And when you add coney sauce and cheese? Forget about it! That's my kind of meal right there. For lunch, I ordered two of their classic coneys. Each one came loaded with savory coney sauce, mustard, diced onions, and shredded cheese. The best part? They're only $3 each! You can't beat that with a stick these days. My wife went with a slaw dog and a bag of chips, and our entire bill came to just $9.00. That's what I call a "fargain bargain!" Finding good food at prices like that is becoming harder and harder these days. Tony's offers a surprisingly extensive comfort food menu, so even if hot dogs aren't your thing, you'll find plenty of other options. And if you're in the mood for something sweet, they've got ice cream and shakes ready to satisfy your sweet tooth. Every time we visit, the place seems busy, and it's easy to see why. The combination of good food, friendly service, and wallet-friendly prices keeps customers coming back. In a world where fast-food meals can easily cost twice as much, Tony's Coneys feels like a hidden gem. So do yourself--and your wallet--a favor. Grab the family, head over to Tony's Coneys, order a couple of coneys, and finish it off with an ice cream cone. You'll leave full, happy, and with a few extra dollars still in your pocket. We'll definitely be back!

The food left much to be desired. Our table of 7 ordered a variety of dishes such as the Rise and Shine, Country Breakfast Skillet, a pancake, and breakfast sandwich. The grits were watery with zero salt or butter. We tried to doctor them up by adding lots of salt and butter but it was useless The eggs had no salt or pepper although they do a nice job of cooking over easy eggs which some places fail at. Homefries, which were really hasbrowns, were mushy and bland. The pancake was dry. The bacon and toast were good.

Farm-Fresh Flavor with a Side of Small-Town Charm - Breakfast at The Farmer's Daughter in Urbana,…read moreOhio If you ever find yourself cruising through Urbana, Ohio with a hunger that only a hearty, home-cooked breakfast can satisfy, do yourself a favor and stop at The Farmer's Daughter. It's the kind of place where the biscuits are fluffy, the coffee's always hot, and the welcome is as warm as the griddle. This morning, we popped in for breakfast, and from the moment we stepped through the door, we knew we were in good hands. That feeling was confirmed when Holly, our waitress, greeted us with a smile and the kind of friendly service that makes you feel like a regular--even if it's your first visit. I went all-in with The Hog Log, and let me tell you, this is not your average breakfast burrito. It's a hearty wrap filled with sausage, bacon, ham, scrambled eggs, and cheese, all rolled in a soft flour tortilla and smothered in rich, homemade sausage gravy. Every bite had that perfect balance of smoky, creamy, and savory flavors--and the gravy? Next-level delicious. My wife ordered Uncle Dave's Favorite Breakfast, which comes with your choice of pancakes or French toast, eggs done your way, a breakfast meat, and toast. She chose pancakes, bacon (crispy but not burnt), whole wheat toast, and eggs over medium. The pancakes were fluffy and golden, the bacon had that perfect crisp, and the eggs were cooked just right--firm whites with warm, runny yolks. It was classic comfort on a plate. The décor is classic country diner meets local charm--think rustic wood accents, sweet signs on the wall, and the kind of vibe that makes you want to slow down and savor the morning. Whether you're a local or just passing through Champaign County, The Farmer's Daughter is worth the stop. The portions are generous, the food is fresh, and the service--especially from folks like Holly--makes the experience even better. So go ahead, order the Hog Log. Or Uncle Dave's. Or both. You'll thank me later. Sorry my camera wasn't working so no pictures Take the Trip, your Next Adventure is waiting. #TakeTheTripByBrian
