breakfast spot.
