But, upon seeing my food, with 'so thick', 'so brown' gravy wasn't pleasing to me. Hubby, who grew up, whose family eat gravy with almost anything over potatoes (never on rice mind you), loved it! I'm not sure, if I prefer having Saltine Crackers best than what I'm having tonight. I took 3/4ths of my food, to eat with some vegetables. We also ordered soup of the day, which was chicken noddle soup with tomato base. I love that! The dinner salad, was also good. Both were shared. We asked the friendly waitress if they had half and half and she said they only had powdered creamer. I should have ordered tea! The food was ok. I had 2 eggs over easy, hasbrowns and sourdough toast. All were just fine. My daughter had the same but with a poached egg which was severely underdone with watery egg whites. We didn't send it back because we had already complained about the milk for the coffee. All in all we had a decent breakfast on a rainy morning where we didn't want to cook outside.
